When we arrived, more of the jewelry was missing. He had melted it without consent, a record of it, an estimate, or an offer! We were looking for an estimate and were not sure that we would go through with melting some of the pieces and we planned to get a few more estimates. We never had the opportunity. The price offered after it was melted was pathetic. Completely unethical. Beware!
