What a great experience! This place was packed today, but the staff were fantastic and incredibly efficient. The service was excellent. We ordered the burger and the steak sandwich, and both were spot on! The meat was cooked perfectly--juicy, flavorful, and delicious. We sat outside, where there were plenty of tables and seating available. It must be a go-to spot at Seaside because, wow, it was crazy busy! They even had a cool wooden pickle with cutouts where kids could take photos, along with plenty of merchandise available for purchase. Pickles is a nice spot with a great location! Location, location, location! We only went for happy hour and enjoyed the outside seating on a nice afternoon. Ok so I LOVE pickles! I consider myself a pickle connoisseur! I mean I currently have 10 different jars in my fridge! We were in Seaside for a bachelorette party and I KNEW I had to stop and get a pickle margarita and I'm sure glad I did! They have a little bar towards the beach and behind the restaurant, you can walk up and take your drink to go! We were there in the summer and it was not a long wait at all so they were quick and the bartenders were hilarious!!! It gives very fun, energetic, beach bar scene! My friend wanted to go here really bad since she's a huge pickle lover. It's right across the street from the seaside shopping areas and is a nice little lunch or dinner place. They mostly have handhelds like burgers and of course fried pickles. They have a pickle margarita and some other varieties as well. I would suggest walking over to the bar and order drinks there instead of the food counter because the staff there may not know much about their bar menu. They have good sides like truffle fries! I also got the pina colada with rum topper but she had given me Malibu. Seating is outdoor, and have very limited indoor seating. Overall, it's a cute place by the beach but nothing screams to me saying "you HAVE to try here". read more

We came here on our way to the beach, as it is located on the beach side of 30A. It happened to be happy hour, which featured fried pickles for $5. There is a stand and a bar, located next to each other. We stood in line for the stand and was told the friend pickles portion of the happy hour was only at the bar. So we walked over there and the line was short so we were able to order quickly. We sat at the tables in between the two places and the food came out quickly (the pickles came from the stand...lol). The fried pickles were good, spear shaped, not chip shaped and that was great. The milkshake we got at the stand was also good. I wish the menus were the same at both. The service was friendly at both places and it is a "bus your own table" situation. read more

Our family is big on fried pickles they're our go-to appetizer just about anywhere we eat out. We came to Pickles a few years ago and the fried pickles were amazing, so I was a little nervous this visit. You know how it is after a great first time, you don't want to be let down. But not this place. The fried pickles were just as we remembered crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I also had a smash burger and it was GREAT. I've seen some low-star reviews about the prices, but honestly, everywhere up and down Seaside from food trucks to small eateries is expensive. The bonus here is that Pickles doesn't automatically add a 15% gratuity like some of the other spots do. From my point of view, if you like fried pickles, this is a must-try. read more

This place is iconic diner food on the beach. Has been here a good while. I love the location that allows you just to watch people. The food is really good. The shrimp basket is fresh and perfectly cooked. I think it might be the best fries I've ever eaten!. The burgers are plentiful and I love the drink fountain that is open for refills to patrons. this is a win as far as the food goes in seaside! The staff seem to be very helpful. Such a fun place on 30A! I was struggling to find vegan options and was so happy that they offered a veggie burger right on the beach at pickles. The burger itself was nothing spectacular, but I got it as the "fried pickle burger" and it was unique and tasty. Overall just impressed that they offered a plant based option, as nowhere in Destin seems to. The Perfectly Pickled cocktail is one of the most fun drinks I have ever had, and was definitely strong enough to feel it but the pickle and spices matches the taste. The vibe is unmatched, with all of the customers buying pickle merch and excitedly showing each other their crazy pickle drinks and items. This is also one of the only places you can see the beach in Seaside and they have a lovely gazebo where you can look at the water. Overall, definitely recommend! read more
