Had the pierogi variety and all of them were amazing. And the display: quite colorful.

Decided to try something different and found this place. And if you want different you've come to the right place. The menu shows the actual pierogi size so you know what you're getting. What's nice is that you can mix and get whatever you want. So I ordered one of each of the six different kinds of pirogies. It's what they call the mountain. My reviews are based on 3 criteria's. 1. Ambiance 2. Service 3. Food The place reminds me of the 1970's pool hall. But without the pool tables. It's an open ceiling and even with the lights the place is dark. Some of the tables need to be replaced or redone. It's a very casual environment. The service is friendly and we met Van. He was happy to explain how we can order. Very personable and pleasant. Go easy on the cologne. The food was delicious. No doubt about it. They serve more than just pirogies so you're bound to find something to satisfy your appetite. Would I come back? That would be most likely I would. Happy hour is everyday 3-7 so just a little tip. Check your final check to make sure that reflects it.

Great experience from start to finish. Bartenders greeted me as soon as I walked in. It's open seating wherever you want. There's a large variety of traditional and seasonal pierogi to choose from. Schnitzel sandwiches, poutine, traditional noodle dishes with gravy. TONS of vegan options! You can pretty much make anything on the menu vegan. Allergen descriptions are listed. They have a variety of draft beer, bottles/cans, cocktails, n/a drinks, and soft drinks. I ordered a potato, sauerkraut, mushroom pierog and a Jamaican jerk sweet potato pierog. Came with grilled onions and vegan sour cream. The side salad I ordered was incredibly fresh and had carrot, tomato, cucumber, and fried shallot. I also ordered a small order of the poutine with mushroom gravy and vegan cheese sauce. The poutine is soooo good!!! Service was great and very attentive.

Came in for $1.50 Tuesday pierogis. They were soo good!! My favorite I think was the tomato / basil one. Awesome job!!

We went for the sampler of one of each of the pierogies. I fear I don't remember what each one was called. There was one that had cinnamon, not my favorite. And there's one that had jalapeños, which is still burning my tongue. All in all the pierogies were delicious. Though it appears to be dark, it is very comfortable and welcoming. Feels like you're being cocoon with love.

I'm in town for some work meetings and arrived fairly late on a Monday night in December and it is freaking cold (I live in S.F. California and have become a winter weenie) and I'm hungry for something other than nearby pizza. I got the "recommended list" of nearby restaurants from the Marriott property I'm staying at but I did my own research on Yelp and found this gem of joint ! Walked over and Lori was at the bar and she took great care of me. As others note, it is kind of hidden behind a market so be vigilant and you'll find it. Decent list of beers and drinks and they apparently swap out the beers on tap often and the price points are fair ! Special mixed drinks are also only $10 and they also seemed well constructed and well thought out. But let's get to the reason I was there - Pierogi's !! I used to hit the Ukrainian and polish places in Alphabet city in lower Manhattan New Yawk but those were Classic style and these are inventive and clever and actually quite tasty. They had about 10 different ones to try and I got an assortment and each one was actually quite tasty and unique - The brown butter one and the corn and green bean one were lovely and they came with sour cream on top and some sautéed caramelized onions ! Yum - and for $2.25/each a decent price. The pot roast on noodles ($13) was also a solid portion and done well. I would have liked all of the food a little warmer but all in all delicious. Staff (Lori at the bar) was friendly and helpful and I noted that tuesdays they have a reduced price deal on all the pierogis ($1.50) and drink specials and happy hour deals as well. Plus they have a clever tee shirt riffing a favorite teenage band of mine (Joy Division) for $20 I had to also get ! Tomorrow I'm back for more bargain pirogies and perhaps the chicken paprikosh or poutine ! Glad these folks are here - perhaps an outpost in the Bay Area ? Let's talk !! Do yerself a favor and hit this place up.

