I asked the pie to be heated up. I like warm pie. The lady helping, really discouraged me about warming up the pie. She kept telling me that it would change the flavor of the pie. She told me to tast it first and if I still wanted it warm, she would. I did not warm my pie. I mean it was good, but, to me, it would have been better warm. Pick your battles. I came here due to recommendations from friends. They didn't have many options of whole pies for purchase. I'm guessing about 10-12 different varieties. They were limited on slices as well. We got a slice of the Key Lime Pie which was small compared to other places that offer comparable desserts. At $5.50 a slice I expected much more. It was good but disappointingly small. We got our thanksgiving pie from here and it was super tasty. We got the pumpkin ginger snap because they were out of traditional pumpkin & the crust was so good it honestly might have been better. With Thanksgiving around the corner, I have really been craving some solid pie. I had passed by the Pie Snob dozens of times during my travels through downtown Chandler, but before now I had never stopped to try it - something I absolutely regret. Pie Snob has a handful of other options to get or pair with a pie if you're feeling up for it. They sell their pies whole or by the slice, and have available slices for every pie in the case. $5.50 a slice seemed a little steep, but considering I'd spend the same, if not more for a drink at Starbucks, I'd much rather order a pie. They have nine pies in their case, three by three, descending from most to least popular. They have a selection of classics like apple, key lime, etc that apparently changes monthly. I got a slice of Buttermilk Pie and was immediately hooked. Exactly what I was hoping for. The crust was a very pleasant surprise. Apparently some are different than others, on this one there was a sort of vanilla wafer, almost pancake sort of taste to it. They do offer catering and custom orders as well, and I plan to inquire about a custom pie for future events if they're all as good as this one. Absolutely worth a stop. read more

They had their blueberry lemon cream pie on the weekly menu so I had to try! It was a little oozy but the lemon cream filling was on point ... tangy without being overpowering, smooth, and paired nicely woth the graham cracker crust. The search continues...My husband adores Boston Cream Pie so I ordered one for his birthday/Father's Day celebration. Unfortunately it was quite the letdown. The yellow cake portion was very dry and flavorless, and took up the majority of the space in the pie. I was happy to see they used a graham crust instead of the usual pie crust, but it wasn't buttery, and didn't add any value. I will say that the pastry cream and chocolate ganache layers were fine, but those layers were too stingy to counteract the large mass of dry cake. This one in Chandler is bigger with more seating and nice ambience on a happening street with trendy restaurants and a comedy club. My blueberry and chocolate cream pies were great. So far, I rank Pie Snob best pies in Arizona. I was never a big pie guy but develop more Pie love on every visit to Pie Snob. I recommend this for taking dates for dessert(with coffees also offered). Absolutely delish! We first had their Caramel Apple Pie at OHSO restaurant. I was in hog heaven. Jammed packed with apples. I could do without the caramel, made it too sweet for me....but it was soooo good! Today we stopped and had the cherry alamode....WOW!!!!! We have to limit coming here...it could get ridiculous . One of the worst experiences I have ever had... period! For my sons birthday he wanted pie over a cake, so we headed to Pie Snob. We walked in at 5:25 pm. Half the gelato was already out away. When I walked over and told them we would like Gelato she said sorry, we are closing. I had to argue to get her to scoop one for my wife but the other customers that came after us were turned away. There was only apple pie available so we ordered it. We, and two others that entered, asked for the chocolate pie pictured but were told they are not allowed to cut a pie this late. The two girls were so consumed with leaving at 6 PM when they close that they ignored the customers this evening. if not foe for our persistence of getting my sin's birthday pie, they would have been happy to let us leave without buying anything. If the employees need to leave at 6 PM, close then close at 5:30 PM. You never know when someone may walk in on their special day only to have the employees try to rush you out. read more

Came in for a sweet treat after eating downtown , super friendly young lady ( didn't get her name) she just moved to the area from Michigan was behind the counter. So so friendly ! Offered gelato taste tester spoons while we tried to figure out which pies to select ; after choosing 4 different slices of pie to take home she let us know we could get two more slices for only $6 more ! This little shop is was decorated so cute! The inside was very clean and organized. There was plenty of choices for pie and cheesecake (see photo). You are given the choice of buying the whole pie, a mini pie, or just a slice. They also serve ice cream. During my visit I got a chocolate cream pie slice, which was sweet but still tasty. My mom happened to get a caramel apple pie slice, but it came with a lot of caramel (pooled at the bottom) so she didn't enjoy that very much and did not finish her slice. The spices were perfect. Great taste of fall in a slice. I added whipped topping which the pie did not need at all and if I were to order again I would leave the whip off. Hubby ordered cherry pie. He wanted tart cherries but this was more of a sweet cherry pie. The crumble on top of the pie was great. He ate the entire slice and was very pleased with it even though was not tart. The shop is neat and clean. It was refreshingly cool in the shop. There were also lists of bars that carry their pies so one could have their favorite pie with their favorite beer. Woo hoo. Such an adorable little place. They have more then pie too! We tried out their ice cream flavors and a piece of pie and were just completely in heaven! Exceptional product and we are partial to apple pie with caramel topping. Today, I had the displeasure of not being able to find a parking spot and circled the shop for way too long. I gave up, ran errands and returned to the same full parking area. I ordered the whole pie in advance and was expected to pick it up at noon. At 12:40p I decided to use my hazards and park right at the door. A family was leaving the shop, walking, so I was the only customer yet the Pie Snob parking spaces were still full. Same cars!
