This is a great hole-in-wall place. I come here pretty regularly for lunch. There is an extra care and quality they bring to the food. It's consistent and it is a way better option than traditional fast food. My daughter who is 9 and a picky eater loves the chicken and green beans. While the menu is pretty small, if you're looking for some good chicken, this is the place. If you get a chicken meal, it comes with two sides and is the best deal for the money. My girlfriend got the meal with black beans and rice and sweet plantains. I got the Pico Rojo Chicken Sandwich with fried yucca. The chicken was so well-cooked that it was almost creamy (?) and the yucca was excellently fried. The house sauce goes well with everything. I also had a dessert empanada which was a wonderful mix of salty, fried, and sweet. If you want a good, $10 chicken lunch, go for the main meal, and avoid the pricey extra sides and desserts (though they are all good!). read more