We've been meaning to stop by Pierogi Mountain and found the perfect time after a visit to the art museum ended right around lunch time. We placed an online order and were quoted 20 minutes, which was right on. Everything was hot, ready, and well packaged when we arrived. We opted to go with the classic potato and cheddar pierogi, which came cooked to a golden brown, with a small cup of caramelized onions and a package of sour cream on the side. We also went with the seitan schnitzel sandwich (they also offer beef), which was a great option to see, and a side of fries. The fries were cooked crisp with a nice seasoning on them. The seitan schnitzel was loaded up with sauerkraut, tomato, and lemon mayo. Everything was tasty and much enjoyed. The restaurant itself had a nice vibe with a cute little patio. There is a parking lot available.

After a quick hangout with the coworkers, I let them know I was starving and needed some food. We came to Pierogi Mountain since it was close and open. I have never known that this place was right behind the Hills Market. I work down the street. Anyways this place had immaculate chill vibes since the spooky decor was definitely on brand and made me excited for the food. We got service immediately with a round of waters to start. I ordered the Cider Pot Roast meal with a sauerkraut and egg noodles. And a round of unique ingredients handmade Pierogis: Potato Kraut and Mushroom, Samosas and Jamaican jerk sweet potatoe. All unique and all good. They are small but a great reason to get a bunch. Beer is cold too. 5 stars!

I had a very pleasant evening here, arriving early in the dinner rush and then staying since it was comfy, it was cool and the place never completely filled up to the point where I'd have been taking a table from a paying customer. Super easy to choose a plate of pierogies, going with one of each from the menu. I'm not an idiot - I skipped the "Ghost Pepper" one but did get one of each of the rest. It didn't take long and they arrived on a plate, perfectly presented with a squiggle of sour cream and accompanied by a small pile of sauteed onions. My favorite was the classic Potato Cheddar, just delicious with sharp cheese and a hint of paprika. So yummy. Great friendly service and terrific food. It's five stars for me. Hungarian Poutine with mushroom gravy

Fantastic food and service! We tried a variety of food today including: one of each pierogi on the menu (6), sauerkraut balls (3), Haluski noodles, Hungarian Poutine with mushroom gravy, and the pot roast over noodles. Our bill was $66 and worth every penny.

As non-drinkers, we generally avoid bars, but we made an exception for "Columbus's only Polish-themed gay bar" (if it's good enough for Weird, it's good enough for us). We were not disappointed! The menu had a good mix of traditional Polish food with some modern twists. We appreciated the variety of non-alcoholic beverage options also. The vibe, of which the art vending machine is a key feature, is definitely unique. It seemed like the staff genuinely enjoyed being there (probably in part due to their living wages), which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

Last night I met up with my ladies at Pierogi Mountain for a girls' night of drinks, dinner and trivia. I love this little local spot for Polish yums and we had a great experience--amazing food, service and entertainment--you can't go wrong! The pierogi menu has a variety of creative options that cater to different tastes and cuisines, including vegan. Whether you're a traditionalist who enjoys classic potato and cheese pierogi or an adventurous foodie willing to try unique flavor combinations, Pierogi Mountain has something for everyone! (And they don't just have pierogi!) I started off with one of their beer can specials--a 16 oz. Saucy Brew Works sour--for just $5.50. We shared some fries with ranch and their ranch dressing is thick and flavorful for dipping! For my main event, I tried the Potato Ruskie; Potato, Sauerkraut & Mushroom; Tomato, Balsamic & Basil; and the Aloo Vindaloo. They were served with sour cream and caramelized onions. They were all tasty and at $2.25 a pop, I think it's pretty reasonable. (Tuesdays pierogi are on special for $1.50 each all day dine-in!) Whether you're a pierogi connoisseur or a newcomer to this Eastern European delight, Pierogi Mountain is a must-visit. I left with a satisfied belly and a desire to return soon to explore more of their delectable offerings.

Saw this restaurant had been on Triple D so we had to try it! It wasn't very busy and the service was good. We started with the sausage and kraut balls and two of each of the different pierogi types. The kraut balls didn't have much flavor and didn't really taste much like kraut. The pierogi were good but nothing special. They were a tad mushy. The Jamaican jerk was definitely spicy! I didn't like the beet one, however, I do not like beets. The roasted garlic had A strong garlic flavor. My favorite was the potato cheddar! We were after our pierogi samplings.
