I came into Bill Pierre Chevrolet to purchase my closed lease vehicle. It was a pre-arranged meeting where the inexpierenced salesrep told me they needed to inspect the vehicle prior to selling. I was told there was no fee for the inspection, so I agreed. When I arrived they took my DL and insurance and had me wait about 5-10 minutes. The salesrep and provided me a quote that $1000 above the lease agreement price and also included $150 doc fee and $750 for titling service (Wether this covered registration I am not sure). Well I was extremely agitated and said that I have a lease contract that states the payoff amount was all I had to pay and there was no contractual basis for the price increase. He went to the Sales Manager who came back and explained it was a required fee to cover the costs of the inspection and a small fee to the salesrep themselves. I said that I won't pay for it because, 1. I was told by the salesrep there was no fee, 2. I was buying the car as is with no additional warranties. The sales manager came back and dropped the price $400, but couldn't dropped the inspection fee entirely because it was a requirement to buy the car through them and it was standard for dealerships. I knew I could buy the car directly thru GMfinancial, but came in to speed the process and possibly estabilishing a good relationship for a future buy/sell when the market moves more in favor of customers. He told me it wasn't possible and I had to go thru a dealer. Well I did go thru GMfinancial and ended up paying only the lease price on the car, no document fees, titling AND registration fees for only $345. It saved me over $1500 dollars and cost any Bill Pierre dealership my business. I feel the dealership was misleading and directly lied to me, for a quick cheap buck. When the finance guy tells the customer to get additional auto protection for only an additional $30 a month and makes it sound like auto insurance that can be removed at any time, but doesn't tell you it will add $4000 to your $10,000 loan, even after you ask all the right questions, that should absolutely be illegal. Sleazy tactics by this group. Stay far, far away! I ended up getting another used car at Sandberg Volvo. The care and service I received was 1000 times better than Bill Pierre. I would not recommend this place to anyone due to their dirty way to do business, the sold me an MDX that was previously involved on an accident, I had to find out about this after bringing it to de Acura dealer to have it serviced as it was doing some rough noises on the front wheels, after confronting them they refused to give my money back and I end up trading it for a RV4 they told me they will send a check for the 3 last payments that I did on the MDX, that didn't happened neither. This dealership is not professional and will hide information and will not hesitate to put customers down in order to get their way. I bought a truck her about 2 weeks and was forced to buy warranty (even though I insisted that I didn't want/needed the warranty because it was $108 a month) for the truck in case anything mechanical was wrong. A day or two later I noticed that one of the windshield wiper spray didn't work and I called the see if they can do something about it since I just bought the truck, and they told me that they would have to charge 145$ to diagnose and then on top of that they would still charge me for the parts and labor. If that's the case then why the hell did you guys force me on buying the warranty if you were going to try to charge me anyways?? I've been trying to have 'JLarson' the sales guy who sold me the truck to help me out on canceling the warranty. That was on Saturday and it's Wednesday now. Nothing but excuses from him! read more

14 month update: our Ford Escape turned out to be clunker. Bill Pierre failed to mention when they sold the vehicle to us that this model and many other Ford models with the eco boost engine have consistent transmission failure problems. We were told the transmission that had just been replaced before purchase would be an asset, not that this model experienced systemic issues. Less than 20k miles later, it failed again leaving us with a totalled vehicle situation. "Sounds like bad luck. Noone could have seen that coming. Would you like to buy a new car?" No thanks Bill. We had seen a great deal listed online on their website but there had been a mistake and the price was listed for far less than intended. We worked with Theo to test drive and make an offer on the car; he helped make our case to their finance department and was able to get just above the price we had seen online. Buyer Beware We recently purchased a late model Mustang from this dealership. Over the last 30 years, I've purchased 15+ vehicles (new and used), but it was our first time ever dealing with them. We negotiated a final price with a $750 discount off the listed/sticker price online (which I made clear was a contingency for this purchase). I was happy with the deal and all seemingly went pretty well with the purchase as it ensued over the next few days, including our independent mechanic's check of the auto. It went well that is until we found out after signing the paperwork that the car had only one key. No one had ever informed us of this material fact thru the sales process (which lasted for about 3 days), including the finance manager, the site manager (whom we spoke with directly), nor the salesperson. It was simply and totally withheld. We only found out because we asked as we were getting ready to take the vehicle (literally in the seat) after the sale was completed. I complained about this omission to one of their managers a day or so after the fact, letting him know that I felt quite deceived, and that they really