    Turkey Dinner

I was craving diner food so we decided to give them a try! Very good! Prices were very affordable, portions were great and the food was very tasty! I of course went with a Turkey Dinner and I would definitely order it again!!

In the mood for some classic diner food, we stumbled across the Kozy Nook. It was nice and spacious inside, and the booths were very comfortable. They have a good variety on the menu; so there will be something to please everyone. I went with the fish and chips. Although the coleslaw wasn't my favorite, I absolutely loved the generous portion of delicious fish. It was really delicious and I would definitely order it again next time! The prices are fair, and the portions are good, as is the service. Having such a good experience, I definitely can't wait to come back again soon!

    Chicken and rice soup

As soon as the waitress brought my order out and place it on the table in front of me, I automatically knew this food was going to be bland. A business trip took me to the great state of Massachusetts. I ended up stopping in for dinner at the Kozy Nook Restaurant. Chicken and Rice Soup I was starving so I ordered a cup of chicken and rice soup as an appetizer. This dish was actually pretty good. A sprinkle of salt, pinch of pepper, and a pack of crackers, the chicken and rice soup was a great warm up for my empty stomach. The Sirloin Tips I normally order my steaks medium well. This time I opted for medium. The sirloin tips were the best part of the dish. You could taste the grilled flavor in the meat. The meat was very tender and juicy.... kind of made me want to order just a side of the tips to take some home.... to eat with grits of course. The Corn Nothing much really to say about the corn. The corn tastes just like corn. It was warm. No added flavors. The Mashed Potatoes and Gravy Too start..... Throw that gravy away. The gravy taste as if they scraped the bottom of the pot and diluted it with water. The garlic mashed potatoes could have used a little bit of salt... Otherwise it was fine. Creamy. What I will say though is on the way out, we walked past this couple's table. They had ordered three different types of pizza. They looked really good. Somebody let me know how they taste. Overall I left full but my taste buds were let down.   #Westport  #sirlointips #foodtour #Dartmouth #Bedford #explorepage  #foodie #foodporn #neweats #instafood #foodstagram #foodblogger #foodlover  #corn #foodgasm #instagood #foodiesofinstagram #foodpics #tasty #traveling #followforfollow  #GratuityAdded   #goodforgroups #imhungry #garlic  #foodlover  #Massachusetts #restaurant  #dinner  #foodbeast

More facts, this is a sea farm. They grow and harvest their oysters within a stones throw. Coming in by boat you see all of the cages. You cannot get a fresher oyster. Since they are a farm they can harvest smaller oysters that you and I cannot with our shellfish license. They a perfect delectible size. Great flavor and may I say even better than ICO, with the exception of their Aunt Dotty. Cold lobster is exceptional as well. If you like you're buttered and hot, you can get that to, but I can escort out of the premises and point you north to Maine where you can join the tourists. Yes it's expensive. This is not buck a shuck. But you're eating oysters which are no longer peasant food. So yes you want cheap oysters or wish to shuck them yourself, go to Market Basket and stop complaining. Cheap & seafood do not go together. Never experienced anything but kind service from the staff. Those complaining about rude service may want to look in the mirror cause you're likely an ahole. Only downside is their seasonal operation. Would be great to go there during the off season when the tourist are long gone, but it's likely not financially feasible.

We love the relaxed picnic-table seating right on the water, the fresh and reasonably priced seafood, and the full bar, which got a fantastic upgrade this summer with slushy machines for margaritas and other delicious drinks! With several kids under 10, it's hard to beat this spot. It strikes that rare balance of being laid-back and family-friendly without compromising quality. Boaters can pull up to the dock, or you can easily drive in. The lobster roll and clam chowder were standouts -- classic New England staples, executed perfectly. It's a fun, authentic spot with real local charm, filling a much-needed niche in the area. If you're looking for something more formal, The Back Eddy across the water is excellent -- but Westport Sea Farms delivers a unique, breezy vibe that's all its own. One small suggestion: peak summer days can feel a bit hectic. A dedicated hostess could help keep things running smoothly -- we felt bad for the one woman managing both the host stand and takeout orders. That said, it didn't take away from our experience in the slightest -- just a small note that could make a great place even better. We're already looking forward to our next visit -- this place is a gem!

Review for The Bayside Restaurant - Westport, MA Sand, suds,…read moreand that sweet, sweet lobstah! Anytime I find myself in Dartmouth, there's one non-negotiable: a pilgrimage to The Bayside. It's not just a restaurant--it's a seaside ritual. A full-on coastal vibe check. By day, this place hums with a tide of locals and sun-kissed visitors, all riding that same salty wavelength. The outside seating? Chef's kiss. Whether you're perched at the surfboard table (yes, really), chilling by the firepit, or posted up at the outdoor bar chillin' in the shade or soaking in the rays (depending on time of day), it always feels like a low-key beach party. Add in that Scooby-Doo-style van hawking t-shirts and tank tops and you've got yourself a beach fiesta postcard . Drink-wise, they're reppin' the South Coast with a rotating lineup of New England brews and a cocktail menu that says "kick off those flip flops and stay a while." The chowder? Clam or seafood--either one is a pregame MVP. Creamy, flavorful, and loaded with sea-kissed goodness. But the main event? That lobstah roll. Oh baby. Warm. Nekked. Buttered. No mayo nonsense (that's how I roll). Just pure, buttery shellfish glory piled high in a toasted split-top roll. Served with fries that actually hold their own--crispy, salty, and impossible to stop picking at even after you "swear you're full." Service stays solid despite the crowd--friendly, laid-back, and on point with the refills and check-ins. They know what they're doing, even when the patio's packed and the orders are flying. The Bayside is a beach town legend. Come for the lobstah roll, stay for the surfboard tables, the sun-soaked vibes, and the kind of carefree energy that makes you wish you lived on a boat. (Or one of them campers along the coast)

The wonderful atmosphere, good vibes, great delicious food, and awesome service all came together in perfect harmony. Your meal comes with a large house salad and bread which I greatly appreciated. We started off with the Mozambique Shrimp appetizer which is a savory, garlicky, and mildly spicy sauce. It is traditionally made by simmering butter, olive oil, copious amounts of garlic, onion, white wine, and Sazón seasoning often with saffron or annatto, finished with hot sauce or peri-peri sauce. ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWING! For my meal, I ordered the Bitoque which is a classic, hearty Portuguese dish featuring a medium fried steak topped with a runny fried egg, served with chips, and vegetable rice, all tied together with a flavorful butter, wine, and garlic sauce. I was told it's a popular Portuguese comfort food. For dessert, I ordered my favorite Tiramisu!
