This is such a cool space, but a few challenges with the ambiance. Downstairs feels a little more like a sports bar with the bar being to focus as you walk in. As you go upstairs, it feels like you're entering into a new place. It's a more elegant vibe upstairs. It's an old brick building which doesn't lend itself well to acoustics. We went with a group with 9 and it was a challenge to communicate from one end to the other. Steaks were pretty good. Temperature being an issue on a few. I tried the steak pasta because it seemed different and nothing like I'd had before. First it was the largest serving ever! It was good but I don't think I'd order it again. The desserts were pretty spectacular!

    Check out this fish sandwich!!!

I have eaten at Piedmont Steakhouse several times and have always gotten very good food. I have had the scallops with risotto! The scallops were cooked to perfection! I also love the fish sandwich! Honestly the best fish sandwich I have ever had. And the service, so friendly! My only complaint is that I have never seen a ghost! I hear, there are ghost.

    The $8 side of mushrooms.

I was extremely disappointed in my meal this evening. I ordered the $50 bone in ribeye medium rare. It arrived at the table well done. I ordered the $8 side of mushrooms that I assumed would be shareable. This is what I was given. It's fine that it wasn't big enough to share because that was my assumption but this is the extremely small portion even for one. Also I was not even halfway through my steak and the waitress brought the check to the table and asked if i needed a box...as I was chewing. For the inconvenience she removed a glass of wine that the person I was dining with had but not my cocktail. I was the one who got the unsatisfactory meal! We We were given a 10% discount.... $12 on a $127 bill. So basically I got a $6 discount on my portion of the meal. We won't be back.

My girls 17th Birthday! No place better to spend it!

This place is over the top! Ambiance, staff food! The price is reasonable! A little off the Main Street but worth the detour. Next week is Restaurant week in Culpepper dint miss this place. We travel every year from Washington for her Birthday!

Amazing steaks. They use dry aged prime beef. A bit pricy but you definitely get what you pay for and that's a good thing !

After we paid, another waitress came over and asked us if we were ready to pay. We dismissed the confusion and waved off all the drama but really, though, every waitress who addressed us everytime, was a Lot, all of those women, everytime, had smiles on their faces and were happy that we were good to go. The interior gives upscale sports bar vibes. We chose a high top table toward the back of the restaurant. Our server ended up being the bartender too. They had $5 margaritas that night so I ordered one and we started with an order of their pierogies. There were four and they were served over a smear of their beer cheese. There were ok. I wanted more seasoning in the filling itself. It was pretty bland. For my entree I got their hot dog with chili and cheese with their housemade chips. I was pleasantly surprised to see a cheese sauce on the dog. It was pretty good. Some of the chips were pretty overcooked. The service brought this score down. I think the bartender was busy but plenty of servers were available. There was a lot of conversation at the bar. We probably should have just sat there. We missed out on drink refills, having our order taken promptly, and getting the check when we were ready to leave. Overall there were a lot of interesting things on the menu. I would want to return to see what else tasted good.

The Sausage gravy was a white, almost flavorless gravy. You could see bits of sausage in the gravy, but it sure did not taste like anything. It was very underseasoned. I added salt, pepper, and hot sauce to impart some flavor to it. The eggs, corned beef hash, and hashbrowns were cooked properly. The corned beef hash is of the canned variety, but it was crisped up nicely. And the hash browns were crispy. I added a bit of salt and pepper to the eggs and hash browns, and hot sauce on the corned beef hash. If I had not tried the Sausage gravy and biscuits - this would have been a 4 or 5 star review. My server asked me during checkout how everything was. I articulated my experience with the Sausage gravy. Service was good. Paid with Apple Pay. #4CsRestaurant

