Travis and team are awesome. Let me just say that I did a bunch of research before deciding to go with these guys. After readomg horror story after horror story with other moving companies, I knew I wanted a dedicated team. More costly, but figured it was well worth it to ensure the smoothest move. I got several quotes from other companies and really liked the fast responses from Travis and the price was right. I like that they can transport cars as well, even though we ended up driving our cars. Travis was very prompt in our communications. He answered all of my questions and right up to the day of delivery he was on it. He was even flexible in letting us start a little later in the morning, to give us time for last minute stuff. We were doing a big move. Edmond and team showed up. Turns out it was Edmond, brother and father (Bo). They called ahead of time to let me know they were on the way. Showed up right on time. Edmond was very professional. Walked the house with me to get a lay of the land and understand what we had. We were organized, by having everything already packed up and staged. We did need their help with wrapping the large furniture and fragile things (lamps, TVs, etc.). Once he walked everything, they went to work. And let me say, these guys are efficient. I have made several moves, but these 3 guys were no joke. They knew exactly what they were doing and all they needed were the normal guidance, but otherwise, they did their thing. Travis also came to the house and introduced himself. He explained everything and made sure to let us know that we were in good hands with his team. We shot the breeze a little bit and I got to learn how he started his business and his experience. He's a good guy. Now Bo, Edmond's father is hilarious. He's a character. Great personality and funny. He should be proud of his 2 sons. Edmond is super professional and takes his business very serious. And Bo's younger son just kept plugging away. They finished loading the truck right around the time that Edmond estimated and then they took off to drive to our new house. I was blown away that they got everything on the truck, with some room to spare. They wrapped everything very well. They loaded very methodically. Again, they are efficient and fast (but not fast in a bad way). The unloading was just as efficient. Showed them where everything was supposed to go and they did what they do best, equally efficient and even quicker. These guys made our move as smooth as possible. We feel blessed to have worked with such a great crew. Nothing was broken. There were some minor rubs and marks on a couple of items, but that's to be expected with our large move. From one 2 story home to another. There were also some very minor marks on a couple of walls, but again, you cannot expect to not have that happen. Heck, after they were finished unloading, I was moving one of my night stands and really scraped up the wall (ouch). But all-in-all, these guys were great. I would absolutely use them again. And for sure recommend them. They are very professional, efficient, and know how to move. We did a large move and they did a great job. I CANNOT say enough good about this moving company. I reached out to them through Yelp literally eight days prior to a (very intimidating) move from San Diego to Texas, which had already been booked for months with a large moving company. I began getting cold feet with this other company when some MAJOR red flags started popping up, and at the last possible minute I knew we had to find an alternative...even if it meant losing our $2,000 deposit with this other company. Travis responded within only minutes of my estimate request, and said I could call him (after 9:00 at night), and by the end of that 20 min. call I *knew* I was in good hands. I won't go into much detail beyond that, mainly because there really isn't any to give, that's how simple it truly was! Travis and his amazing team made this move an absolute dream, a "piece of cake", from start to finish. Nothing broken or damaged, no hiccups along the way, no complaints. The added bonus was that using this company saved us hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (and yes, I fought the previous company until they gave my deposit BACK!!). We hired Pierce & Co to help move my parents from San Diego to Florida. I am posting this to share how this company is taking advantage of 2 disabled seniors, one of whom is a Veteran of the US Army. Travis, in whom was our main source of contact and the owner of the business, lacks all decency. The fact that he didn't return any phone calls or voicemails is reprehensible. We have even left messages with his worker (Edmond) to have him return our phone call - but he did not! From the very beginning, Pierce & Co never showed up to deliver our moving cartons as scheduled. They said that, "they forgot." When they finally did show up they brought cartons that were the wrong size and didn't bring enough for all our items. They then gave my parents boxes that were not the correct size they had paid for to make up the difference. (Not to mention, about