Another pic of sisters customized pizza
    Mandy T.

Literally amazing. Maybe I think so because I'm not much of a picky eater, but this place definitely deserves more stars than they have! My mom and sisters had a hard time as there are so many places to eat in the area, but I'm glad we chose this spot. The employees were kind and with a smile throughout our whole order process. I ordered a BBQ Chicken pizza while my mom and sisters customized theirs.

We had a quick layover and needed something to eat before our 5hr flight to Hawaii. The staff was friendly and I thought the pizza tasted better then expected. It was actually pretty good. Ya a little pricey at $19.57 but that is airport price. It kept me full for the entire flight. I would order it again the next time I'm at the airport.

Hey--why is vegan cheese +$2, impossible meatballs +$2, & if I don't get meat at all, it costs the same? I can't even get more veg. :( You're up charging vegans $4 for helping save the planet & animals--and folks with allergies. It's weird. Maybe share the costs across all your customers? The pizza was good but $4 more expensive--I didn't get the meatballs on principle.

Nice and crispy, just as requested.

I almost didn't go here to grab a layover meal after reading all the Yelp reviews, but thanks to everyone putting in their two cents, I was able to make an informed decision about what/how to order! I started by asking for the traditional crust and marinara sauce for my pizza. After that, I added fresh veggies like spinach, olives, and onions to the mozzarella. Since many previous reviewers noted that their pizzas seemed underdone, I asked if I could have it a bit more crispy and they said it wasn't a problem. After a few minutes, the pizza was done. However, in the meantime I noted that they also had kalamata olives, so I asked if they could put a handful on top of the pizza to finish it off. They added the olives as requested, which I really appreciated. The pizza crust was nice and crispy, so I could pick up the slices without everything falling off. Yes, the pizza is a bit expensive, but for make-it-your-way airport pizza, I was pleased with the experience. The pizza was made exactly how I wanted it and it tasted great.

For Gluten Free airport pizza it wasn't half bad to be honest. Cost me about $20 but that's expected for airport prices. The lady who prepared it was very nice and asked if she needed to change her gloves and didn't hesitate to pile on the cheese which most places do. The woman at the register was not so kind and was irritated and treating people like cattle. She called out to a family that theirs was ready and they didn't hear her so she started slapping the top of the pizza boxes to get their attention and became agitated easily. I get you deal with a lot of people throughout the day and especially travelers who probably don't understand English but after I got my pizza I was scared to ask for a water lolololol

The pizza doesn't cook long enough. It's not very hot when it comes out of the oven and it's definitely not crispy. If it cooked longer it would be much better. The toppings are pretty fresh. I wish they had sauces for this pizza like garlic sauce, etc. Not impressed, but if you're craving pizza it'll do the job. I'll go somewhere else next time.

As good as airport food gets. Really friendly staff and several mix and match options. Tired their veggie options on a thin crisp crust and the thing turned out quite good. Tip: tomatoes are notorious for not cooking too well in these "drive-by" type ovens - so recommend you skip them form the toppings.

Solid pie. A bit pricy but it's SF

I love having the Ellen pizza and a beer each time I visit. This time, I ordered the Ellen and the Mushroom pizza. The mushroom pizza was on the "sweet" side. The mushroom pizza seemed like it was very sparse on ingredients, never again. I always ask for crispy but not burnt. I also take my leftovers home in a nice "to go" box for evening snack or lunch the next day. Service is fast, friendly and efficient. Thank You for the yummy pizzas each time! See you next time! :0)

I was planning to order a whole pie, but since it was our first time there, I wanted to try more than one kind. Thankfully, The Pizza Shop was happy to accommodate. We ordered a pie that was half Cherry Pepper and Pesto and half White Spinach. My date and I really enjoyed both pizzas. I don't think I've eaten a lot of cherry peppers in my life - they are spicy! The Pizza Shop doesn't mess around - their pies are huge. We ate two slices each and I grabbed a box for the leftovers. The atmosphere is noteworthy: there is a pinball machine and the music is a little bit loud, but we were able to have a conversation without much difficulty. I would not hesitate to return to The Pizza Shop.

The crust is thin, foldable, and just the right amount of crispy with that great chewy bite. The cheese and sauce are perfectly balanced -nothing overly greasy or heavy, just classic, satisfying flavor. Super quick and friendly service, with a no-frills vibe that lets the pizza speak for itself. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or a whole pie to share, this place always hits the spot! There is plenty of seating (and a beautiful interior with lots and lots of gorgeous green plants) if you want to hang out there too!

We ordered the Garden Pizza and the Chicken Garlic Pizza. The Garden Pizza had a light, fresh flavor, and I loved all the vegetables on it. When we arrived, our waitress didn't seem very knowledgeable about the beers, but honestly, that wasn't a big deal. My boyfriend ordered his pizza while I was still deciding what I wanted. His pizza came out very quickly, which we had no complaints about. The issue started when we had barely been seated for about 15 minutes. I went to the restroom, and while I was gone, the waitress approached my boyfriend while he literally had pizza in his mouth and a full beer in front of him and told him, "My chef said to charge you." He was confused but said okay because it made us wonder if they were closing. I checked the hours, and they weren't supposed to close until 10 PM--it was barely around 9 PM. I HADN'T EVEN ORDERED MY FOOD YET. I was still planning on ordering my own pizza, dessert, and a drink. Instead, we suddenly felt like we were being rushed to pay and leave. What made the situation even more unprofessional was that she left the payment device at our table for Apple Pay and then actually left the restaurant. She was the only server we had seen around, so we were basically left sitting there with the payment device and no server. We eventually had to get up ourselves to find someone so we could ask for boxes and return their payment device. No one had even asked whether we needed boxes, wanted anything else, or were finished ordering. My boyfriend didn't even finish his beer because at that point the entire vibe had changed and we just wanted to leave. We had driven an hour specifically to try this restaurant and were genuinely excited about it, which made the experience even more disappointing. I completely understand if a server's shift is ending, but there is a professional way to handle that--especially when customers are still actively eating and one person at the table hasn't even ordered yet. Someone could have simply explained that her shift was ending and introduced whoever would be taking over our table. Instead, we were made to feel like we needed to pay and leave. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the experience. We really wanted to like this place, but being treated this way after driving an hour to come here was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
