I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Not a HUGE selection of clothes; but decent considering it is a boutique. Good variety of brands; there is actually somewhat affordable clothes and jewelry here. I bought a cute pair of non-designer jeans for $75 and a simple but cute top. I agree with other reviewers about the excellent service. The sale rack was pretty sparse when I was here, but maybe better luck next time. Stopped by during their sale. I found some things both on sale and not on sale that were reasonably priced. It's in the hood so it is so convenient to shop there. The person who was helping me (yes it was just yesterday and I forgot her name) suggested a great wrap dress. I have been looking for a wrap that fit well with the right print for a long while. I love it when I find something that I never would have selected on my own but looks great. I highly recommend it and can't think of anything to complain about so I won't. read more

Pickled is a really cute boutique in RWC. They have a nice selection of brand names and no names for a reasonable price. I would recommend this place, especially if you're going to Peet's nearby. While I don't always find a cute outfit there, it's nice to do a walk through. read more

A surprisingly great little store ... in Redwoodd City no less!! I got some great gifts there ... a couple trendy chokers and some classic long-chain necklaces. Didn't have time to try on any clothes but from a quick perusing I was impressed - many of my favorite designer brands and some I'd never seen. I love this store. I'm just under 5 feet but very proportioned and trying to find something to wear that has style and pizzazz is a real challenge. I have found the greatest jeans, tops and coats that make me look taller; but, at the same time preserving my petite frame. Dana, the owner, is very helpful and gives you genuine feedback. They have a variety of clothing to select from and Dana will help you dress your body so it looks great. Like one yelp reviewer said, "A real gem in Redwood City." I have to say it is always a pleasure to shop at Pickled. I have never had the experience of shopping and the best customer service as I have with Ivan. He is a 'STAR". He is so knowledgeable and knows what looks good and does not look good on you. He can put together a complete outfit with accessories and all. You will not get this type of service anywhere. Dana the owner has the best eye and buys the greatest stuff (looking for dresses, they have lots to choose from). I can always find something here and Ivan makes great recommendations. He is very personable and makes shopping here Fun! & satisfying. Who would have known that RWC would have the best boutique on the peninsula. Reading these reviews.... I love this shop and agree with the good things said. But being older and wiser, I realize a few things: I don't want to see a sale rack necessarily because to me that's a sign of a line not selling; I feel embarassed to suck in all the promos and discounts the owner "gives back" to the customers--she works hard and we should realize how such promos take away from her profit margin. I freely shop there at regular price and in fact once I did not even present my promo coupon because the prices are so fair. I feel that customers these days are too stringent on the prices and small store owners have to really struggle with the competition. I want this store to stay in business for a long time!! Such a great little store. The owner is as nice as can be and really knows her fashion. She always has tons of stuff- the thing I hate is when you go into little boutiques and you're done looking in two minutes. She finds a way to pack that store with awesome clothes without making it look cluttered. Every time I go in I have to buy something, even though my budget doesn't love me for it. One last thing. Many boutiques don't carry stuff to fit anyone other than tiny, but she makes sure to stock all sizes! Plus, she's always getting in new clothing and accessories, so you can be sure to find something new even just a few days later. read more

My sister and I get our nails done across the street at Shiny Nails and had to wait a little bit so we dropped into this terrific little shop. I stopped in here on a late on a Sunday afternoon to shop for holiday party attire. The sales woman was very welcoming to me, despite my sloppy attire and less than chic appearance. I am terrible with clothing. I love looking, and fashion mags but rarely actually buy anything except very occasionally yoga pants and hoodies. After five years as a stay at home mom, and before that a nurse wearing scrubs, I have none of the fashionable clothing other ladies around here seem to sport. You know what I mean, skinny jeans, open drapey cardigans, those knee high boots, scarves, piles of diamonds and bangles...the standard peninsula mom look, right? Well if that's how you dress (or aim to) then this is the shop for you! Tons of pretty things, very expensive from my point of view, some costume jewelry earrings for $185?!. This place could save you a drive down to Palo Alto and (the nightmare that is) Stanford Shopping center. read more
