We have been going here since they opened years ago and the service was great. Now under new management it not even close to the high quality service we had before. Today, the 4th of July we will popped in to get some seasonal nachos but when we realized it was made with firecracker chicken we asked to substitute House Special Chicken since too much spice bothers my husbands medical condition. The girl at the register asked the cook and she said No, with an angry look on her face. The register girl said sorry, she's the head cook and she said no. I asked are you kidding it's just a non spicy meat? She said the other one is on sale sooo... I told her I would pay any difference in cost and she replied sorry no. Mind you we are the only people in the place it's not like they were busy. It was about 4:08 pm. So we left, called Upland Pick Up Stix and they said sure not a problem. Drove clear to Upland where they were waiting, already made for us. They said they even substitute tofu for people sometimes. Never going to Fontana store again. I used to love Pick Up Stix. I went to the one in San Bernardino often. It's been a very long time since I had it, and then I remembered there was one in Fontana. So I ordered online. We got the house chicken (which was always my favorite), and the Fire Chicken. We got brown rice, white rice, and chow mein. On the plus side, the order was correct. The portions are generous. However, I was disappointed in the food. The chicken was dry and not much sauce. The chow mein was mushy like the noodles were too done. And the rice was also mushy. I'm hoping this was an anomaly, and they were just having a Monday. I'll probably try it again to see if that is the case. read more

It is fast food, Americanized janky goodness I'm guilty to say I kinda like. It is like Pei Wei PF Changs like in the food. After a long drive from Vegas seeing this is across the street was welcomed. I got a tofu house special with brown rice and rangoons. Rangoons were standard and decent. Tofu is done up crispy and went well with the house special sauce. I really liked the texture of my tofu. My travel buddy, Angela H. had a shrimp curry that was chalk full of veggies with it and was pretty decent actually. Not much to say, it's fast and satisfying specially if you like crispy tofu like me! Overall though I like to get pickup in this area for China One though. read more

Worst service ever!!!! It's sad because I love this place and how vegan friendly they are. I had a very simple inquiry regarding the application of a coupon. The conversation started out good once I told the employee once I told the employee Ted, that my coupon did not apply to my order in the online system pick up sticks app. He asks me a great customer service friendly question how would you customer service friendly question how would you like for me to resolve this? I propped provided a sensible resolution he placed me on hold To go and speak with his manager. Upon his return he told he told me there was nothing he could do and that I can go on the app and and report the issue. I said wow, you asked me how I would like you to resolve this issue this doesn't feel...click Then the phone hung up. I called right back and was placed on hold and left on hold for 10 minutes after it was identifiedit was me...(they never came back to the line). I got another phone from my house and call back Ted answered the phone again I asked for a manager. This person who came to the phone did not care at all about the service experience I had just received and she was able to hear me still on hold on my original phone call would on my original phone call which was pretty interesting so I went through everything with her she didn't even take the time to look at my order or pull it up. I told her I don't feel comfortable with the service and I would like to just count to my order. She reported she was not the real manager but I could call Chris in the morning and talk to him about everything. You know customer service is essential when you are in the service industry saying no or saying you can't provide a service is totally fine it's not what you do is how you do it. Hanging up on a customer = huge no Being dismissive = huge no I can spend my money anywhere this company/ location doesn't deserve the business. I am very disappointed! The food is tasty but in my opinion it is a bit salty and/or too sweet, as in the House Special Chicken. Lunch specials are served on a divided plate, but the regular entrees are served in a chinese take-out style paper bucket. The kitchen is open and you can watch the food being prepared. We were turned away before even ordering. Basically the guy tells us, "just so your aware before you order, the wait is about 40 minutes". He then points at the chefs cooking and the people sitting at tables and then walks away. For the next five minutes, while waiting, I looked around at the five different groups of people sitting and all but one of them already had their food and we're eating. At this point after standing there for 5 minutes and not being helped, we decided to leave. We had a similar experience the last time we were here. We were actually the only one in the place and waited over a half an hour for our food. When I asked them about what was taking so long, they explained that they had a lot of phone orders. During the 30+ minutes, we seen two different orders picked up. This place has to be loosing so much business because they don't staff properly to keep up with demand. My suggestion is if you want Pick Up Stix is to call in order and pick up or at least call 30 minutes ahead or you will be waiting a long time. read more

Staff going full stream in the kitchen and all I hear is the manager continuously telling his team words of encouragement, "you're great, thank you". I came to this location with my niece and was so impressed with the Manager Scott Daniels and the way he made all his customers feel welcomed and at home. The tables were nicely arranged, the decor was beautiful and inviting and the colors of the hanging lights made me feel happy and uplifted. Love the music, bamboo decor and friendly attitude. I came here at 749 thinking they were open until 9 like they used to be but they had a sign on the door with temporary hours saying they closed at 8pm which is fine seeing as I still had 11 minutes ....I asked if I could order and they refused to serve me telling me they were closed. For better or for worse, this is probably the best Chinese restaurant close to my work. It seems relatively new, and the place is clean and nicely decorated. It also helps that the staff is always friendly and nice. It didn't really occur to me until the other day, but almost all of the other Chinese restaurants in the area (all 2 of them) serve their food from steam tables. It also occurred to me that I like my food prepared fresh, and you can definitely tell the difference when you compare it to the aforementioned food. Now that I think about it, I don't like the thought of eating food that's been sitting out all day, waiting to be slopped into my styrofoam container. I don't care how cheap it is. I'd like to publicly acknowledge that the new marketing campaign for Crispy Honey Chicken works on me like a charm!
