Pickle Time is at least a weekly stop for my husband and myself. I love the Bacon Cheeseburger with their high quality fries and my husband is a huge fan of the Chicken Caesar Wrap. Sometimes we add some mozzarella sticks to our order. They have great milkshakes as well, I'm especially enjoying the candy cane seasonal one. The customer service is excellent and friendly. While we rarely eat in the restaurant, preferring to call our order in and eat at home - the ambiance is homey and comfortable. Rundown interior, mediocre food, and weird service. The place is in serious need of repair -- vinyl seats in the booths are split wide open, and every surface just looks rough. The burger tasted and looked like it had a lot of filler in it, and it was very well done. Bun was warmed but burnt. Fries are battered and greasy. When I ordered, the woman helping us was on the phone on a hands-free headset and continued her conversation *while I was trying to order*, which is a first for me. Overall a really poor experience. It is a generous portion of meat with a delicious brine-y flavor that pairs great with the bread and mustard. kids are very picky and prefer eating here over some popular hamburger places. First time in Duvall and Pickle Time. It's located across the street from Safeway. Place is run by a nice couple with the lady at the front taking orders, serving and cashiering. The dining area was decent and clean. We ordered the pastrami burger (heaven on the brain!) and onion burger. The best burger I've had in a long time; made to order and fresh. The fries or onion rings came with the order and they were very crispy and not greasy. Next time we want to try their signature fried pickles, which was sold out and it was only noontime. They have an extensive menu with fish and chips, milkshakes, wraps, soup and other fare. One minor thing is the parking lot was full, sharing space with other businesses in the mini mall. read more

I haven't been here in years, since they first opened (i was in high school). I didn't care for them all those years ago, and to be honest I can't even remember why (likely me just being picky). I went on a whim today and am so happy I did!! I had a spicy chicken burger and it is so good! It came with 2 chicken breasts which were pounded thin which reduces the risk of undercooking and gave it a good texture! The bun was grilled too!! I had the onion rings which were perfect, they are battered not breaded so no roof of mouth cutting thankfully. The fried pickles were so good and crispy and perfectly dill-y. The person who helped me at the front was super nice and made sure my order was correct. Will come back for sure!! read more

Fantastic burgers, and very friendly owners! We stopped by here as this is one of the few restaurants in Duvall, and were surprised at how good the burgers were. Maybe surprised isn't strong enough... Shocked, maybe? Amazing sauce, juicy patties, mushroom and Swiss to die for... Definitely won't be the last time. Honestly, between Small Fries in Fall City and this gem, this part of King County seems to be a veritable burger Shangri-La! Ordered a chicken wrap. Seemed like it was a rather slow day so rather quiet. But when I finally got my chicken wrap. I noticed it was 90%lettuce 9% tortilla and like 1% chicken. Kinda misleading to pay for a chicken wrap with barely any chicken in the wrap. The burgers are consistently good, especially my new favorite, the Turkey burger. The wraps are insanely large, and the subs are good too. The rumor about the quality of burgers at Pickle Time had reached me all the way down in Portland. Road trip! Duvall is a bedroom community east of Seattle, a quiet little burger, with a "main street" (named Main), and some cute little shops, the requisite number of bars, and some other amenities. I drove up and down the length of Main twice before I figured out that I was at the wrong end of the strip. Course correction, I found Pickle Time in no time. I was a bit nervous, really, it was nearly 3pm, and I had horrible visions of Pickle Time being one of those places tha locks the doors right after lunch. But nope! Score! A beautiful smile greeted me as I walked in and perused the lengthy menu board of speciality burgers. I hit on the Blue Cheese, which came with lettuce, tomato, chunky blue cheese dressing, and a red onion slice. I added a side of rings after Ms. "You want booger?" assured me they were made in-house. A bottle of water. Paid. Went to wash my hands. Sat down. Then I spied the pickle jar. Returned to counter. "Want pickle," sez I, and she tonged one out of the jar, and ask me "you want slice?" "Oh yeah." She took it to the kitchen and the massive cuke has been quartered. First bite, almost cried. Second bite, did cry. Now, THIS, was a pickle! Ms Lovely brought the burger and rings, and I dove into them. Rings, superb. Burger? Superber! Hand made patty, (look, you can tell from the pic below), some nice seasoning, a nice char, and gobs of chunky blue cheese. Rings? Crispy, beerish tasting batter, not greasy. I wanted something nostalgic after a really crazy week, and Pickle Time caught my eye on yelp! (I'm a huge fan of fried pickles, but they aren't very common in my experience.) Parking was simple. We waited outside for a moment, masked, until it was our turn to come up to the counter. As countless other reviewers have noted, the woman who seemed to be in charge was just so happy and kind. She spoke incredibly clearly, no small feat through a wall of plexiglass and a mask! We ordered a Texas Burger and a California Burger (upgraded fries to onion rings), with a side of fried pickles. One thing to note is that the current prices are not what I saw posted online. Pricing increased about $2-$2.50 per item (which is not a dig at all - beef prices are way up right now - just a note!) Our burgers and pickles took about 15-20 minutes to come out. We grabbed one of the half dozen outside tables and got comfortable. The food was SO GOOD. Very straightforward, like the best homemade burger, if that makes sense. Not fancy, just meat, wonderbread type bun, canned jalapenos, special sauce.....but it was delicious. Hubs's california burger was delicious as well. We don't get out to Duvall very often, but it's a really fantastic burger and I hope to get back! read more

