Somewhere along the way, I lost my ring and didn't realize it until later. When we returned a few days later, not only did we come back for more food (because it was that good), but the staff had actually found my ring and safely held onto it for three days. I was so relieved and incredibly grateful for their honesty and kindness--it really meant a lot. On our second visit, we tried the Parmesan wings and mozzarella sticks, and both were amazing. Everything we've had here has been fresh and flavorful, and the service goes above and beyond. Great food and genuinely good people. I can't recommend this place enough!

First off it looks very clean and comfy inside. The ambience is cozy. When I came in I asked for the menu and when I saw a garden burger I had to ask questions because the brand garden burger makes vegetarian patties but only one of them is actually vegan The garden burger is from US food brand Molly's kitchen and the AI tells me it is indeed vegan. It's just named as Garden burger. Looks like this would be good with the jalapeño substitution here's a really cool part, this restaurant shows up on PlugShare as having Tesla charger. Indeed it does have one around back and when I got there a Tesla was charging. Note that this is a level 2 charger. The owner has a Tesla but he just lets people use the charger at no cost. That's super cool because 395 can be a challenge if you're driving EV. Range anxiety contributes to appetite and it really is nice to be able to get a few electrons flowing while you go inside and have a bite However most people will want to go charge at the Shell station where they have both Tesla superchargers and Electrify America. I can confirm that the ladder was indeed working this weekend of May 9, 2026. There are four of them and they're in good shape. They are about $.64 per kilowatt hour that's cheaper than gas right now by all measures

The pizza itself - 5 stars and gobbled up before I could even take a picture (chalk it up to the altitude and a full day of skiing?). Even the crust was delicious, and we usually don't eat the crusts. The service was meh. No smiles from the cashier and appeared to be super unhappy to be working, but with the taste of the pizza happy to overlook that. We also didn't dine in at the patio or downstairs area, but the ambiance at the counter ordering was just bare minimalist with 2 benches to wait at. The kicker and minus a star was because I appreciate full disclosure if you do toppings on half the pizza that they are still charging you as if it was on the entire pizza. So when they say oh we can do half olives and half mushroom, you're actually paying double and the same price if you had 2 toppings on the whole pie. Then when you look at the pricing for their specialty pizzas (e.g. veggie, it's cheaper and you get 4 toppings!). Also, nowhere on the menu section of the build your own, do they say what the base pizza price is. For what it's worth, a large BYO pizza is $32. FYI: $1.25 is added for any togo orders. Also, they have a call ahead for pickup number to save time (760-648-7774).

Throughout our dinner offered to answer any questions we had at the menu or suggest recommendations. I ordered the chicken pesto fettuccine. It was so good. Not too salty or oily at all. Plenty of pasta and came with garlic bread on the side. Also ordered cheesy bread for the table. It came with marinara and ranch on the side. REALLY cheesy and good. Overall great restaurant and great service!

I also tried the $10 Limoncello, which strong & sweet, which got my friend drunk off one haha. Masterpiece pizza was super yummy and filling. Medium size comes with 8 slices that could feed 2-3ppl (4-5 if you get another dish too). Dough is thick and fluffy, and you can't go wrong with a meat combo w/ mushroom & bell peppers! Caesar salad was the other star of the night, very light & refreshing to go with the heavy pizza. Everything else was just alright. Buffalo wings were small and light on sauce. Fettuccine Alfredo was super basic, as if it was a frozen microwaveable dish. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the pizza, salad, and drinks if there's a sporting event to watch that night! I'd pass on everything else there.

It was spectacular. I had a feeling it was going to be so delicious that I would be disappointed if I only ordered the half sandwich. So I got the WHOLE! Fresh pizza with plenty of options to choose from at Yosemite View Lodge!…read more Ate here for dinner after checking into the Yosemite View Lodge. We went a little past 5 PM and there were already a few people dining outside. Plentiful parking around the restaurant. We went inside to order. They have a lot of options on the menu and you can even choose your own pizza toppings. The decor is very minimal, nothing fancy, but looked relatively clean. The employees were friendly and patient with us. We were given a plastic number card. We got water cup, paper plates, parmesan, and red pepper flakes before grabbing a table outside. Our food was brought to us outside and it felt like it didn't take long to receive everything. This is what we ordered: * Cheesy bread sticks - these were yummy! For my husband and I, they weren't too salty or oily and they had a nice amount of cheese. We were able to finish the whole thing between the two of us. * Large The River Special pizza - 12 slices of chicken, onions, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and garlic on top of cheese and green pesto sauce. This was a unique pizza that I hadn't seen anywhere else. It was pretty good! Also not too salty or oily for us. Very cheesy but you could taste the other ingredients too. We liked the medium thickness of the crust. The crust reminded me of Costco's pizza crust but a little more tender. Between the two of us, we were only able to eat 5 slices in one sitting. We refrigerated the rest of the slices and they reheated well using the pizza setting on the microwave. Total amount we spent with tax and tip was $46. Price wise, it's comparable to other eateries around Yosemite. Overall, I enjoyed our visit to Parkside Pizza and if I'm ever in the area again, I would come back and order another pizza from here!