the workers stealing a full can of Lysol spray from my high risk elderly parents, in the midst of Covid). On the day of the move, Travis the owner was present and was helping pack our items. With the owner of the company being present we trusted that our items would be packed carefully and correctly. We also trusted that if anything was not correct then he would notify and follow up with us. As we started unpacking at my parents new home, we discovered broken items which were both fragile and expensive. They broke a 3 foot tall ceramic snow cheetah, made in Italy. This item should have been packed ALONE with blankets and bubble paper, yet it was NOT. It was crammed into a wardrobe box with a Cuisinart food processor next to it. So obviously the pressure of the food processor next to the porcelain cheetah was too much and the bottom of the porcelain cheetah cracked. What mover would EVER pack a porcelain item with a food processor? They also broke a Lladro porcelain that was bought in Spain in 1972, due to incompetent packing technique. We are all aware that NONE of these items were cracked or broken prior to them being packed. Because again, Travis (the owner) was present at the time the items were packed at their home in San Diego. AND travis, himself, also acknowledged that the broken items were intact at the time of the packing. The good news is that both of these items can be replaced but they are both valued to replace at $1,350- each, plus tax. Pierce & Co is now refusing to take full responsibility for this.My parents paid for an additional $10,000 of insurance for valuable/fragile items. But they are refusing to pay the full amount. What was the purpose of buying additional insurance if they are not even going to honor it? Piece & Co says that they never received an itemized list of our items and their value, so they can not pay for the value of the actual items that were broken and damaged. Travis now has taken a position that because we never submitted this list up front, he is dividing the number of items we shipped into $10,000-telling us that each item is worth only $268. Pierce & Co should have never knowingly packed and left without this list and should have followed up. That NEVER happened!! As the owner the company the responsibility lies with Travis! He and his workers proceeded to pack items incorrectly, resulting in damaging them and now they don't want to be responsible and pay their full value, even with having additional insurance. If we would have known this then we would have packed our own items, but instead we trusted Pierce & Co to be a professional, reliable and reputable company, but obviously they are NOT. NO ONE SHOULD EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. . read more

Moving is always a stressful experience, but Pierce & Co was extremely helpful and flexible, which is exactly what we needed. We were in a nightmare escrow situation, and the closing date kept on getting extended, resulting in us having to relocate 3 times into different Airbnb's until we could actually get keys. So we did not have have a hard offload date, but P&C was totally cool with that. To make things more complex, my wife and I are planning on opening up a small little coffee shop sometime in the near future, so our garage was full of commercial appliances and junk. Several moving companies flat out refused to help once I mentioned I had commercial appliances because they're too heavy. But P&C totally took care of that too! The cherry on top was, having a 2 year old toddler, we had a lot of junk that we didn't realize. But P&C took that in stride and packed it all away without any issues. I've heard of some nightmare mover stories, but P&C was absolutely professional, courteous, respectful, and very importantly mindful of COVID-19 and time. They moved efficiently and did not waste a minute. For anyone with a complex move like we had, I would highly recommend Pierce & Co. You guys, I promise you, this is THE BEST moving company! Yelp can probably confirm how many quotes I received, conversations I engaged in, and companies I interviewed for my move. Pierce & Company gave me a flat rate / no surprises / all-inclusive quote (this is their business model), and it was LOWER than all the other quotes I got (all of which had a real potential of going higher after it's all said and done). I actually was so puzzled at first that I was even hesitant to respond, as I was convinced there must have been some sort of a catch. There was no catch!! They moved me from Carlsbad to LA, scheduling and paperwork was like piece of cake (everything is digital and mobile and takes 2 seconds), showed up on time, helped me pack and organize some loose last minute items (at no additional charge) and moved my stuff promptly, carefully, patiently and with utmost professionalism. Side note, a few days before the move i ended up selling some of my furniture, and I called the Owner of the company to let him know that my move will be smaller than i originally thought. I said it because I thought maybe they can bring a smaller truck, which would be more convenient