When the bill came, two of the tapas had the wrong price (higher than what the menu said)....I had to ask the bartender to rectify, which he did.....Poor people the ones that do not check their bills....they can easily be overcharged here....Big time..... She was our first waitress back in the day, and lucky us, she packed up our order. Her warmth, charm, enthusiasm, and deep knowledge of the restaurant are unmatched, and she kindly let us know that Hellenic will be closing soon for a winter break and reopening in mid-February. Hellenic is truly our happy place. I've literally been driving past this spot since 1976, and only in the last year did I finally stop in and discover what I now consider the best Greek restaurant from Manhattan to East Marion and all points in between. The food is consistently outstanding, and the wait staff have been charming and professional time after time.
