Consistent bad service. This is my second time here. Today I stood in line for 1hr. I know why did I stay in line... Kids wanted pizza and it was cold. Line was almost out door so I expected 30 min... I finally get towards the front and we are standing there. There were three people taking pie orders and then there was one. One boy was running around panicking saying they had a phone order for 20 pies... Everyone left this girl. She is standing there cleaning the pie counter waiting on help. The manager (I assume) is in the back on his cell phone texting. No one says "sorry for the wait, be right with you"... I finally order food 45 minutes later... And the pizzas are coming out burnt.. I tell them maybe they need to adjust. They say no it's supposed to be like this, it's always this way. I say bull take my pizza out now I don't want burnt crust. I'm irritated. No one says i'm sorry you had to wait. Where is the manager? Where is the customer service? Second time I've had to wait here due to inadequate staff and training. I am NOT coming back here. Worst pizza ever. Undercooked pizza dough. Honestly frozen pizza is better than this place!

This was my second visit here. The first time it was exceptionally good for what you expect. This time however, the whole place smelled like someone had taken their shoes off or to put it bluntly, it smelled like "ass" in there. I said something to the workers and they blew it off saying I don't smell anything followed by I'll tell my manager. That just translated to I don't care. The smell was overwhelming at the door and it did not dissipate when I approached the counter. Something had spoiled behind the counter and the employees had not a care in the world. I probably shouldn't haven't eaten here but I just wanted a pizza that was simple and easy. If I come back a third time and the smell is still here, then I will update this and take my appetite elsewhere. read more

I have been to this location before, but the last two times were not good. We went today and the restaurant was filthy. The trash cans were overflowing, the women's bathroom was disgusting, there was a random spill in front of the register that had splattered. Their method of cleanup was a rag that was put on the floor then pushed up against the counter out of the way. Additionally, my pizza was not very good. Edible, but not worth writing home about. I feel like maybe management has changed or something. It's just a bunch of young kids behind the counter and they are INCREDIBLY slow. There were two families (a family of 3 and a family of 4) in front of me and it literally took 15 minutes before they even took my order. This restaurant really needs to pay more attention to the details on the other side of the counter, like cleaning tables, sweeping, checking the bathrooms as well as the drink area. This place has good pizza but it has gotten so dirty. The floors, the kitchen area is just a mess. Sorta worried to eat here any more.

My group felt Pie Five is a good value. The young staff is helpful as they assist you in selecting the type crust and toppings as you move down the cafeteria style line. Side salads are made to order. it can be noisy with all the kids, but it's fine for what amounts to a fast food restaurant. The pizza and salad were both surprisingly tasty. read more

Just got back and they messed up both my wife's and my orders. Their people (kids) were more interested in talking with their friends/fellow employees that come in. First, they messed up my wife's pizza by not mixing the pesto sauce before squirting on pizza then they followed that up by leaving mine in the oven and burning it. Of course, the friend and her boyfriend behind us got their pizzas right and BEFORE us, which led to mine getting burnt. My suggestion - go to an actual pizza place that is run by professionals that care about their paying customers and not socializing. NEVER GOING BACK! read more

