Farmer's Market & Slice of Pepperoni.
    Sophie V.

TLDR: ONE OF THOSE BITES YOU DON'T FORGET! Getting good pizza has been difficult ever since I tried Slice House (nothing will ever beat it) but this comes SUPER close. I got the farmer's market slice & the lunch lady. All slices FULLY DRESSED (ranch, hot honey, oil) is a must. Farmer's Market (ricotta, cauliflower, garlic): I ascended after this bite. Super yummy and flavorful. Bummed it's one of their temporary/rotating slices :( Lunch Lady: It was good but I didn't really taste the vodka sauce. I loved the thick cut and crunchy crust/soft inner slice. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the bathroom was clean (something I appreciate in the city lol). Love the hip/chic vibe, artwork, and music also! WILL DEF BE COMING BACK!

Came here for lunch while in town. The place rules. Very relaxed vibes. Counter space with some stools. Clean. Good service and pizza was made quickly. The pizza was fantastic. Peking duck is worth the hype. Get some nice crisp and crunch from the shallots. The crust goes incredibly hard. Still very light and chewy. Gotta go here.

Fantastic pizza slices! The thin crust was perfectly balanced. We got the burrata with hot honey, the farmers market (ricotta, cauliflower, garlic), and shroom slices. My favorite was the farmers market because it was so unique and flavorful. I even got hints of bacon even though there was none. The hot honey burrata was a close second! I do wish there were more than two small leaves of basil though. There's some seating inside but it may be limited.

Great selection if you just want a slice! Clean and friendly. The surrounding neighborhood can feel a bit rough if you are not familiar with the Civic Center neighborhood.

"Casual but intentional" vibe: SF artisan slice. Heavy fluffy snow-like cheese on top adds a salty airy finish without weighing the slice down. This is my favorite Civic center area pizza

This was my second time eating Outta Sight, but this time the pizza was delivered to us. We had four different 18-inch XL pizzas (8 slices each): Pepperoni, Ruby (creamy vodka sauce, marinara, and pesto), Chicken Tinga (oven-baked shredded chicken, tomato-chipotle sauce, pickled red onions, and spicy salsa verde), and Hot Burrata (garlic, mozzarella, hot coppa, yellow onion, burrata, and hot honey). When we opened all four pizza boxes, they looked very similar, and it was difficult to tell which pizza was which. Interestingly, the pizza boxes did not have the Outta Sight Pizza name or logo on them. I actually had to ask the host where she ordered the pizza from. All four thin-crust pizzas were good, although some slices were a little hard to chew or bite into. The pizzas were not greasy, and the spicy pizzas were not overly spicy. I do wish there had been more meat, especially the chicken and pepperoni. Overall, I liked the pizza, but I can't say it's the best pizza I've ever eaten.

We stopped by Outta Sight recently to try the sandwiches as I've heard they're even better than the pizzas! We got the sandwich special *the hard french* and regular meatball sub. Loved, loved the meatball sub! Even as someone who's normally not a sandwich fan, this was delicious and I appreciated the mozz and arugula to balance out the rich meatballs. The marinara on the side was super tasty and flavorful - great poured over the sandwich. Their take on a french dip has short rib, provolone, crispy shallots, french onion dip with jus on the side. Loved the provolone, french onion dip combo with the meat as the cheese and sauce gave the meat a boost which was a bit dry by itself. Jus was great for dipping in. The sandwiches are huge for $20 and big enough to share! My partner and I got 2 and we still had half a sandwich left between the 2 of us. Definitely would recommend! Pro-tip they also take orders over the phone if you're looking to skip the line.

Heard this place is one of the best pizza in SF so I had to come check it out. Came on a Wednesday night and it wasn't busy at all. Had my guard up because it's in the Tenderloin, but wasn't too busy. Got a deep dish pepperoni pizza which was good. The pizza was light and crispy but wasn't fully warmed up. Love the decor inside with really cool paintings and art. For me this place is good, but I wouldn't go out my way if I wanted pizza.

