We came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. There was no wait and we were able to order pretty quickly. One thing to note is that there is limited seating and this seems like a more of a grab and go kind of spot. We ordered a slice of Ruby, Hot Burrata, Chicken Tinga, and the Madonna. My favorites were definitely the Hot Burrata as the pepperoni was nice and crunchy and a nice combo with the hot honey - the pizza was hot and spicy and the Chicken Tinga - especially the green sauce on top was sour and delicious! I felt the Ruby was a bit dry and I wasn't able to taste the spicy vodka sauce which was a bit of a bummer as I was looking forward to it. The Madonna was pretty good and saucy. Overall, I was hoping to enjoy my food more, but I will be back to try other flavors. read more

If you like NY style pizza and need to grab a bite to eat before a show at bill graham, this is the perfect spot! I tried the puttanesca and chicken tinga. The puttanesca had a very nice bright taste thanks to the capers. The brine wasn't overpowering the other aromatics. My favorite was the chicken tinga! This was my second time eating Outta Sight, but this time the pizza was delivered to us. We had four different 18-inch XL pizzas (8 slices each): Pepperoni, Ruby (creamy vodka sauce, marinara, and pesto), Chicken Tinga (oven-baked shredded chicken, tomato-chipotle sauce, pickled red onions, and spicy salsa verde), and Hot Burrata (garlic, mozzarella, hot coppa, yellow onion, burrata, and hot honey). When we opened all four pizza boxes, they looked very similar, and it was difficult to tell which pizza was which. Interestingly, the pizza boxes did not have the Outta Sight Pizza name or logo on them. I actually had to ask the host where she ordered the pizza from. All four thin-crust pizzas were good, although some slices were a little hard to chew or bite into. The pizzas were not greasy, and the spicy pizzas were not overly spicy. I do wish there had been more meat, especially the chicken and pepperoni. Overall, I liked the pizza, but I can't say it's the best pizza I've ever eaten. read more

We stopped by Outta Sight recently to try the sandwiches as I've heard they're even better than the pizzas! We got the sandwich special *the hard french* and regular meatball sub. Loved, loved the meatball sub! Even as someone who's normally not a sandwich fan, this was delicious and I appreciated the mozz and arugula to balance out the rich meatballs. The marinara on the side was super tasty and flavorful - great poured over the sandwich. Their take on a french dip has short rib, provolone, crispy shallots, french onion dip with jus on the side. Loved the provolone, french onion dip combo with the meat as the cheese and sauce gave the meat a boost which was a bit dry by itself. Jus was great for dipping in. The sandwiches are huge for $20 and big enough to share! My partner and I got 2 and we still had half a sandwich left between the 2 of us. Definitely would recommend! But with slices that big, you won't need the latter. Service is super chill. Order at the counter and they'll heat up & dress your slices within minutes. Not a whole lot lot of seating inside, but enough for a slowish day. I had the Ruby (pesto, vodka sauce, marinara) and the Pepperoni slices. Staff topped both off with fresh basil & grated parmesan. I'm not usually a thin-slice guy. I love a big ol fluffy Detroit, Sicilian, or puffy crust wrapped around my teeth. However, they do thin-slice pizza justice here. In my opinion, the BEST pizza in SF. If you're a fan of NY style pizza, you have to try this spot. I believe they have 2 locations around the city. Super laid back/casual spot with quick friendly service. I've had it both by the slice in-store and ordered full pies for delivery... it never disappoints. I always go for the classic pepperoni. The pepperonis are exactly how they should be: small, spicy little cups, and super generous with the toppings. I always add ranch and hot honey on the side (non-negotiable). Hands down the best slice of pizza I've had. It's in tenderloin so I went during the daytime for lunch. The streets were a bit sketchy but the store itself is very clean, punk, and modern. The staff was very friendly and I think the chef himself was there handling the requests. I got a slice of pepperoni fully dressed and everything about it is perfect. I'm not sure if the pizza itself is amazing or the "fully dressed" is the magic sauce but go get it you won't regret it! Hands down one of the best pizzas in San Francisco. Outta Sight never misses to impress me! I always go for the pepperoni pizza and they always do it right. I love their unique pizza flavors which I've ordered delivery of (though the Peking Duck and butter chicken flavors are only at their Chinatown location.) I went to eat in-person at lunch with my cousin who lives nearby after our aunt sent us an article about the best sandwiches in SF. I was all, "I know that place! But they mainly do pizza!" We both got their famous meatball sandwich which had been on that SFGate/Eater article. It was ginormous and delicious, lots of flavorful and seasoned meat. They made their own bread whose exterior had a nice crispy crunch and the interior was tastefully saucy and oily inside, covered in marinara sauce. The service was wonderful (which wasn't easy despite there being a very large lunch line of SF City employees who've been called back to the office.) I love the ambiance which seems like an ode to SF with cool comic book trinkets and figurines and fun art. It's a fun place and I will keep coming back. read more

