It's all about the decor. The Vespa is a nice touch, though I'd like to own it.

Happy to see this lil gem going strong in the SV mall. The owners are super personable and do their best to meet your expectations. Their homemade and fresh creations from breads to gelato flavors make this place feel like you've just tasted something directly from Italy! Keep up the great work.

Wonderful food and drinks. Not a full sit down restaurant but a sandwich lunch spot. I like the "Casa" sandwich but they are all good.

Everything here is delicious! It's in a mall food court, so the ambiance is what it is, but the food is amazing.

First time dining at this iconic Tucson restaurant and let me start with how delicious the food…read morewas. It lives up to all the reviews and why I gave 3 stars. I've always been a believer in sharing the good but when all establishments have 5 stars it loses its meaning. A birthday night was unnecessarily tainted by a surly server who went out of her way to humiliate my partner without apologizing for her error. We came for the music and didn't mind waiting 15-20 minutes after getting menus from the hostess. When another couple arrived 10 minutes after us and the waitress happily greeted them and took their order we were surprised and not happy. An attempt to get her attention was met without acknowledgement but a brusque response - I am with them. Not I'll be with you in a moment , or oops, or I'll get someone else for you. So we went to leave . Disappointed of course, because we wanted a nice experience. As we left she continued her dismissive behavior as my partner simply stated what he wanted. Her attitude was harsh and unwarranted. Fortunately Diego, the manager made it right and brought us to the other room. He took care of us personally and the music and food lived up to all the many very good reviews . Great service was highlighted in all the reviews. Rude and haughty just isn't Tucson. The experience felt crappy -- enough so I am venting here. 5 stars otherwise. Probably some of the best splurge food in Tucson. The wine list is excellent, small plates divine and next time I will be sure to have French Onion soup. We will be back and kudos to Diego who was in an awkward spot. A server who wouldn't back down or say she was sorry and a sad miffed customer. Everyone has a bad day and it's amazing how much a genuine sorry can make things ok.

It was our first time...and how have we gone so long not trying this amazing restaurant?!? The food is spectacular...EVERYTHING was magical. They make a great prickly pear margarita but the muddled strawberry Caipirinha was my favorite. Wow! We enjoyed the steak empanadas and bacon wrapped chorizo stuffed dates for our appetizers. Get those dates! I admit I was skeptical but so glad I tried them! Had never had paella before but the Mar y Tierra was HUGE and just DIVINE! We got 4 portions out of it! The Crème brûlée was a beautiful conclusion to a fantastic experience Highly Recommended...you won't be disappointed. So glad we got out of our box and tried something new. Can't wait to come back!

The food was amazing and the service was top-tier. Our waiter was friendly, funny, and great. We had the best dinner here during our trip to Tucson. First off, the whole menu sounds incredible but you just can't go wrong. We picked the following tapas: LAS FAVORITAS (Dates stuffed with Spanish chorizo, wrapped in smoked pork) PULPO FERIA (Octopus, fingerlings, chili oil, parsley, chimichurri and greens) TOREADOS (Seared shishito peppers, lemon, herbs, chicharrón) ALCACHOFAS (Grilled artichokes, goat cheese, orange zest, and mint) And for the paella: MARISCOS Grilled squid, prawns, mussels, clams, and saffron For dessert, we got the tres leches. The cake was so soft and drenched in delicious cream. I'm really not kidding when I say everything we got was delightful. I can't pick a favorite, get them all! I will say though that the paella was a star of the night and was filled with so much saffron and seafood so don't miss out on it!

This remains 5 stars for me! Great service, and we loved our tapas from pulpo, to salmon, mussels and frites, to paella and sangrias! We were served quickly and without a hitch! We were the only ones in the restaurant on a hot Sunday afternoon in Tucson! My only small complaint was the fact that it was a tab bit warm - the temp. was set at 82 eek. Here is what my son ordered: - Paella Del Mar (Seafood) We got the $28 which is good for 2 people. $98 is available for a larger group. I was so happy to find a paella where the yellow rice is fluffy versus one that is baked and burnt. My son pretty much ate it all himself. One of the staff members patted him on the back and said...hearty appetite you got there. Lol. - Galician Octopus (my son loved this dish) - Basque Sausage Stew with mixed greens, onions, tomatoes and large white beans that comes with a side of rice. I was all about that rice, I could just eat this and be happy. To end the meal we could not say no to their Old World Style "Burnt" Cheesecake. So yummy. Service was 100/10!! Staff goes above and beyond. Gosh, I know I keep saying this but people in Tucson are just so darn friendly. 10% discount for UofA students (must show I.D.). Mac n Cheese was wonderful, pulled pork on top needed spice. The patty melt patty was inexplicably rubbery. Nutty buddy cheesecake was perfect. 3 stars Will go again.
