    Strawberry kompot

This is a welcome addition to the area. There's nothing else like it on this side of town. The pictures I had seen looked great, so a friend and I tried it out for lunch. I couldn't decide what to get, so I got the Polish platter and it was a nice variety and taste of different things. The pierogies were tender and flavorful, especially with the caramelized onions on top. The sausage was grilled to perfection with a nice exterior. The potato pancake was tender. I feel like it was a little mushier than I am used to but that might just be a difference in regional preference. I got a strawberry kompot to drink which was a special. We shared the blueberry pierogies for dessert and they were good and not too sweet. The space is tight but quaint and nicely decorated. One server was handling the entire restaurant and did a great job. I will be back to try different things.

We were excited to try Pierogi One, a new Polish restaurant that recently opened near us, and it absolutely did not disappoint! Having traveled to Poland ourselves, we've been searching for authentic Polish food here in Florida, and this is by far the most authentic we've found so far. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. I ordered the stuffed cabbage, which was hearty, comforting, and perfectly prepared. My husband went with the mushroom and mozzarella pierogis, and they were fantastic. My entrée came with two sides, and I chose the Polish pickles and French fries. The pickles had that perfect tangy crunch, and the fries were crispy and delicious. Every dish we tried was excellent. For dessert, we couldn't resist the chocolate pierogis, and they were the perfect sweet ending to our meal. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but that's part of its charm. It's cute, cozy, and welcoming. The service was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The food may take a little longer to arrive, but that's because everything is made fresh to order, and it's absolutely worth the wait. We'll definitely be back soon because I already have my eye on the schnitzels for our next visit. If you're looking for authentic Polish cuisine in Central Florida, Pierogi One is a must-visit!

Cute little place, very clean. We were seates quickly and our server was helpful and efficient. We had the pan fried pierogis. The spicy beef was especially tasty. We had the chicken and vegetable and also the vanilla cheese dessert pierogis. I wish they had an option to mix and match the pierogies and also an option to just get the stuffed cabbage as a stand alone. My ideal platter would be 3 or 4 different types of pierogis and a stuffed cabbage or two as an appetizer for 2 and then sausage with potato pancakes for an entree. But no complaints. Just have to go back and try some different stuff. Keep up the good work Pierogi One

Delicious new local spot! The staff was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The space was open and we felt right at home! We ordered many different kinds of pierogies and loved them all! The cheese/potato and mushroom/sauerkraut were my favorites and I can't wait to go back to try the potato/onion, mozzarella/mushroom and blueberry pierogis!!

We had a nice lunch here, the pierogis (potato) and sausage platter, and cabbage rolls were very authentic. We talked with the owner and server and they were delightful. Very bright, and colorful dining area. It is a good place for a comfortable meal.

As a Polish person who grew up with authentic Polish food, I was very impressed! The food was delicious and truly made me feel at home. The restaurant is nicely decorated, reasonably priced, and I loved that the menu wasn't overwhelming--it was easy to choose what I wanted. My only suggestion would be to have a few more Polish-speaking staff members to make the experience feel even more like a little piece of Poland in Orlando. Overall, a wonderful experience and I'll definitely be back!

Stopped here with my sons for an early dinner or late lunch. The place is small and the location I think is hurting them, but the decor was very cute. The house just and the servers were streaming knowledgeable and friendly. The place was very clean. It is small and or one table was filled after we sat down. Therefore, the kitchen would be busy, which explained why our food was kind of slow and coming out. While the food was good, I cannot honestly say it was authentic as some of it tasted like some items that I have purchased and made at home. The pierogies were small, but good if a little Bland. I'm used to eating potato pancakes with applesauce and or sour cream. They do not serve applesauce. The sausage was not homemade sausage even though it was tasty. The cucumber salad like flavor, and the dressing was kind of water down. The portions were good. The prices were very fair. The chicken schnitzel was extremely tasty and the favor of all three of us.

These are the best pierogi I've had in Florida! We had the potato along with the spicy beef, both delicious!

10000/10 experience. The restaurant is located in a business plaza, feels like it was the only restaurant there. When you walked in, immediate zen feeling. Very chill vibe -- the server was friendly and was working by herself doing a great job manning the tables. The ambiance was cute, felt really peaceful there with chill music and service. The food was absolutely divine!! We tried the potato & onion pierogis, the mushroom & mozzarella pierogis, and the Philly cheesesteak pierogis. All of them were a hit! We ordered the potato pancakes as well - they were delicious but my personal preference wanted them a bit crunchier all around! We also ordered a side of the pickles which were tasty! I loved that they had the option to take pierogis to go (in a pre made package) where you could freeze them at home and make them at your convenience. Super nice touch! We absolutely will be back because this is the only place I know of in Orlando to have delicious pierogis!!

Polish trio dish was the perfect start to trying Polish food. I have never had Polish food so this appetizer was a great sampler of the classic peirogi, potato pancake, and sausage - all of these were a 5 out of 5. My favorite was the meat peirogi. Stuffed cabbage (golabki) was hearty (5 out of 5). The tomato sauce tasted simple and brought the dish together. It had good ratios. My favorite was the mashed potatoes because it tasted like it had no additives such as heavy cream, but rather just straight potatoes. Cucumber and dill salad was a refreshing side. It was nice having fresh vegetables to balance the heaviness of the appetizer and entree. The seating arrangement is quaint, which I liked. Our waitress was very nice and answered our questions well. Service was quick. Everything we ate was as if everything was made from scratch from whole foods with someone's home recipe. I would 100% go again and try out their other dishes.

