    Real pasta!!
    Michelle B.

I'm really impressed by the vast options here. The cases are full of Italian specialties like baked pene, chicken Marsala, broccoli rabe, the list goes on and on. Next to the specialties case is where they make sandwiches to order. In the back there are some hot daily items like meatloaf and mashed potatoes, etc. And then there is the brick oven where they make pizza. There are also specialties items like baked goods, pastas, cookies, pastries, I mean the list goes on and on here. My hubby and I got sandwiches. One godfather, which has Italian meats, cheese, lettuce, tomato and sweet peppers and a Hillside which is chicken cutlet with bacon and melted cheddar and they were both really good. I really enjoyed their hero bread. It's that crunchy on the outside yet doughy on the inside kinda bread. It's delicious. But not as big as I would have expected or I'm use to from other Italian delis I frequent. They use the smaller almost foot long hero bread and they are $9.99 each. Still a five star place because they really have everything here. Everyone working here was friendly and they seemed like family. I will definitely be back to try a little of everything.

I was told about this place by a new co-worker as a place we might want to order from to change up from our regular eats. While most of my Co-workers got the panini's, which they all raze about, I choose to get a hero. I must say the hillside slider hero is amazing! With a long work day it keeps me full through out the long shift we pull on Thursday nights. I also appreciate that the deliver all the way to my job in Manhasset. If you ever get the chance check them out you won't be upset.

    Their "Greek Salad"

Ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken on Uber eats. When I opened the salad it had green and red peppers, regular black olives and days old chicken. I called the restaurant and asked them why they added green and red peppers with no kalamata olives I was told "that's how we make it here". Zero customer service. I also asked about the dry chicken. Allegedly it was made earlier today. None of the food was fresh after I placed my order the food came in 20 mins. Waste of money.

Piccolo has some of the best pizza around! Great for lunch or dinner take out -- truly is a hidden gem! The pizza maker Dominic is also really friendly and makes waiting for your pie a enjoyable experience.

Love this place - best potato salad I've ever had, and nice big sandwiches that are worth the price.

The hillside slider sandwich is delicious, employees are kind and welcoming, the only downside is it is a bit pricey

I can tell that whoever made this menu is a real sandwich eater lol. I got the buffalo chicken cesar wrap and a side a fries. The buffalo sauce wasn't too spicy to where it just tastes like hot sauce, but tangy enough to balance out the cesar salad. And they were generous with the fries. Very good hand cut fries, just needed a little dash of salt. My coworker said the wagyu chop cheese was good. Just wished they seasoned the meat a little more. I can understand the other sandwich toppings are supposed to balance it out but a little extra pepper never hurt lol All in all they're on point. Service was helpful. It is a little small inside so will probably do take out only but, will definitely go back to try other sandwiches.
