A great slice of pepperoni pizza nowadays can be underrated with all the options out there- but boy oh boy this hit the jack-SPOT Extra crispy crust- but strong enough to handle all of the zesty flavors- not greasy at all- clean, crispy, crave-worthy crust. Hubby and I were tired of the usual dominos (which has went downhill) so we decided to try Zalat pizza. Very disappointed. Paid 26 bucks for a very mediocre large "zalat" pizza. It was Luke warm which was surprising being that I had waited over 20 minutes for it to come out of the oven. There were plenty of toppings but they all lacked flavor and there was hardly any sauce or cheese. I also saw the cook who was making the pizzas smoking a vape in the kitchen while working. My boyfriend and I tried this out last night and it was solid! Not the best I've ever had but not the worst. I got the meatza and added onions, and he got the buffalo chicken pizza. Interestingly enough, I preferred the buffalo chicken pizza. It had an awesome bleu cheese ranch drizzled on top and ordinarily I HATE bleu cheese, so this was definitely a nice surprise! They have a sriracha/ranch dip that comes with each pizza and I didn't really enjoy it, which was weird because I love sriracha and ranch, on their own, and even mixed together, but something about whatever they did with this one, just wasn't my favorite. All in all, it was pretty good and I wouldn't mind having it again. However, I don't see myself going out of my way to come back here. read more

Don't underestimate the sheer size of an 18" pizza. I got the Zealot in that size and it was wonderfully made with huuuge slices! I took the Reaper Roulette challenge with my pesto veggie pizza. I could distinguish which one it was just barely but only because my pizza wasn't red enough to hide it! The "normal" slices had a perfect balance of flavor, not overdoing the balsamic. The spicy slice was pretty reminiscent of how I dump crushed red pepper on pizza normally when a restaurant offers it... that is, it's not as insanely spicy as I anticipated. I have a high spice tolerance, though. It does lightly burn for a good 5 min. I loved the uniqueness of such a challenge and the spice didn't take away from the flavor! Also got their cheesy app and was a little underwhelmed BUT it's a good follow up to an ultra spicy slice of pizza if you need it, lol! I'm used to heavier cheese bread appetizers and this one is comparatively lighter feelin, which I can appreciate. The sriracha ranch is pretty good! I am bummed. I love Zalat when we order it downtown. We order it all the time in our Deep Ellum office. I was excited about it when I found out that they opened up in Frisco. We just ordered some for delivery and what we received was on a Zalat box, but it was nothing like what we get downtown. The two pizzas had 1/2 toppings that we normally get downtown. Two slices of the Meatza had ZERO pepperoni. I even paid for various extra toppings, expecting it to be a little more hearty. But no. Really dissatisfied with this experience. After curious opening crowds last month, things seem to have settled down now. As first time customers, we ordered from their very professional on-line system for delivery to our car. All went smoothly. The system said our order would be ready at 6:47, and it was. The pizzas are very good and are a good choice for an easy to use neighborhood place for pick up only. On the box they wrote "If you don't like your pizza you can slap Raven in the face". Raven made the pizza. A little humor that maybe not every customer would appreciate. Interesting. For all of you complainers...you may have eaten so many frozen pizzas in your life that you don't know what real pizza tastes like anymore. Coming from a family who made pizzas from scratch every weekend this has got to be the closest to my momma's pizza! You have a customer for life! We were traveling through Frisco and stopped by. Not the worst pizza I've ever had but definitely not the best. First, don't waste your time trying to order through Grubhub. Even though they show up on Grubhub, and I was allowed to place an order, my order was cancelled without notification. When I called to ask, the manager said they only used DoorDash and Uber Eats for delivery. They didn't bother telling the Grubhub driver either, because he showed up to get the order, only to find out the order had been cancelled. So I ordered through DoorDash, and it went through fine. Even though delivery showed 45-55 mins, after close to 40 mins, I got a text from the Dasher saying he had been waiting at the restaurant for 10 mins already. Another 15 mins go by, and he lets me know he's got the pizza and is on his way. So 40 mins plus another 25 mins before he gets the pizza. Unfortunately, the issues other mentioned about the long wait times appear to still be evident. The Dasher gets to my house fairly fast, and we dig in. The NYC pizzas look ok, but they definitely don't have the high grease drippage factor you expect with NYC pizza. Even reheating, it was just fair. You can fold the slices, but the crust almost has a cracker consistency to it. Pizza was ok, but really nothing to rave about. Flavor is fair. Considering the pizzas are $15-18 each, I would expect taste to be better. Again, it was fair, but probably wouldn't order again with other NYC style pizza places around that seem much more like the real thing. read more

Newly open in our neighborhood so we tried it out this weekend. They have definitely mastered the thin crust. Love the humor they have built into their business plan. Pizza was really good. Probably one of the better options in the area. Will definitely order it again. Next time I'll order double pepperoni cause we felt it needed a bit more! We are glutinous, I mean gluttonous I guess (see what I did there?). This is a perfect folding pizza if you get the 18". As a former New Yorker, I can appreciate that. I usually don't leave reviews, but I felt the need to inform my fellow gluten-free pizza eaters about this place. I ordered a gluten-free pizza here last week. I don't have high expectations for gluten-free pizza at all, but this was beyond bad. The crust was guey/gummy, the sauce was non-existent, as in I pulled back the cheese to inspect and I could not find any proof of existing sauce, the toppings (at $2.25 per each) consisted of maybe 7 pepperoni slices, the equivalent of two button mushrooms sliced paper thin, and a meager sprinkling of olives. The pizza cost around $23 which is far more than I expected. As much as I hate to waste food, after one slice the rest went in the garbage. The gluten-free pizza is far better at Mod, Blaze, Dominos, ect, even frozen from the grocery store. Don't bother wasting your money ordering it here. read more

This pizza is so underrated. I used to always order from the Plano location and so glad one opened in Frisco across from my job. It really is the perfect combination of pepperonis, cheese, slight grease, and the best srirancha sauce. The 18" can definitely feed at least 3 people but it's hard to stop eating it once you've had a bite because it is THAT good! It's for sure my go to pizza! read more