While they have quite a variety of toppings & sauces, which were tasty, the artisan thin crust & pan crusts BOTH were like eating cardboard. The "magic dust" which is supposedly parmesan, romano and italian seasoning, tasted like they dumped 2 tablespoons of salt on my pie. I have a new favorite pizza place! It's great to be able to supervise the making of your own pizza without having to worry about putting on an ingredient that someone in your party doesn't like. I like lots of veggies on mine, but usually when I have a pizza I don't get to have them. Today I was in pizza heaven! I had the thin artisan crust with extra regular (they have spicy jalapeno as well) marinara sauce, pepperoni, garlic, spinach, roasted cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, and two different kinds of olives, and I didn't have to pay extra for each topping either! How neat is that? There were four of us in our party, and everyone's pizza was totally different from everyone else's! They have so many different kinds of meats and veggie toppings, and you can have as many as you want for one flat price. One other thing I liked was the cheese, a mixture of mozzarella and provolone, which added a nice richness. They also have salads for those who don't choose to put their veggies on their pizza, and they have desserts. One last thing that made my trip enjoyable was the unsweetened ginger peach green tea. Loved it! I only wish there was one of these closer to me. Please put one in the Arlington area. Frisco is a long way for me. Place was dirty , there four employees behind counter directly in front while I was paying for our food . There was a three self cart full of prepared dough in uncovered pizza pans, they were stacked full on the three self cart. There was a employee sweeping the floor vigorously toward the cart ( these open top pans full of pizza dough were less than a foot off the floor ) I said where do you think all the dust is going from your sweeping. The other lady which looked to be a lead got mad and said I'll move them. She did ,she now put covers on them and stacked them up to be used for your Pizza. The next time you go in maybe you'll be able to taste the dirt in your pizza. I had two other customers tell me -Thank you for saying something! This was my first visit and last visit. this place is awful. went thru the process of ordering my pizza and side salad. had ti wait until all employees clocked out and clocked in before my pizza was boxed. owner tried to charge me for a classic italian salad which includes chicken. after 15 minutes of employees clocking in and out, pizza was finally boxed up. side salad was made and ask if tye balasmic could be put on the side. Lord and behold, you would've thought i ask the employee to cut off his arm. Let me know that isnt allowed....manager standing there still trying to figure out my order. 1 pizza, with side salad. first tried to charge me over $19 and told me nope. here's what i ordered it no where does it cost that much. First time trying out this place since the hubby went to the location in plano and was very impressed. We've been going to blaze pizza since they offer vegan cheese for my hubby since they opened. As we entered, the place was not busy at all. I noticed that the only employees were mostly young teenagers and the young man who made our pizza didn't seem to want to be there, as he didn't once say hello as we walked in or made much of an effort in being friendly, or caring to be for the least part. There was only one other girl I saw that was out front helping and the rest of the employees were in the back. I also noticed that none of the items to put on your pizza were labeled, seemed very disorganized and the ingredients were not very fresh looking and then after seeing the young man who helped build my pizza go in the back with his left hand down in his pants, I was really wondering if I should eat the pizza, and if it hadn't been for the use of gloves, I probably wouldn't have. I will not ever come back to THIS location and most likely may stick to blaze pizza. This place needs some help and soon! read more

At first I was going to give 4 stars, because 5 stars is like.... out of this world (every, impossible, craving satisfied, Ryan Gosling serving me, etc.) But then I remembered it's a pizza joint and for a pizza joint, it's 5 stars. So, anyway- I stopped by today for lunch. I got there around 3pm and got a pizza, caesar salad & drink! It was my first time ever. I was greeted by the manager, who was so welcoming. The entire staff was nice and accommodating. Food was delicious. I asked for a bag because, there was NO way I would eat an entire 12 inch pizza (I'm 5'2, 125 lbs)... yeah, I ate it all. Pleasant, CLEAN environment with tvs and also there's a bar but I had school not to long after and wasn't able to check that out. Cleanliness is always so important to me and it was clean. Pie 5 and Blaze share the same concept: choose one of their pizzas or build your own, all for one price. They offer a variety of pizza crusts - deep dish, thin crust and their new Neapolitan included. My husband and daughter chose the thin crust - I thought this was a little too thin and crispy so I went with the Neapolitan which proved to be a good choice for me, nice and light still but with a bite to it. Toppings and sauce options are varied, but not as plentiful as Blaze - no blue or goats cheese, no chorizo and fewer other options too. My husband opted for the house BBQ pizza, my daughter had plain cheese and I of course went for broke and built my own pizza, with spicy sauce, pepperoni, Italian sausage, bacon, Klamath olives, peppers, tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms and spinach. After the pizzas are cooked they offer a variety of finishing touches - I opted for their special dust, pesto drizzle and feta cheese. (Why not?) The pizza was very good, I loved my Neapolitan crust and the spicy sauce and pepperoni were the standout ingredients. Of the two, I prefer Blaze as they offer more selections but this is another great spot for a quick inexpensive family lunch or dinner and the staff are very friendly (which is not always the case at Blaze, where my endless list of ingredients has earned me a few hard stares once or twice). read more