needed to disclose a one-key vehicle somewhere in the sales process (since a buyer naturally assumes there are two--especially for a relatively newer vehicle), to which he responded in a text and I quote: "If we paid to get second keys for all the vehicles we have that only have one key it would be terribly expensive. We reduced the price of the car for you $750 on the sale...Cost of key being 400-500 and we reduced the price 750. Not bad." Not bad? Unfortunately, it is VERY bad. First, while there is no issue with a one-key vehicle per se, there is a HUGE issue if this fact isn't disclosed anywhere or at any time during the extensive sales process. The issue here isn't that there wasn't a second key, but the fact that they never disclosed the missing (and quite expensive) second key. Also, and perhaps even worse, from the manager's quote (above) they actually appear to have done a price reduction in their negotiations with me while taking the cost of a second key into account on their end! On the other hand, I didn't have any idea of another $500 or so in costs that I would incur on the back-end of this transaction. In fact, I had made it quite clear that the $750 reduction was absolutely material to the deal and the ONLY way I'd take the car. I did not anticipate any other costs neutralizing/offsetting this reduction amount. We went back and forth a few more times via text over the next few days after the sale, but in the end they absolutely refused to budge. As I told them in the final exchanges: "I think you're taking a position that is not only unfair, but also detrimental...." (i.e. this type of very short-sighted treatment of customers can cost them far more than $500 in the long run). And in another text I said: "If this is your standard approach [i.e. withholding material information from your customers in a sales process] then you absolutely need to change your policy(s).....By doing this you're leaving yourself open to speculation that you're not operating with integrity on matters beyond a car key." It was most certainly a very unfortunate ending to this transaction, and it was one which left me with a bad feeling about this dealership. On purchases of this magnitude, honesty and integrity ultimately mean everything. Fortunately, the car (which we had independently checked), seems fine (knock wood); but if you are really planning on purchasing from these folks because they seemingly have a "good deal", I'd be very careful and extremely circumspect. read more

Chevrolet brand is fantastic. The sales crew needs a lot of work on hospitality. I bought there but felt like I was a huge annoyance to the crew. My recommendation will not be Bill Pierre Chevrolet. It was the worst buying Experience I've ever been a part of. It's was upsetting to me and my wife. We almost walked out. I found it very uncomfortable giving a good survey. I felt it wasn't warranted but I felt the new sales person was obviously unaware of the deal and the survey was on her. Bill you should look into the overall experience and those who represent your business. The car was dirty inside and out. I bought an extra detail only to find the windshield a mess and a missing floor mat. I was told were I could go and find it at some detail shop down the street. Buyer beware - have your own mechanic look over any used vehicle from Bill Pierre Chevrolet. While they got me a great deal on the car I wanted, it came with some headaches after, which were luckily resolved by another dealership that actually cares about its customers. I had absolutely no support after the purchase despite their verbal promises that they'd fix some cosmetic issues and check my other mechanical complaints. Additionally, they tried to sneak in additional warranties in their financial department, so take your time reading everything despite them asking you to sign quickly. I wouldn't recommend any of my friends or family purchase a car here. read more

This is the worst car lot I have ever been to. I Was told we were approved for the truck we were going for by the general manager erica what the terms would be and what my payment a month would be. Then we're told to wait 4 days to have the paperwork done by the bank . I went in to Bill Pierre Chevrolet to test drive a car, they suggested that I leave my car and keys with them while I was on my test drive so that they could do an evaluation to give me a trade in value. I was gone for about 30-40 minutes. When I returned, I told them I was not interested in the car and asked for my keys back and I was going to grab something to eat and possibly come back. I drove about 1 block away, grabbed something to eat and when I pulled out of the parking lot of the restaurant, my check engine light started flashing (this had not happened before). My daughter googled it and it said that the car was loosing power and pull over immediately and call a tow truck. I believe something was done to my vehicle while it was at the dealership. I barley made it to the next dealership, where I did purchase a vehicle because I don't think I would have made it home. Will never give my service to Bill Pierre. I don't believe it was a coincidence that my car started having problems, I had no problems before this and drove it from Tacoma to North Seattle to look at the vehicle they had for sale. read more