etc. To my surprise, the Owner recalculated his quote and gave me a nice discount! They are such honest, decent, honorable people, it was incredibly heartwarming to see, especially in these times. I have had to move and relocate for work a lot in the past, so much so that this was easily my 10th-12th moving company I've had to deal with over the last decade. Pierce & Company is BY FAR, my absolute favorite. As a matter of fact, this was my first move that wasn't stressful!! I moved from San Diego, CA to Visalia, CA; although I was unable to be present for my move, they took pictures of all my items even as it went into the truck and when it was in the truck in order to offer my peace of mind. They wore masks and shoe covers during their move, they were extremely careful with all my items, from the expensive items to the cheap items everything was treated with special care! Edmond and Travis did a phenomenal job! They were very professional and communicated with me throughout the entire process. They even sent a photo of my items in storage. They handled my belongings carefully and thoughtfully. My furniture was wrapped and my artwork was packed so that not a single thing was scuffed. Edmond and crew were professional and courteous, took care to pack all my fragile belongings with lots of paper/bubble wrap. My move ended up being bigger than we'd initially estimated too, since my kid had some medical issues and I wasn't able to purge as much as I'd wanted to. I highly recommend Pierce moving. I had a unique situation in which I had a 780 lb spa delivered to my rental. The freight company told me that due to the virus, they will would leave the spa in the alley. This was a huge problem for me. I had remodeling going on there too. I needed a back up plan so the spa didn't stay in the alley and special equipment would needed. I contacted Pierce and Company. Travis emailed me several times and assured me they would be the back up and move the spa ASAP if needed. He was very responsive to my emails and contacted me several times. The Pierce movers made the agony of moving almost enjoyable (almost). Calm, professional and efficient. Travis Pierce worked perfectly in synch with our schedule, which was fairly complicated. He promised to get our stuff to our new Tennessee home on a certain date and certain time and kept that promise. Our furniture and boxes were unloaded without damage to the items or to the home (well, some minor scruffs which he promptly had repaired). As you can imagine, a move from San Diego to 2200 mile away TN creates a lot of anxiety. Pierce & Company did everything possible to alleviate that anxiety. They gave us a head's up they were inbound, showed up nice and early, gave us kind pointers for our long-distance drive, and were way too fair about pricing - they only charge for the time they use, and they waste none of your time. There are no hidden fees - places say that, but Pierce & Company actually mean that. Beyond that, it's also worth mentioning that we were paying purely for their moving services with a U-Haul we'd already rented - not all places are willing to do that, as it's less financially enticing to them. Edmund and Travis didn't mind at all, and were very understanding. Would definitely recommend this moving company! Travis was very communicative and responsive and came on 12 hours notice to move some furniture. They arrived on time, were very professional and courteous, and even stayed extra quiet to not wake up my baby. They took very good care of my furniture and took time to shrink wrap and cover the the dresser which is large and awkward and I was worried about it getting banged up. I was so pleased that Pierce & Company were able to help me with my move. I was driving a Uhaul down from San Francisco and needed a team to unload it and move me into my new house. I was arriving Sunday evening and most moving companies declined to help at this time. Not Travis from Pierce & Company - he was super responsive by email and even got on the phone with me to assure me the move would be smooth. He explains that even if it got dark he had floodlights he could put out to ensure the move was complete that same day. These guys rocked. Travis , Edmond, and Edmond Sr were on point from day one with the original quote by Edmond. I chose them upfront because they were only ones who made the quote process super easy. I had them pack my house up, move it, and store some gym equipment which they dropped off later. These guys were friendly, on time, communicative, careful with our stuff, and efficient. I didn't make this move easy on Travis and his team: cross-country, middle of a pandemic, nothing was packed for the move - and I wasn't even in the state when they came to collect my stuff. Didn't matter, they handled absolutely everything, were so efficient at packing that my ex-girlfriend texted me to rave about them, and got all of my stuff from San Diego to New York safely. They were so careful that even a mug that they packed which was *already cracked* didn't break even an inch more. And all this for less than anyone else was quoting.
