Have used Pick n pull on 2 separate occasions. Both times the driver was late. No phone call, no nothing. Called and hung up on several times. They are completely unorganized. I drove 40 miles from Ft. Worth to try to pull a shift assembly from an Audi that was supposed to have a manual transmission (according to their website). It was an automatic. If the people who check these cars in can't go the extra little bit to give you the proper information then why should I drive all that way to give them my business? Same thing happened with a car in Ft. Worth but I only drove 10 miles to see it. Very frustrating read more

After calling the customer service line the 1st time and the phone just endless ringing I gave up 5 minutes into the call. I called again and continued with the endless ringing. I finally called and selected that I wanted to sell my car when I honestly just had a question that isn't answered on the website, I was hung up on immediately upon the answering of the phone call. I called back, again selected I want to sell my car and someone answered, I could here background noise and they wouldn't respond to me when saying hello. Unprofessional. But hey this is a junkyard... so do you think my review will be even read let alone make someone's difference in going to this location? Probably not. I can't stand companies that know their customer service doesn't matter and live up to every ounce of poor customer service possible. It is confusing to get to the parts phone but corporate get to answer, when finally speak to someone they're not knowledgeable in vehicles, so they keep asking you unnecessary questions and finally they don't have the part you need. read more

It was easy just walk in talk to them about a part or car on the lot and they will give you directions go there and pick it off yourself and then just go in and pay take a water though cause it can get hot as hell read more

I had to wait in a line outside in the sun for 15 minutes just to get inside the building to show them my ID and title paperwork. Then they tell me The title wasn't assigned to me so they couldn't buy it from me. So I looked on Yelp and found and sold it to Dallas Auto Buyers www.dallasautobuyers.com 817 400-5865 and they CAME TO ME WITHIN 30 MINUTES WITH CASH not a check. I have bought some parts from Pick n Pull a few times and that was ok except for the waiting inline in the sun to get into a junkyard! Came to get an ECU. This is the only place that has said to leave and come back with a mask. In that manner. The staff was very rude about it, and coincidentally there was someone outside selling masks for $1... very unpleasant experience with a hostile staff even after getting a mask. I expended more than 1 hour to pull a window regulator out from a 2005 Honda. They asked $55 for such an old part. You can find an OEM new one for $35. They are so ambitious!!. Never again I'll visit that place. read more

I got extremely lucky when I went there and found 2 interior trim panels that weren't totally trashed. I did not, however, find a replacement center cap. You would think that a center cap for a wheel on an F150 would be pretty easy to find and at about $4 (their prices are listed on their website) it seemed too good to be true. And it was. Outside of the few complete salvage vehicles that they are trying to sell as fixer-uppers, almost all of the vehicles had no rims on them and the few that did were because the vehicle was damaged to the point that any parts would be useless or it was impossible to remove the rim. Almost every single vehicle was sitting on some stacks of old useless scrap rims. The day I went there, it had been raining recently and with all the mud in their yard, I was afraid to touch anything for fear of being crushed. It was scary at times because with all of the vehicle balancing like that and parked right next to each other, if one toppled over, it would be like 2 ton dominoes. Most of the trucks and SUV's I looked at had piles of parts from other vehicles stacked in the back cargo area or in the truck bed. I guess with their prices being so much lower than any other salvage yard, that when a vehicle is set in place, it is immediately picked over, possibly by their competitors who then turn around and flip them. I'm sure people are able to find something usable for their vehicle after scrounging around a bunch of unbalanced skeletons, but it just isn't worth paying their $2 admission fee to go looking for a needle in a dozen death trap haystacks. read more

I use this yard several times a week the employees we know each other on first name basis they are real friendly, courteous, at some points they go to extra yard to help the customer if need be. The manager Chris will do what he can if you have a problem or question to satisfy the customer I have had only one situation where I had to contact corporate office that was before Chris was manager.. This place is huge! Has over 60 rows of vehicles. And like 10-12 vehicles on each row. Plenty of cars to choose parts from. A lot of make and models. Best part is, you can go online at pickandpull.com and type in year and model and zip code. They will let you know where they have those vehicle at which locations and how many of those vehicles they have at each location and so forth. But... bring your phone with you or write down where each car is located like what row and what color is that vehicle and bring the paper with you. They will ask you if you know where the vehicle all located at, if you don't, they will charge you $2 for a print out of where they are located at. Or you can print out yours or write it down or bring your phone in and use it to navigate to the vehicle yourself. Don't believe the hours posted. They stop letting people in the yard at least 20 minutes (when we got there after looking at Dallas West) before closing. Told the "bouncer" that we would be out by 6:00 (job literally takes 5 minutes) - nope, no way. Not going to drive the hour each way tomorrow to spend 15 minutes in their yard. Oh, and this yard is in one of the worst parts of Dallas. TIP: Pack some heat & go early. read more

I used their web site to get an offer to sell my car. They called the next day and setup an appointment. They were supposed to pick up my car between 12-4 on the day of the pick up. I called at 4 to see why nobody had shown up. I was told somebody would be there around 6pm. At 7:30pm I attempted to call and no answer because they were closed. They finally called and pick up the car at 8:45pm. That was 4 1/2 hours after it was supposed to be picked up. Not very good service. read more