It is such a nice and friendly place in Duvall. The hamburgers, specially the buns are so tasty. I also love the chocolate Milk shake. The owner is always so nice and friendly. She is always smiling and so happy. The atmosphere is also very cool. There is tons of kids' drawn about "pickles" all over the restaurant. read more

How do you mess up a milk shake? The ice cream there is good but they add so much sugary syrup on top of it you can't even drink it. Everything else we've tried there has been ok. Nothing to make me want to go back again. read more

I have to admit, I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I was told to try Pickle Time. Their employees and the family who owns the company is so kind and friendly with their customers that I feel like an appreciated regular. I absolutely love that they have pickle-themed drawings on their walls. Their booths are a bit worn out but it has a diner/burger joint feel that I appreciate. I also love their clean and roomy bathrooms. This place is wheelchair accessible as well, which I can definitely appreciate. My favorite menu item to order is their French fries! They remind me of the ones sold in Canadian Costco locations which I miss very dearly. It's like a taste from home to a potato lover like me. I would love to see healthy options like a lettuce wrap or gluten-free bun so more people can enjoy this place. I believe it is actually possible if you request it. They do their best to keep their customers happy! read more

Waited 45 minutes for a sandwich. Other people (6 people) who where in line behind me got their food while i was just a simple order to go. Once I got my food, my mozzarella sticks were partly cold. I'll come back in a few months until their service gets better as they have new owners. read more

We stopped in after a bike ride this evening and ordered regular cheeseburgers and fries. I cannot express how much better this burger was compared to everything else out there. We live in Issaquah and everyone tells us about places like Habit Burger. We've tried them all and none of them compare to Pickle Time. The meat was perfectly cooked and juicy. The veggies were fresh and crisp. The fries were not soggy (PLUS!!). Everything here is frozen and deep fried. The menu is ridiculously big and it's all items that they can fry. Pretty gross to be honest. If you're going to eat fried food you Atleast want it to be fried well! The burger was a thin frozen patty...... you can get a real burger down the street ..... I wouldn't go back. read more

The first time I came here was back in 2012. I was so happy to go to Pickle Time again finally in 2022. The restaurant is cute and they have lots of different burgers and tasty sandwiches. I was really surprised when coming in with a well variety of hamburgers and sandwiches. We went for two of them and have to say that both were just delicious. Just as I imagined. Nothing more, nothing less. Well stuffed and accompanied with fried pickles!!! Small tender right in point pickles. I am not a huge fan of them but these were just right! I also had a strawberry banana smoothie. They kindly kept it in the fridge while we waited for the rest of our order. It took a while but we got it! Staff is very friendly and the regular young lady at the front is very patient. She was kinda training another one and kept doing everything!!! Second time we went, there was another lady. A bit rude because she did not hang up the phone when we came in and screamed numbers of orders instead of delivering at out tables. That's why they give us waiting numbers, right? Stopped here while passing through town and ordered a shrimp basket. It was delicious, even though I was surprised when it came out and was coconut shrimp. I didn't remember reading anywhere that it would come out that style but it wasn't disappointing! Fries were good and hot, too. I've ordered several burgers here and they're always great. My only criticism is that I'd want more crisp lettuce, it's been a bit soggy from time to time. Yet I'm still leaving 5 stars because I've never had a bad experience. Crispy fries every time. Great shakes. Good customer service and kind staff. I'll be returning for more!