Fantastic slices of pizza. Had Outta Sight on the bookmarks for quite a while and managed to stop by over the holiday weekend. Plenty of pizza options by the slice, 30ish min wait for a full pie. But with slices that big, you won't need the latter. Service is super chill. Order at the counter and they'll heat up & dress your slices within minutes. Not a whole lot lot of seating inside, but enough for a slowish day. I had the Ruby (pesto, vodka sauce, marinara) and the Pepperoni slices. Staff topped both off with fresh basil & grated parmesan. I'm not usually a thin-slice guy. I love a big ol fluffy Detroit, Sicilian, or puffy crust wrapped around my teeth. However, they do thin-slice pizza justice here. Holds its weight when folded, not super topped to keep things balanced, and my favorite detail the burnt crust contrasting the sharp tomato sauce. Looking forward to try their other location & other pizza variations. 4/5, would return. Extra star for overall experience

Always a solid visit to get my slice on! Got me a pep and it was hot n crispy as usual, these guys are consistently good! Love the crispy charred thin crust, flavors on point. They get the job done and quickly, I get me in n out in no time! Thanks for the work guys, I appreciate ya'll!

The pizzas here are really good and out of this world. Definitely a place to come back to. Compared to the other location, I found that the service here was better and it is much more spacious for friends and family. Unfortunately, both locations have very different menus. If you are looking for the more creative and innovative slices like the peking duck, this is NOT the location. However, the options they have here are pretty good. I personally prefer the other location for their pizza options. If you do stop by, get the pepperoni with burrata and hot honey. You won't regret it!!

I stopped by this location after visiting SF city hall. It's just a few blocks away. I was hoping to get some duck, but this location does not have duck! Apparently, only the Chinatown branch has it. Kind of disappointed. Anyway, I decided to try their other slices of pizza instead. The flavor felt a bit flat, and the tomato sauce ratio was on the lighter side. I get that too much sauce can make the crust soggy, but this ended up tasting a little dry and under seasoned. I definitely felt like it fell short. The shop itself is really cute! There are plenty of seating inside. Also, it took a little while for someone to come up to the counter to ring us up.

Closest to the camera is lamb, peking, then tikka masala for the thing slice.

Chill place to eat some pizza. Staff were friendly. Pizza was yummy!! Lamb chomp - very yummy and the lamb is not that gamey. Favorite one would get more Peking - least favorite don't like how it's sweet (it felt like a diluted hoisen but i like to control how much I put on) Tikka masala- second favorite also flavorful

Service was generally polite but a bit sparse given how busy it was. I specifically asked whether the kids' pizzas were small personal sizes or large enough to share, and was told they were personal-sized. Unfortunately, we ended up with more food than we could realistically finish and essentially paid for a pizza that went to waste, which was frustrating. The food itself didn't quite meet expectations based on the reviews. One of our pizzas also came out slightly undercooked, but the kids were too tired for us to send it back and wait for a remake, so we just made do. Overall, the experience was just okay, especially compared to other pizza spots we tried during our trip. After visiting places like Tony's, which we loved, this one fell short for us. The restaurant was busy and had a decent energy, and others may have a better experience depending on timing. For us, though, it's not a place we'd return to.

The entire pizza had shifted in the box, slices were folded over, grease was splattered all over the lid, and it was no longer hot by the time it arrived. What made this even more frustrating was the amount paid for delivery. In addition to the food cost, I paid a $3.99 delivery fee, a $5.70 service fee, and tipped the driver $5.50. For that kind of added cost, I think it's reasonable to expect the pizza to arrive level, intact, and hot. The restaurant is about 4 miles from my house, and it appeared the delivery was made by bicycle, which may explain why the pizza ended up tilted and damaged during transport. I can't say that for certain, but something clearly went wrong between the restaurant and my door. The pizza itself may have been good fresh out of the oven, but the delivery experience completely ruined it.

I get it. But hear me out. The XL pizzas at 20 inches are a real extra large, nothing like those precious little artisan cuts you get at a lot of SF pizza spots. I've had the Combo Americano and the Traditional Pepperoni and Italian Sausage and both have been outstanding. Chances are you're walking away with leftovers, so the math starts making more sense when you think about it that way. Fair warning to your delivery driver, a 20 inch box is no joke to navigate, but it arrives intact and holds up remarkably well for delivery. That alone says something about the quality. And do yourself a favor, tip them a little extra for hauling something this large to your door. Is it as special as sitting down at Tony's in North Beach with a fresh pie in front of you? Probably not. But it's the closest thing you can get without actually being there, and that's saying a lot. They do have an antipasto menu, but I have to be honest, who goes to a famous pizza place and doesn't order pizza? If you want to impress someone with what San Francisco has to offer in the pizza department and you're willing to splurge for a guaranteed great meal, this is your answer. No gambles, no disappointments. Just really good pizza at your door. For $60 you already know what you're getting, and that peace of mind is worth something too.
