I've never experienced such a situation where I was so infuriated, disappointed and saddened. Yesterday was my first time at this place with coworkers celebrating a bachelor and bachelorette party version as fellow coworkers. There must have been at least 15-20 of us at the bar, buying drinks and food. We spent about $1500 to $1800 in a span of about 7 hours. 3 different coworkers covered the bulk of the bill and many others closed out their own bills as well. When closing the last bill, the bartender Greg or Craig, was extremely racist, unprofessional and disrespectful. He basically told the 3rd person paying the a large portion of the remainder balance to pay the entire bill because, and I quote, "I do not trust that black chick to pay the bill, I have a feeling they're going to walk out cause you know, they do it." That "chick" is my coworker and the bachelorette of the evening. The manager Vanessa was extremely apologetic and understanding. She even discounted $200 from the final bill. Although, this cannot make up for the racist comments and assumptions that was made toward my coworker. I picked this water front restaurant for my 24th birthday brunch and it was absolutely fantastic. From the views, to the food, to even the servers everything was on point. My friends and I were there for about 2 and a half hours, taking our time, enjoying the food and view and they did not mind at all, most places kick you out for lagging around that long! Anyways the truffle oil Mac n cheese, fries, wood fried veggie pizza and veggie burger were among the amazing items we tried. I would definitely recommend trying this place out definitely worth the bucks $$. Will be going back myself!! The food was mediocre and severely overpriced even considering the location. Nice place to grab a drink by the water at the open air bar when the weather is nice. They have plenty of craft brews on tap and in bottles. Prices on spirits are also decent. This place gets busier as the night progresses, and getting attention from the servers/bartenders will get pretty hard. The food is a bit over priced for the quality. Pretty much hyped up bar grub with nice presentation. I started skipping the food here after trying them out the last few times. The downside is the parking lot setup here. They do have valet for $5. I absolutely love this place- this is the perfect lunch or dinner spot on a beautiful day and both the view and the food are top notch. My friend and I sat outside right on the water. We ordered the Truffle Mac and Cheese and Crispy Wings. Both were fantastic, but the Mac and Cheese was out of this world. We swore this was the best Mac and Cheese we've ever had. For entrees, we ordered the Half Brick Chicken and the Bleu Burger. Both were delicious and good sized portions. As for cocktails, we ordered the Orange Ripple and Opaline Nectar. We tried each others (and ordered 3 rounds) because both were fantastic. The Opaline Nectar reminded me of a fancier Piña Colada. We talked about how good the drinks were all night. In all honesty this place was absolutely terrible. From the drinks down to every dish we got. 24$ for a chicken bacon ranch pizza that was undercooked and not even one bit crispy and the size of a personal pizza. 20$ chicken wings that literally were so bland and dry...not even the sauce could save it. My friends and I came to have some drinks and appetizers. We asked the hostess where we could sit to order food and drinks. She left as we were asking her. We wound up going to sit at the bar to order drinks. Bartender was very nice. A few minutes later, three bouncers came over and told us we had to leave and accused us of using foul language and harassing the hostess. We calmly explained to them that we used no foul language, and even the bartender stood up for us. We ended up going to Haven down the street and had a wonderful experience. I just thought this place was OK. I didn't think it was bad but it did in overly impressed me. #1. I don't like getting charged to valet my car. In fact the actual valet guys got less of a tip because of that. Location of this place is great no issues there Bartending staff was not overly friendly but friendly enough. As an extra plus, our waitress was awesome - she gave us a ton of different recommendations off the menu - I didn't even need to scan the QR code. I don't know where to start. Saturday night was the worst experience that I've ever had from a customer experience perspective. We showed up to Pier 115 and were told that we would be a 45 minutes wait. After 45 minutes, we got the call. Great! Yeah, not so fast. Things went downhill quickly after that. 30 Minutes after that call, we were still waiting only to find out that our table was given away to another party that knew the manager or had the same name on the list with the same number of people (that's the excuse we got). So, we continued to wait. Another 30 minutes pass. We speak to a manager that offers us free drinks and appetizers for the mix up. 30 more minutes. We find out that the manager left without telling us or his staff of the situation. Now they don't want to honor that. 30 more minutes go by. Surely we would get a table now, right? Nope. They try to seat us at a 4 and 2 top on opposite sides of the restaurant. Add insult to injury? Sure. The hostesses rolled their eyes when we were upset by ALL of this and the bouncer said "this is the best they