I've gone to my doctor in LA for the past 16 years because of how gentle and good she was. I've now moved to OC and looked up Pierce Aesthetics and saw good reviews so I had my cleaning today and man...they made my previous doctor look like a mongo. This place is professional, friendly, clean, modern, techy, and most importantly, the doctor doing the cleaning (Dr. Amy) was soooo good. Usually I'm in a really uncomfortable state, with eyes closed, counting seconds to when the cleaning is done, but she worked so well, fast and no bs conversations, just focused on her job (the reason we go to a dentist) & was probably done in 10mins. Then I saw Dr. Pierce, who was super nice, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I got the sense that everybody there has been educated in the last 10 years, so you don't have doctors dealing with your mouth like they're working on a car engine, the way older doctors trained in the 70s-90s do. They've been trained with new technology, and a more patient centered approach...which I'm loving so much. I feel like I could get a cleaning every month. And...Dr. Pierce looked at the condition of my teeth and made reasonable recommendations as opposed to my old doctor who kept suggesting procedures to make more money off of me & my insurance. Will be coming here in the future for sure. And they followed up with a thank you text & when my prescription had been sent to the pharmacy. I mean...somebody, give this office an award or something! I made an appointment at pierce Aesthetics dental because of their amazing reviews. I am sorry to say that I don't get how they have such rave reviews after my experience. I went for my first appointment and was pleasantly surprised by how nice the office looked. I got the x-rays done which went smoothly but this is where this review takes a turn for the worse. After waiting for twenty minutes for the doctor he came in and had not even looked at my x-rays. He asked me if I had any issues to discuss with my teeth I was surprised. I explained a couple issues and he again asked if I had any other question? I asked him if I had any cavities knowing from a previous dentist that I had two that still needed to be taken care of. He told me I did not . I went to the front desk to schedule my next appointment with root canal specialist and cleaning . I asked if I could come at 10: 30 am but the front desk lady said I needed to come in by 9:00am because the cleaning and the consultation together will take longer. I confirmed coming at 9am for the next appointment. However , I received two text messages the day before my next appointment . The first message told me to come at 9am, the second message was two hours after and they texted me that my appointment was moved to 10:30am. I got confused so I called and asked. I wonder why they didn't explain the reason of switching time and left me puzzled. This seems odd because I was told originally I needed to come in earlier. When I came in and finished my consultation with the specialist I was waiting for the cleaning but they said I didn't schedule for the cleaning. I was shocked. I went to the front and asked the lady why and went over our last conversation with her and she just was like "oh I must have made a mistake". No apologies just wanting to reschedule my cleaning. Not only was she non apologetic but she never even reached out about moving my time that day. Just a text. Needless to say I am not impressed. read more

Above and beyond.. is the best description for Dr. Pierce's practice. From the staff, to the beautiful modern decor, Dr. Pierce has managed to change my view of dentistry. Dr. Pierce referred me somewhere else for root canal work in hopes of saving my tooth. This alone showed me that he was about the patient and not about profiting (he specializes in implants). Unfortunately my tooth was not salvageable due to a fracture. I came back to Dr. Pierce and was treated with the best possible experience I could have hoped for. WOW!!! Cant say enough about this place. It was easy to find, not too far from the freeway and let me tell you, I had to take an espresso and donuts they immediately offered me because for an 8am appt on a Saturday I was sleepwalking in there thinking I walked into a SPACESHIP!! Everything is state of the art from the iPads to the heated massage chairs. I mean WOW!!! The staff are very friendly and helpful with a solid plan for my dental needs. I didn't think they would take my insurance surprisingly they did being out of my network. I never had to wait for anyone they were always ready for me, staff rotation was on point considering how busy they were. Thank You Ginnie, May and Terry for a great visit. Incredible visit! I'm just as terrified as the next person when it comes to dental work, but Dr. Pierce and his amazing staff were wizards at explaining my treatment plan step by step to help me feel at ease. Not to mention their brand spankin' new, top of the line imagery equipment additionally helped me understand everything that was going on in my pie hole. Even better, the work I had done during my last recent visit went down without a hitch! I was scheduled for a root canal AND wisdom tooth extraction on the same visit. Either one of these procedures would instantly strike fear into anybody's heart..and I had both done..at the same time! Dr. Pierce expertly administered local anesthetic to help dull any pain sensation. I can honestly say it was the smoothest and painless procedure ever, even beyond my expectation. I think general deep cleanings are more painful. Only a few days since and I am recovering very well. Minimal swelling, bleeding and soreness as I type this. I was already back to eating my favorite foods a day after, though, probably not recommended. Still, couldn't be happier. To keep it short, Dr. Pierce and his crew have my full recommendation. I'm a nobody, but I was somebody that dreaded dentists just like you. And this office has instilled in me a comfort level that no other dentist office has ever been able to achieve. Went in yesterday, 1/8/2020, for a deep cleaning. Couldn't have been any happier, from the moment I walked in, to the moment I got out it was great. Clean lobby and facility also, state of the art technology, everything about it was great. Doctor was very honest with what work can be done now, which is why I got the deep cleaning, and what to hold off for later. I need my wisdom teeth removed and I'm definitely coming back here for that and more. Couldn't have been any happier, most people dread the dentist, but I'm looking forward to coming here more often. We were referred by a friend... the first impression when we came in was that the state of art facility and equipment, super nice awesome staff, everything makes us feel comfortable. Dr. Pierce is nice, professional, listens to what you are trying to achieve, rather than selling his ideas to you, not to mention how handsome he is. Even though it's a little bit drive from our house, we definitely gonna come back to him. We ended up had a tooth removed after X-ray, Dr. Pierce patiently explained why the tooth not worth of saving (tooth has bad cavity and infection, already started moving, and this is a last upper tooth without tooth on the bottom...), so instead of going thru painful and expensive root canal and still have a good chance of not being able to save it, he recommended remove it. It's crazy how I met Dr. Sean Pierce... I'm a local Uber driver in Orange County, I was doing Uber one day and I picked him up and gave him a ride home and we talked and he told me he was a general dentist as soon as he told me what he did I found out that he worked on a couple of my friends it seemed he was more than legit! I told him I needed some work on my teeth done and he was more than eager to help....I was embarrassed because I needed a root canal and I was scared lol he made me feel so comfortable and told me everything was gonna be alright and that he would make sure I wouldn't feel pain and be with me along the way he told me that "people are scared of two things, going to the Dentist and the Doctor" he was right. lol I still was kinda iffy because I didn't have a lot of money or had any good insurance or dental insurance so I thought I'd be screwed and I thought I was gonna have to pay an arm and a leg and be in so much pain. Yeah. Right. COMPLETELY PAINLESS! He guided me the right way and saved me thousands. As promised, I am writing another review for Dr. Pierce and his staff following my actual dental work, which was completed yesterday (10/29/2019). First, let me say I cannot believe it went so smoothly, that I did not run out screaming and that I actually had 2 molars removed without being put to sleep!!!!! What I failed to mention, in my 1st review, is that I am deathly afraid of going to the dentist!!!! Well Dr. Pierce and his outstanding assistant, Joe, spent at least 30 minutes before the extractions, bone grafts and stitches explaining every single thing that I would feel, hear and see! This caring conversation continued throughout the entire extractions and upon completion! Who does this anymore in our fast paced, texting, social media world? Well come to this office and you will find actual conversation, sincere conversation! Needless to say I left the office, very calm and armed with lots of aftercare information and my prescriptions. Last night was a little painful but today I'm happy I took care of the problem teeth and that it was done by Dr. Pierce and his outstanding staff. This office gets "2 thumbs up" from this patient!