Dear Anna, I know…read morethis review is from our Mother's Day visit, and I'm sorry I wasn't able to get it to you sooner. I wanted to make sure you received it because we have been coming to your restaurant for the past 12 years and have always appreciated both the food and the service. On Mother's Day, when my son asked where I would like to eat, my immediate answer was, "Anna's." Because we had other commitments that day, we decided to order carryout instead. Unfortunately, the meal was extremely disappointing. I hate to say that because we have always enjoyed your cooking, but the quality of the food that day was far below what we have come to expect from your restaurant. We ordered two orders of potato pancakes, stuffed cabbage, pierogi, two pork schnitzel entrées, a Polish Platter, cucumber and dill salad, and a Polish beer while waiting. With the tip included, our total was approximately $160. The potato pancakes barely tasted like potatoes and had very little seasoning. The stuffed cabbage was very small and bland for the price. The pierogi were acceptable, although $17.59 for six pieces seemed expensive. The pork schnitzels were dry, and the Polish Platter was particularly disappointing. The cabbage roll was again bland and undersized, the sauerkraut was watery and tasted canned, and the sausage was tough and burnt. The one item we truly enjoyed was the cucumber and dill salad, which was fresh and flavorful. I completely understand that Mother's Day is an especially busy day for restaurants, and I realize that may have contributed to the experience. Still, we have never received food of this quality from your restaurant before, which is why it was so surprising and disappointing. In the past, whenever we visited, you were always in the kitchen, and we consistently enjoyed your cooking. This experience felt very different and honestly made me wonder if someone else had prepared the food that day. I'm sharing this with you because we have supported your restaurant and enjoyed it for many years. We truly hope this was simply an off day and not a reflection of the quality you want your customers to receive. I wanted you, as the owner, to have the opportunity to know about our experience.

She greeted me warmly as usual. Since I used to live in the Chicago-South Bend, IN area, I provided her a little garden flag from the Pierogi Festival I would attend when I was up in that area. She hung it proudly in her deli and thanked me for the gift. I thanked her for bringing authentic Polish food back into my life! I purchased the Polish kielbasa sausage again as well as the Polish ham. Both were exceptional the last time I purchased them. This time, I added frozen pierogies-one made with cheese and the other with sauerkraut. It reminded me of the pierogies my mom used to make, and I cannot wait to serve them for the holidays. I then asked Monica if she had any golabki (stuffed cabbage). She said, "I just made some fresh this morning." I purchased a package of three. I had two of them later that evening and they brought back great memories of my past. They were as good as babcia (grandmother) used to make! It's always fun and entertaining to stop in here and enjoy a laugh with Monica. If you want authentic Polish supplies, this is the place to go!

These wonderful people opened their kitchen to us in a way I've never experienced. Granted their dining space was limited and it was unused and unlit when we arrived. But with merely a flick of a light switch and we were treated to a level of culinary excellence this poor soul has never had the privilege to experience before and worries aside from a return trip may never experience again. The owner treated us like family, asking questions kindly as we appeared to be undoctrinated with the food. Unbeknownst to him our matriarch was Russian, and of course she ordered for us. I have no doubt though that you could walk off the street with no Russian interpreter ( my wife) and still have a lovely time. The beef pilaf...I could eat this endlessly. The beef is so tender and amazingly seasoned, you can tell care is taken with the preparation. With it the rice and carrots are a wonderful medley of sweet and savory. Anyone who has had fresh pickles knows there's just no comparison to the mass produced kind, and lucky is they served the pilaf with beautiful slightly sour dill pickle slices. The blinchink with beef was a wonderfully crisp pocket of savory flavors and perfectly balanced with a playfully spicy sauce. The Olibia salad was light and flavorful but oh so satisfying, and my god the rye bread they brought with it would bring tears to your eyes just by it's lonesome. A wonderful side effect of such a smaller venue is the attention you get paid by the staff. Can we say czar for a day? Food was coming out constantly, we never had to ask for a single concession whether it be drink, silverware or food. And although ordinarily such quick service might cause one to concern themselves with pre-made food of lower quality, i can assure you it isn't the case here. Everything, and i mean everything, from the in house compote and kvotz to the samsa was of the highest quality and freshness as soon as it hit the table. You know how olive garden likes to say " when you're here you're family"? Meanwhile when you actually go it's just a dull eyed college kid half heartedly tapping your microwave order on an iPad. Well here you really are, the owner went so far out of his way to ensure our visit was excellent. I am saying this without alliteration, the man hugged me twice. If you want the best Russian food you've ever had and simultaneously meet some genuinely wonderful people, l highly suggest this restaurant.

This was his first night and was equally as good as the primary server, except he had to get help on a few questions we had that related to how to use certain sauces etc. And he got the help very quickly. We started with the pork belly. Fried crispy on the outside and still tender on the inside. It was served with what looked like marinara, but it had an amazing spice mixture in it. Spices as in seasoning, not heat. The best pork belly I have ever had, I could eat just this, and if I were alone it would be enough. We had a cup of hunters soup and polish mushroom soup. Both were very good. I would skip those next time to save room for other things, but only because I would rather eat other things. There were enough tables to seat quite a few people without overcrowding anyone. As a main course we decided to split the polish sampler. 2 potato pancakes, 2 cabbage rolls, 8 perogies and a polish sausage. We didn't know how big the sausage would be so we ordered a side, we did not need it. There was so much food, we did not finish it all and my wife had some for lunch the next day, and still there was leftovers. The place is hidden in a 3 story shopping center, but well worth looking for.