can do" in the loveliest of tones. Oh, bonus round - they had people at their tables the entire 3 hour stint this took. When we asked about the 1.5 hour COVID table limit, they said "they don't adhere to guidelines here. I have been to Pier 115 many, many times for drinks and one time for appetizers. Was never disappointed. However, last night we came for a friend's birthday dinner, and I can no longer say the same. I ordered the scallops and bacon dish and it came with THREE (small) scallops, and two bite size pieces of bacon. There was nothing else as a side either. This was not worth the money. Portion would have been appropriate for an appetizer, but for the price still not worth it. All of our portions were pretty small, so much so that after we finished our entrees we ordered an extra entree and side of fries to split between us because none of us were truly satisfied. This is a shame because the location and drinks are both great. Now I know to stick to drinks and appetizers if I return. Will not have dinner here again. read more

What a great date night. They place was a little hard to find. You have to drive in a parking lot and the restaurant is under a parking structure. It's understandable since it is next to the waterside what a view. I had the bison burger and my girlfriend had the fish and chips. The fish was flaky and not greasy. I visited pier 115 with my friends yesterday and had appetizers, entrees, drinks and desserts. We were sitting outside, our outside waitress was cool but the other waitresses were literally just standing around and we had to wait over 30 minutes each time we ordered drinks. (Drinks were bad too) It then started raining so we had to move inside, and the hostesses were giving us a hard time getting a table because we closed out our $400 bill outside (although we were asked to go inside because of the rain) there were a lot of open tables, but we were asked to wait 30 minutes - which we did. When we seated at the new table, the waitress was super nasty (area towards the back - not on the main floor) because she wanted us to consume more and eat more (we had just closed out a a $400 bill, like give us some time to get hungry) and we ended up ordering more drinks and food; she ended up calling one of her hostess friends over who came over super disrespectful and very nasty and said that we needed to get up immediately because our table was reserved and that they couldn't let us sit there (but there were 4 open tables in our same area) so I asked for a manager, the manager never came... and all the tables in my area were available and the "reservation" also never came. I refused to let the current waitress keep serving us so a new waiter came - his name was Christian, I'm literally giving this place 2 stars because Christian was amazing - he was friendly, helpful and had great customer service skills. We ended up ordering more food and drinks and total of the night was $600 and we tipped $150 between the two waiters. I will never go back to this place, they need staff that actually cares about customer service and aren't rude and nasty. I understand restaurants are recovering From covid, but in order for people to keep coming back, you need staff that actually want to do their job. We spent $750 in total - I could have gone to chart house or waterside and spent half with better service. Never again. read more

The drinks were delish!! The food was amazing me and my 3 friends has general tsos cauliflower, truffle Mac , chicken wings and the salmon all were good portions and so yummy!! The problem was the waiter when were paying he charged the wrong amount to our cards , the bill said $139.14 and instead of dividing it by 4 .he charged my friends card for the total of 139.14 he apologized and then gave us a different bill to pay $188 . And you can make a meal out of the oprtions they provide. We had humus which was fresh and plentiful. There are also grilled peppers, maki roles, french fries, sliders and more. The beers go from $5 to $8. Wine is about the same. The bartender (Vince) is great. Will definitely come back for dinner. It is a great view of New York City. And in good weather you can sit outside. Getting here is a bit odd as it's all the way in the back of the dock. The valet took forever to get to our car (then again, we had a wretched woman in front of us who was just being a pain) and it costs $5 upfront to park. Then, when you get inside, the restaurant is loud. Super loud. I get that it's a popular restaurant but it was to the point of everyone screaming at each other. Our waiter was super friendly and I liked him but when our appetizers came out, we still hadn't put in our order for the main course yet. So we had this tiny table, two apps, and two huge menus all in our way. I understand that the restaurant was busy so the waiter was a bit swamped. But then they definitely need more people on staff. The food was quite good though and that's definitely the saving grace along with the view. Yes, it can be a bit pricey for the portions but that's what's expected. Visited this establishment yesterday 5/27 around 9PM.. There was no wait.. Wanted to be seating outside but the hostesses English was choppy.. But after going back and forth she said that there would be a 30-45 minute wait.. I noticed while we waited briefly for our booth that there were people without reservations that were seated immediately