I already knew. Come on. But..ok. House made crab dip it is. It was like orange yogurt on a plate with hard, crunchy Pita bread for dipping. There was no crab visible or crab flavor at all. And as stated the "Pita bread" was hard. -went to the breakfast buffet in the morning, (free as its a partnership with the hotel) It was eh. Even though im not a fan of sausage gravy i did put a little on my biscuit. Its the sausage gravy that has miniscule sausage bits in it but doesn't smell or taste like sausage. Bacon was ok I guess. Im picky with breakfast. I love making my own. Anyway.. - That night coming back from events, We stopped in again for mozzarella sticks and chicken wings. These were good and a plentiful amount. Not 4 for $8 like most places.more like 7 or 8 for $12 which i feel is better. At least you're full. We noticed there was a buffet open! I asked about it. One time Salad bowl (not per pound) was $2.99 Wish I saw that before I got the mozzarella sticks! And a back room party with full on buffet and music I could hear in my room on the hill until 11pm. I didn't mind that at all. Because once the music went quiet, I could hear the butt smacks in my next door rooms.:( so where I would have given a 1 star the first night, I will give a 2.8 overall. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was the complete opposite. When I arrived to pick up my order, I immediately noticed that the portion size of the catfish was shockingly small--thin, uneven pieces that looked nothing like what I had previously been served. The presentation was unacceptable. I asked to speak with a manager right away. Johnathan and Debbie came to speak with me. They insisted that "this is how the meal is served." I respectfully disagreed and explained that I have eaten this exact dish multiple times, and it has never been served in such poor quality or portion size. A customer sitting at the bar even spoke up and confirmed my concern, stating, "That is not how they serve the catfish. That lady deserves a refund." My information was taken down, and Johnathan personally assured me that a refund would be issued within three business days. I left giving the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. However, after a full week with no refund, I called back. Instead of professionalism, I was met with stuttering, avoidance, and a claim from Johnathan that he never said he would issue a refund--despite his clear promise at the time. I have attached the photo I took that day. Look at the portion and presentation--would anyone find this acceptable to sell to paying customers? This experience was extremely disappointing--not only because of the poor quality of the food, but because of the lack of honesty and accountability from management. I truly hope Ruby Tuesday's addresses this issue, as this is not the standard of service or food quality I've come to expect.

I aged yet another year this past Thursday (one year older, but not another year wiser, healthier,…read moreor wealthier - lol), & since the pandemic nixed us going out for a nice fancy birthday meal, & since I had a hankering for my favorite "Bleu Cheese & Grilled Onion Burger" from Glory Days, placed an order which dear husband picked up & brought home. Now I've been enjoying these burgers for many years now - it's my hands-down favorite Glory Days offering. Ordered to go last year some time & was underwhelmed at how it was put together & how it traveled. This time, however - what a revelation! While of course I re-toasted everything in the oven for 10 minutes or so (fries in particular never travel well, so always need a bit of a crisp-up), whoever made & whoever packed the burger deserve awards. The burger was more than an inch thick & perfectly medium-rare as ordered. Bleu cheese crumbles were perfectly piled on the burger - not scattered all over the place - as were the beautifully grilled onions. And healthy portions of both. The creme-de-la-creme? Someone had the absolutely genius idea to place a piece of parchment paper between the lettuce/tomato/raw red onion & the rest of the burger, thus preventing those fresh toppings from not only wilting from the heat of the burger enroute, but also sogging up the bun!! I simply lifted the parchment paper with fresh toppings off while I reheated the burger & bun, & replaced them (minus parchment) when everything was hot & ready. Both burger & fries were absolutely PERFECT (side pickle spear cold & crisp as well) - just as good if not better than if I had ordered & enjoyed it in the restaurant. If I had to be anal & ding them on anything, it was that no little plastic cup of ketchup was provided, but I had my own favorite "spicy ketchup" on hand, so probably wouldn't have used theirs anyway. Bottom Line: I can only hope & pray that this wasn't a one-time thing due to someone superior manning the kitchen & that my next burger order will arrive home exactly the same as this one!!
