    Burnt home fry's.

Locals with a sense of openness , The fact that a kitchen and a dining area are separate spaces doesn't stop these waitresses from yelling conversations across the restaurant. While they complain about how much they need money and how much they made during a nor'easter. The service is slow and loud the food will lets just say it's extremely well cooked in fact burnt would be a better word. 2 breakfast both meals had Two eggs sausage and toast with burnt home fry's. One coffee and one tea. $40.00. Not including tip. The Loud nonsense conversation was free ! Will I be back ? Only in a pinch !

Came here for breakfast and had a pleasant experience. The place seems unassuming from the outside but is quite nice. They offer a handful of breakfast items that are super fairly priced. I had the Cape Cod Favorite which was really good. The homemade jag (Portuguese rice and beans) was also delicious. Our server was very friendly and food came out so quickly. Would come back.

Fishermans platter (in 2 containers - big portion)

The fried fish was great, and generous portions. Bay scallops get lost in the breading, sea scallops would be so much better. Clams were good but we prefer a lighter breading to what they use. Clam chowder was also great, husband liked it best of anywhere else local (tender clams and no lemony flavor like many others seem to be doing). I'd skip the fisherman's platter next time and stick to fish and chowder.

A little overpriced l. Food is okay and about the quality of a diner. Ambiance is very casual and staff/service was very friendly.

We love the picnic box especially for their breakfast sandwiches! Everything tastes homemade.

Stopped for bfast and coffee on our way to Yarmouth. Service was good but the food wasn't.. The sausage, egg, and cheese on an English muffin was decent. The home fries were awful. I didn't eat them :(. They were under seasoned and undercooked. My bf got the hash and eggs. Canned hash is not my fave so not for me! Most bfast places in Boston make their own and that's pretty much what I expect if it's the SAME price. The coffee was also terrible. It came to $23 for everything which seemed overpriced for what we got (quality and quantity).

Great omelet! Lots of bacon and great cheese. Waitress was a bit moody, or I'd give 5 stars.

Spend half of your toxic energy on your restaurant and it would surely improve :). The service was great, but unfortunately the food did not meet expectations. As a restaurant known for its pancakes, I was very disappointed in the quality of them. I had really high hopes for them especially as they were a major pregnancy craving, but they were not fluffy nor very tasty. I've had much better pancakes at chain restaurants or even at home unfortunately. We also got the philly steak omelet and lobster eggs benedict, which were just ok. Additionally a $6.50 side of bacon came with just a couple limp, greasy pieces. The restaurant is a little tight too and it feels like everyone around you is right on top of you. I wish I was a fan as most everyone else seems to be, but I can't get there. With so many options in the area, we'll try something else next time.

The cookie was good but very generic, tasted like a cookie I could get anywhere, nothing special. For $4 the size was worth it but not the taste. The breakfast burrito was okay as well. It had steak, cheese, egg, onions, peppers, and mushrooms. For $10 it was pretty hefty but it should be maybe $8. What really lowered the rating was that it wasn't really a coffee shop. They only had plain iced and hot coffee, cold brew, and espresso. No flavors and you had to put the creamer and sugar in yourself. The service was quick though. Very small shop inside with what looked like a lot of options. If I lived here I wouldn't have the desire to go back.

The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful- two was definitely enough but the third is only $1 more. They put chocolate chips into the batter but also on top for maximum chocolateyness. They told us it would take about 20 minutes to get a table for 2 which makes sense on a Sunday morning in the summer, and it was a pretty accurate estimate. It took a while to get the food, about 35 minutes from when we ordered. The wait to get on the waitlist was interesting because I think the checkout computer for the bakery is also where waiters and waitresses have to put in orders, verbally with whoever is there. There was a line of us waiting to put our names down/check in while a waitress had to read out three tables' orders to be entered on the tablet. We'd been done eating for about 10 minutes and sat waiting for the check, unsure if we were supposed to checkout at the computer or if they'd bring a check. We flagged down our waitress to ask and she told us we could pay at the counter (glad we asked!) We had what I'd consider the best table in the house: a corner two-top! I didn't feel cramped or overwhelmed but I think I might have at a lot of the other tables here. They make the most of their space but I can see where it could be a little claustrophobic. All in all, it's not a quick stop per se but the food is great and we love supporting small businesses!
