I've driven past this business several times and yesterday decided to stop and check it out. With a name like Piefection, I was expecting a fantastic experience. I am sad to say it was not perfection. With a price tag of $6.00 for a small slice of pie I was disappointed with the taste of the Coconut Cream pie. I felt like I was eating glue paste with a sprinkle of coconut on it. This company should be ashamed of this product. After a couple of bites, I threw this in the garbage. read more

I visited a pop up location in Scottsdale and tried the raspberry cream and a mini peach. The prices were the highest I've seen for a pie but I decided to give it a go anyway because they looked so good! I love raspberry but it was overwhelming the cream flavor on the pie. The cream is also not very firm and the pie will cave in when you cut a slice out. The peach was pretty good but $9 for a mini I won't be buying it again. I'd be curious to try other sweet pies and their savory pies next! read more

Love Piefection and even more that there is one in Queen Creek! Got 4 pies for Thanksgiving and all were amazing! The Cherry cheesecake was the best my husband's ever had from there! Update: Not really sure what kind of rating to give now. Yesterday the Owner came by with a cheesecake. She apologized and seemed very sincere. I appreciate when people own their mistakes. It takes a big person to do that. The cheesecake is good, especially the graham cracker crust. I am just not a fan of the customer service in the shop. The first girl that helped me was indifferent and the second looked at me like I was crazy. Customer Service for me is everything. I applaude the owner for taking the bull by the horns. You be the judge of this business and hopefully your experience will be better than mine. read more

I love Piefection & my husband & I have gone here for 7 years, however, we had a bad pie that was raspberry cream. The pie was runny & soupy. Its as though it didn't set. We were not happy so I called the Mesa location (I had bought 2 pies that day at the Chandler pop up location) & spoke to a very abrupt supervisor named ERIN who was & nasty & kept interrupting me. She said she would replace the pie but I would have buy 2 pies! I met the owner Cheryl a few years ago & I'm sure she wouldn't want ERIN being rude to customers. read more

My wife and I came in to get a few pies for Mother's Day. We were a little concerned about the line out the door (COVID), but it went much faster than anticipated. They had a staff person take orders while we waited and I appreciated that they only allowed one person in at a time. Now for the pies, we got a coconut cream, lemon meringue and country apple. The coconut was excellent, made just the way I like it. Before we even left the store the staff gave us $3 off our lemon because the peaks fell on the meringue (I wouldn't have even noticed lol but that's great quality control). My wife even said, "I don't like pie crust, but this is excellent". We didn't dig into the Apple but I'm sure it's going to be great too. I will be back to sample the cheesecake for sure! read more

Strawberry Pie was excellent. Have not been unhappy with any of the pies we've bought but that strawberry pie was great.

Had the triple berry pie from the Scottsdale location. It was very good; however at $35 per pie it is highway robbery. Was ok to try once, but definitely not worth the price they charge. Will never return because it simply isn't worth that price. If they bumped this pie down to about $20 I would say that is a fair price. read more

I ordered a custard pie for my sister's birthday. Was baked the same day I picked it up. When I picked it up it looked really dark on top. When tasting it, it was not good at all. There was so much liquid that covered the crust and some of the custard, the crust was so saggy. The taste of the custard was the worst custard pie I have ever tasted. And I love custard pie. Would not recommend Pie Fection. Was very disappointed! read more

Mmm Lawd have mercy. So many pies, so little time. How to choose? Well, I finally went with the strawberry rhubarb (my fave), and it was scrumptious. I would have normally rated 5 stars, but deducted one due to the prices. Way over-priced. My pie was $17. Was good, but not worth the $17 price tag. A more reasonable price would be $12 to $13. read more

Had high hopes today for the Georgia Peach pie today but it leaves us underwhelmed. Crust is thick, mushy and under baked while the flavor of the peach filling is unremarkable. May be wrong, but the peaches seem to come from a freezer bag and not fresh sliced. Must be a special Mesa recipe. Maybe next year? read more

I was having people over for brunch and decided to save time by purchasing the quiche. I waited at least 20 minutes (and I was the only customer) Make sure you look at your pie before you leave! I got a thawed out quiche with most of the outside crust broken off and the bottom was covered in goo like they had been stacked right on top of each other. It was embarrassing to serve whole, so I served in pieces and made excuses to my guests. I heated it in the oven according to directions. It had a strange texture, like it had been thawed and refrozen. The center was mushy and the outside was too firm. I should have just saved my $25 and made my own. Lesson learned. Do not buy the quiche. read more

I've eaten 3 Pies from 2 different locations. The Key Lime Pie was gritty and the whipped cream tasted old. The Apple pie had a bad crust and the filling was not good. Both from Scottsdale. Today we had a chocolate cream with meringue from Mesa. The crust was thin and the cream was a pudding that was runny. All of these Pies were served at our luncheon group of 8. We all will never buy another pie from this place and will tell our friends how bad they are. Prices are too high for an inferior product read more

Best pies ever! The crust is by far the most flaky and delicious crust you'll ever have. Tons of great options, including savory pot pies, which are just as amazing as their dessert pies. Decor was nice, the smell was semi- pleasant not a huge selection available, we were not approached by 3 of the ladies that were there until I finally asked if they had peach. One lady approached us with her mouth full of who knows what, I get it people get hungry... yes ! But you're on the frontline of your business. I recently found this location while driving by my house, and my god I'm glad I did. I'm not sure why people are trashing this bakery, seeing how I have had nothing but good experiences here. Now this being said, I have only had the sweet pies, none of the savory. So, I cannot attest to the quality of those pies! The pies I got were a mini apple, and a couple slices of the key lime pie. The apple was wonderful! I felt that there could've been more filling to crust ratio, but I'm also a picky fat kid. Otherwise the crust on both the apple and the key lime was stupendous. It was super buttery, flakey, and amazing! They change seasonal flavors for their pies, and have monthly events to check out. There is even a day where they slice up all the pies they have, so you can try them out! You CANNOT get single slices of pie unless they have cut one already. They only do whole pies! read more
