I went back tonight with my grandma and the service was once again AMAZING!! Everyone that works there is so wonderful, I will not stop going to this Pick Up Stix. The people working there tonight were Mario, Michel, Nico, and Mariela (so sorry if I spelt any of your names wrong). The food was delicious as usual, we ordered the Mongolian Beef with noodles and the Pad Thai with extra egg instead of another protein! Even another customer who had never been there came up to my grandma and I asking what we ordered because she wanted to order it too!! She even CAME BACK to get another order after leaving and eating it because it was SO GOOD! The ambiance is always so bright and welcoming right when you walk in. This is a tricky review to write. The food was good. Standard Pick Up Stix fare. But the service! Yikes! They need to seriously up their game. They do a brisk take-out business, but those of us who were there to dine in were completely forgotten. We were never notified when our food was ready. We were never told that dine in patrons were treated no differently than a take-out order. Nobody informed us that our orders would be wrapped up in bags and could be picked up from the take-out counter. While we were there, at least 5 tables were left sitting in the restaurant, thinking names would be called when food was ready. Sitting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting. Watching to-go orders being picked up from the take-out counter. Perfect strangers from various tables started to discuss what the problem might be. Each group finally went up to the take-out counter only to find that their food had been sitting there, getting cold, for quite some time. Talk about disgruntled customers! If your order taking employee had simply let customers know that their order would be available for pick up at the take-out counter, we all could have hung out at the take-out counter and asked, whenever a bag of food showed up, whether it was ours. Instead we sat at our tables, assuming our names would be called when our food was ready. Nope! No such luck. The general consensus among all the dine-in patrons when we were there seemed to be NEVER AGAIN. Never again would they be coming to that Pick Up Stix location. Basic communication would have prevented all that cold food and all those negative feelings. All the lost customers. And this review would have been positive instead of negative. read more

Had to run work today and run a few errands and ended up at Pick Up Stix for dinner. Should've stayed with what I normally get which is the lettuce wrap. Tim ordered the Garlic Shrimp and it made my mouth water until it actually went in my mouth. Did not taste anything garlicly at all. Like none. Zero. Nada. Taste soy sauce and pretty much it. The only reason it's a 3 star and not a 2 is because the customer was great. She was quick with our order and gave us a to go bag before we even had the chance to ask. The place was clean and nice looking. The counter person Melanie J was super nice, very up beat, always smiling as she went about her job. I placed a to go order at 5pm on a Wednesday. No one eating in the restaurant, but still pretty busy with customers picking up orders. I ordered a shrimp dish and a chicken dish. I was surprised at how limited the menu is. They wait was pretty quick for food that is cooked to order. I had never been to a Pick Up Stix before. This is the closest location to my house, but it is about a 9-10 mile round trip. When I got home, the to go bag was missing my chicken order. I called the restaurant to tell them, they apologized said I could come back a pick it up. I did not want to make a second 10 mile round trip at that time, and they said come back anytime and they would replace the missing item. I returned the next evening and picked up the new order. Once again it was fast, and Melanie J was as stated above. When I got home it was a bourbon chicken dish, not what I was expecting. The two items that I ate, over the two days, were really not that good. The shrimp was stir fried with some vegetables. The vegetables were what I would typically expect. Not bad, but nothing to rave about. The shrimp was pretty lifeless. It came with some sort of coating on it, either a soggy breading or soggy flour. Not very appetizing, and what ever the coating was, it was half washed off and kind of floating around with the veggies. The bourbon chicken wasn't what I ordered, but it is something I have had before and liked. But this chicken tasted like it had been cooked in a dirty wok. It had that very distinct carbon taste that comes from a grill that hasn t been cleaned or frying pan being used to cook eggs after having just burnt some bacon. Maybe a paper towel to wipe out some burnt bacon bits, but not cleaned well enough to remove the burnt oils left behind. Needless to say, I won't be returning to that location, or probably any other location. If I want fast, mediocre Chinese, Panda express is much closer for me. The Pick Up Stix food was not even close to being just ok. They need more than one pleasant employee. I think they are lucky to have her. One positive in a sea of yuk. read more

We came here for a late lunch and I was hungry. This location was clean. I had to use the restroom and it was clean. Not filthy. You need to ask for the key in order to use the restroom. Anyway, I got the Mongolian beef lunch special. I was disappointed in how much beef I got. I got a lot of white rice and the little beef and lots of green onion and regular white onions. Food was decent and hot. The inside was clean and plenty of parking up front. It's fast food but good. Other locations I have been to have been okay but this was the best location I have been to.