In addition to thin New York style pizza, there's also a few flavors that are made deep dish, Detroit style. My friends and I stopped by Outta Sight Pizza to try out their Peking duck pizza but were disappointed to find out that that flavor is only served out of their Chinatown location. We ended up trying four different slices, but the one that was most memorable to me was the BLT -- a slice finished with shredded lettuce and crema after it's been heated in the oven. In the absence of ranch, the crema was a nice substitute to bring creaminess and some moisture to the pizza. I really like that the slices are garnished after they've been re-heated. For instance, with another slice that we had, fresh basil and grated cheese was added after re-heating, and you really get the freshness and herbaceousness of the basil, because it's not wilted from the oven. Definitely planning to stop by the other Outta Sight location in Chinatown to try out some of their other flavors not available at this location. read more

I would love to try it with something charred like eggplant instead! The crust is classic thin + crispy, making heat retention a little low, but that honestly just means you need to eat it QUICK to enjoy as much cheese pull as you possibly can. I'm one of the lucky people who both live and work near Outta Sight Pizza. That means I get to enjoy this wonderful place whenever I want and that usually amounts to at least once a week if not more. But it's not just about the great pizza. The people are great too. I'm often amused when friends from the North Bay and the East Bay ask me if I've ever been, and then get that jealous look on their faces when I tell them that I'm there all the time. Had a quick lunch break at my go-to pizza joint in the TL: Outta Sight Pizza. If you live here in the city, I'm sure you've heard about it already from the Chron's top 100 best restaurants to local foodie influencers. They had some slices I had never seen before. And I convinced myself to get two slices because I hadn't eaten breakfast. But normally one slice is enough for me. I got the Cheeky Tzatziki, which had roasted squash, banana peppers, and my favorite spice, za'atar. It also had red onions, which I normally detest, but it was actually good. It had good acidity from the banana peppers, and a bit of citrus notes from the za'atar. I also got the Sean Song, which was also yummy. I really enjoyed the candy bacon and the tender potatoes. I assume this slice was in tribute of a friend who passed away from looking at the label... it's a good slice to honor a friend and fellow chef. And they have the classics such as pepperoni and cheese. But don't skip the Lunch Lady. She's thicc and delicious. Looking back, I would actually try the other location in Chinatown. There's a few slices available there that were not available in the Tenderloin location. I got a slice of the ruby (marinara, vodka, and pesto sauce) and the pepperoni. Both slices were really good and flavorful. The pies were slightly smoky and had a good crisp to them. My other party went to the Chinatown location and I was able to try the peking duck and the nectarine slices and those were amazing. I needed a slice of pizza in the worst way and was excited to see we were near a spot with such a high rating! There were some street closures on the day we visited so we parked in the UC lot just down the street for $8. It was a small price to pay considering the slices here are only about $6 so it wasn't a huge investment to know the car was safe and the slices were not too far away! We got 4 slices total, 2 pep and 2 jerk chicken. The crust was perfectly crispy and there was some fresh basil on the pep that just made it pop! The jerk chicken was my favorite. Seating is limited with first come first served but we invited a group to join us at our table so go ahead and make some new friends. The guys that sat down were from New York and while I don't take every pizza review from a New Yorker as gospel, they were impressed with these slices.
