    Medium coffee to go?

When this location first opened it was amazing! The staff, service, food! Everything was great. I went weekly. Now? The staff have changed and they all seem extremely annoyed to be there. I asked for one of their toasted sandwiches. It came out cold, without any filling. All bread. I took it to the counter and after rolling her eyes, the server had it remade. It was scarcely better. I came another time with my daughter. Everything we ordered was bagged up to go, even though I said we would eat in. Not a problem - we took our items and found a seat anyway. But the looks we were given from the staff - as if we had the audacity to stay, when they clearly wanted us to leave. And what has finally tipped me off to where I won't go back.. today I ordered a medium coffee to go. Why is this my drink? It's a shot of coffee. I paid $5 for this?? I stared at it when the lady put it on the counter super confused. She confirmed it was my coffee so, I took it and left. Won't be going back. Such a shame.

Nice addition to the Ramsey Mahwah area. Plenty of parking in the lot out front in a brand new building. Tried the chocolate croissant and cinnamon roll. Both were fantastic and buttery. Can't wait to try some of their other options and maybe some bread. Very cool ambiance. Will try their coffee soon

Here's the corrected version of your text: You should consider carefully before choosing this location. I had two different experiences: one was quite good, but the other was extremely disappointing. I ordered a mango tart and a decaf latte. The mango tart was a bit off, so I asked to exchange it for a brownie or something else. The staff member informed me that the tart had been made over the weekend--this was on a Wednesday--so it was understandable that the crust was a bit soggy. She mentioned that there was no manager available and she couldn't offer an exchange or a refund. The ambience is beautiful, and it's a great place for coffee, but I would recommend avoiding the pastries unless they're freshly made.

I had been trying to find time to stop in here and I'm so glad I did! The service is very quick and the girls at the counter were very friendly and eager to help me navigate the selection. I landed on the cinnamon roll bc they are my go to at any coffee house. It did not disappoint but I do think it would be better warmed up. Coffee is decent. I love the blue velvet chairs and French vibe the whole place is going for, music and all. Looking forward to trying more pastries in the future!

Wow, what an amazing place. After making their way through Bergen county they opened another spot right in Northern Bergen County. Set an a little shopping wall with ample parking this French bakery is as authentic as it comes. As soon as we entered, and we were greeted with a big smile. The inside has cute little seating areas, and I was told they open to the outside once the weather turns warm. Weather you are looking for a coffee, tea or hot cocoa they will make it fresh for you on the spot. Despite how many amazing looking pastries and desserts we opted for a couple of macaroons and the almond croissant. Macaroons were cooked perfectly. The croissant was warm as it had just come out of the oven. The filling is a thick custard with the almond paste. I actually prefer that over those with strictly almond paste. It is quite large, so can easily be between two people. For three macaroons and the almond croissant it came to roughly $13. I will definitely return when in the area.

Brand new and exciting place for sweetie treaties. It's big inside but even cooler is the garage-style door that I assume they'll keep open when it's warmer. They were super nice to my kids and patient as they ordered like toddlers order (slowly). We got a whole bunch of macarons, a chocolate chip cookie and some croissants (one regular and one chocolate). It's rare to find a croissant this close to perfect outside of Paris but here we are. Everything was amazing. Including the berets the staff were wearing unironically.

The croissant was crisp and buttery! The pesto made everything fresh. Every bite was lovely.

Decided to try this new pastry shop. Was very disappointed with the chocolate filled crescent. Very little chocolate in it.

I recently decided…read moreto come here for a wedding anniversary dinner and was blown away by the service and the food quality. Started off with oysters, wine and fresh bread. I could tell that the butter was house made and asked for extra because it was that good. Had the beef duo as the main course. I found it to be satisfying and also much better value than the steak frites. All of the items I received were very detail oriented and as well as fresh. We were seated on one side on the restaurant that I believe was blocked off for more special occasions. The other side of the restaurant seemed to have tables placed more closely to one another. Our server consistently checked on us throughout the night to make sure we were okay. Overall I was very satisfied with the service that I received here as well as with the food.

Cool atmosphere, great energy, and good food! I also got super lucky with Hailey as my waitress. She sold me on just about every item on the menu... to the point where I completely handed over the decision-making to her. Yup, that's right, I told her what I liked and trusted her to pick my three dishes. And listen, when your name is on the menu for crafting a cocktail, I'm going to trust you to pick my meal too! Now for the food: the grilled octopus was amazing. Great flavor, perfect texture, and a really nice balance with the lentils. The shishito peppers were delicious, and the sauce that came with them added the perfect pop of flavor. The beet salad, however, was a little underwhelming. Unfortunately, it didn't have much flavor, so that one left me a bit disappointed. And then there was dessert. Oh man! Hailey did it again. She brought out the sweet corn cheesecake. Sounds weird, I know, but I had to try it. And yes, it definitely had sweet corn! It was a little too weird for my taste buds, but I'm glad I tried it.... Then came the Madeleines. Bite-sized, warm, and absolutely delicious. Fair warning: if you don't tell them to take the bowl away, you WILL eat the entire thing. Man oh man...so good!!! Overall, a really fun experience with a great atmosphere, good food, and a waitress who genuinely made the experience memorable. Kudos to Hailey for the great service and for knowing exactly what to recommend! She definitely made my night.

The word brasserie comes from the Middle French brasser, meaning "to brew," and Brasserie D honors that tradition with an extensive selection of beers, as well as a curated list of wines and spirits. The service, ambiance, and menu are quintessentially French, featuring classic dishes from across the regions--including specialties from Alsace. We began our feast with a rustic Pâté de Campagne, accompanied by cornichons, mixed greens, and toasted baguette. We also shared Hareng Pomme à l'Huile--smoked herring imported from France, served over warm, tender potatoes. The youngest in our party kept himself occupied with his Nintendo Switch and two generous helpings of Alain's world-class pommes frites. After careful deliberation, he declared them superior to McDonald's--a high honor in the world of six-year-olds. For mains, standouts included the hearty Beef Bourguignon, the tender Jarret d'Agneau (braised lamb shank with root vegetables in an orange-rosemary sauce), and the regional showstopper Choucroute Colmar--a robust dish of smoked meats and sausages served over sauerkraut. Brasserie D is a true gem--authentic, welcoming, and well worth the trip on Metro North for a meal that satisfies both palate and spirit.

Well, it looked a lot better than what it was. It was totally bland and certainly not a pound and a half of lobster meat. It was truly disappointing. We ordered some oysters which were fresh and tasty but that lobster salad was definitely lacking. All in all the first visit hands down was truly a nice affair but our second visit was disappointing. For me consistency is key , shouldn't be hit and miss

The staff was exceptional, polite, attentive, and very accommodating throughout our meal. A few things to keep in mind if you choose to dine outdoors: since you're eating in a garden, you may encounter a few ants or mosquitoes. It wasn't overwhelming, but it's something to expect. Also, the portion sizes are on the smaller side. As for the food, I thought it was good, but I didn't love it, especially considering the price. We ordered the crab cake, burger, crème brûlée, and venison. The crab cake and crème brûlée were both beautifully presented and delicious. However, the burger was undercooked, and my date found the venison to be quite dry. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for the ambiance and experience. The setting is romantic, peaceful, and unlike many other restaurants. While I personally didn't find the food memorable enough to justify the cost, I'd still recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful evening in a truly magical garden setting.