outside.. We get to our booth and the table and seats are greasy as if they hadn't been cleaned properly.. I get up and speak to the hostess and ask if there is still a wait for the outside area.. She claims there's still a 30 minute wait.. Mind you it was only 5 minutes from that time we arrived and were seated at our booth.. We could clearly see that there were several tables available.. A few minutes after our exchange she says we have tables available outside so now we have to close out our tab because we ordered two glasses of wine once we were seated.. The outside area is beautiful on a nice night.. We ordered the wings (very very hot).. They were so hot that you couldn't even enjoy them.. We also ordered a Margherita Pizza that was cold when it arrived at our table.. We had the waitress take it to warm it up.. Took her 15 minutes to do so.. When the pizza finally came out our waitress and the gentleman that carried it out had an entire convo over our pizza.. Stopped walked away and continued their convo.. By the time I finally received my pizza it was colder than when it left.. I ordered the fillet, garlic spinach & shallots meal with a side of yukon mashed potatoes... Went for Weekday Happy Hour Food - 1/5. The pulled pork sliders are tiny and boring. The pork is soft enough but the flavor is lackluster and difficult to eat as it spills everywhere since they decided to use baby brioche as slider buns. The margherita pizza looks delicious at first but when you taste it you will find it very bland and oily. Most margherita pizzas have a tomato sauce base with droplets of mozzarella cheese but this pizza was made using the opposite approach with poor results. The cheese is too bland to be eaten with just the bread and makes your mouth feel overly greasy. The olive oil being brushed on top of just melted mozzarella and bread does not help the greasy feel. The part of the pizza where you do get sauce is soggy from the overwhelming concentration of liquid. Really forced myself to finish the meal which is not a feeling you ever want. Service - 4/5. Service was good even though the bar area was packed and busy. The bartender pays attention to all the guests and refilled my water without being asked; the kind of hospitality you want to feel. Value - 1/5. The prices are similar to other waterfront happy hours in the area but the food here is really bad. Most of the people sitting at the bar seemed to only order drinks and perhaps there is a reason for that. I have seen some interesting characters at this establishment, being that I live in the apartment building next door I frequent this quick food joint quite often, at least once a week. It is a tad overpriced, but you are paying for the view. The bartenders are always great to us, quick, and attentive! My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience at Pier 115 the other night. The view of the west side of Manhattan was spectacular! It felt like we could touch the city. Our server was pleasant and extremely attentive. It was so nice to be out for dinner again. I highly recommend ordering the sushi, brick oven pizza and the Chilean Sea bass was hands down the best we've ever had. Would definitely go back and next time we're bringing our friends. Now for the bad part: 1- I'll never be back here again 2- The food is WAY WAY OVER PRICED. $28.00 for a small plate of spaghetti with creamy sauce, 3 medium sized shrimp and tiny clams. 3- my friend ordered a Cesar salad which was $18.00 and it was VERY POORLY PREPARED, the lettuce was completely unevenly cut, the Caesar cream was not evenly mixed into the lettuce, parts were saturated and parts literally had no Caesar cream on it. Our table got the bison burger with the house salad, the Ahi tuna, a penne prosciutto pizza and the fish & chips. Honestly, everything was quite delicious- especially the flaky fish for the fish & chips. The pizza was original and had great flavor with a generous amount of prosciutto. The only negative was the salad. It was just spring mix lettuce with a lemon vinaigrette- just too plain. The dressing was extremely citrusy and didn't go well with JUST spring mix. I haven't been here aince 2015. I was so excited to finally be back and show my fiancé the amazing food and view. Things definitely changed. The hostess was rude, When I asked her if my fiancé and I can sit outside, she said it's booked and you need to make rsvp but I can sit you inside. Without giving me any minute to think she completely cuts me off and greets the next customer. Coming back from helping the other customer, she rudely says, " You ready now?" (with a nasty attitude). 1.) As we wait for our food, I noticed people walking towards the table outside and they didn't have rsvp. 2.) There was a couple next to us. They asked one of the bus boys if they can sit outside and they did! 3.) Food is overpriced ONLY good thing... The waiter and server were super nice and pleasant. The hostess needs to go! We went here for drinks around 10pm. We had about 12 people with us for my friends birthday and they would not let her BF in because he had ripped jeans. (Which were barely ripped and the holes were at the shins) Now I have a problem with this because there was a sign that had the dress code saying nothing about ripped jeans. Not only that but we proceeded to watch other people get in while violating almost every rule that was ACTUALLY on the dress code sign.