I needed an oil change, it was going to cost me $70. I had called earlier & asked if I had a free one possibly? I just bought my car back in March. I was told no unfortunately since whoever had the vehicle before me used both free oil changes. I still scheduled the appointment & went in. I remembered I also had my second FOB on me & it had recently quit working. I changed the battery but it still wouldn't work. I know those FOBS could be around $300-$400 if you lose it, but I didn't think that much if I were just swapping one out...anyways, I recently gave birth to twins & anything financially helps! This nice gentleman named Mitch in the customer service department was super nice & helpful & told me he would cover the cost of my oil change & get me a good deal on the second FOB. On Sunday April 23rd 2023. I went in to Pierre Chevrolet to look at and ultimately purchase a used car that I was extremely interested in. While the salesperson was great the finance person on duty that day was not. I'll say right now if you do business with them know that they're going to try to slip extended warranties and other coverages and services at an extra cost into your final bill with no discussion about these items during the sales process. They're trying to blind side you and catch you off guard and run up ll which only puts money in their pocket and gives you very little in return. The one thing that stood out in my transaction was they were going to try to charge me and unfortunately they did $4,500 for a two-year 24,000 mile all-inclusive protection warranty. Now the problem with that is I drive my personal vehicle for my job. I do 5,000 miles or more every 6 weeks. So I would burn up that warranty, the 24,000 miles in 6 months or possibly less if you do the math I'm basically throwing away over $3,000. They can laugh all the way to the bank but they have give me a reason to get activist against these types of practices. Letters to this State attorney general's office and my local state representatives are forthcoming. THEY RIPPED OFF MY GRANDPA HEAVY. PLEASE READ. My grandma who had shingles really wanted a Chevy Malibu cos the little SUV they had become hard for her to get into and would cause it to act up. My grandpa had also been diagnosed with congestive heart failure last year so getting around was tough. I went through the paperwork recently as it was clear my grandpa was on his way out. So one of these CLOWNS decided to sell my elderly grandfather, who just passed away this morning by the way, a new 2018 Chevy Malibu for $28,000 and not even a premier one or anything special. The trade in value for their 2010 suv thing with 60k miles on it was 5,000 motherfucking dollars. Are you still with me? All said and done the price for this completely average car was $23,000 which is barely below the MSRP they claim on this model on their website ($24,000). This could've easily been sold for thousands of dollars less and then my grandparents would've had much less to pay off. Which seems pretty reasonable for two 80 year olds on FIXED INCOME! My grandma (who also recently died), bless her heart, did a $3,000 downpayment and now there's $20,000 left on the car to still pay off. I reiterate it's totally fucking average and barely below the MSRP. I'm fucking furious. I get that car salesmen are complete trash who live off of commission, but how fucking DARE YOU completely and utterly rip off an 82 year old man limping in here trying to get a car that was rated highly for seniors and easier for them to get into! If I could do something that wouldn't cause me to get charges pressed against me I would. BET. DO NOT. EVER. GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. This review gets 4 stars because our salesmen was absolutely fantastic, otherwise it would've gotten 2.5. Our salesmen, Sam Lange, was the best. He was communicative, honest, funny, and very nice. He's new to the car business, but it seemed like he'd been doing this a whole lot longer. He didn't give us any BS or anything like that, so we definitely recommend him. As for the business part, the dealership part of our experience was okay. Our main issue was just with the service department. We purchased a vehicle that came in without any safety checks or anything like that. Before being able to take the car home, service had to go over it. Well one thing that was needed was an oil change, they said they did it. Great. Well while driving, our new vehicle states it's low on oil. So that's kind of fishy. Did they really do an oil change or just say they did? As for the people we had to deal w in service, they just didn't really seem like they knew what they were doing. This is the abbreviated version of my very unpleasant car buying experience at Bill Pierre Chevrolet: When I first arrived at Bill Pierre Chevrolet (I had an appt.) I found my brand new Impala sitting in the parking lot of the dealership....dirty and unwashed. My salesman asked me to fill out a credit form and before I did I told him I did not want a credit check done because I already had financing and approval set up and did not want an unnecessary hard inquiry on my credit report. As soon as I got home that night I checked my credit report and found a hard inquiry from Bill Pierre Chevrolet. When I sat down with the finance manager in his office he was going over the paperwork quite quickly and not explaining anything on the buyers order. I first found a $695 charge for Perma Plate and a $299 charge for Theft-Gard listed under dealer options. I inquired to this finance manager as to what these were and he told me that the Perma Plate was part of my registration/licensing etc. fees. Then I told this finance manager that nobody had mentioned the products to me, I had never heard of them and told him that I did not want them. He adjusted the charges. It took more than 4 hours (during which time not one person offered me a drink or told me where the bathroom was) for my entire car buying transaction to get completed. There were no floor mats in my car whatsoever. None of the original carpeted mats and none of the all-weather premium mats that were listed as an included option were in the car. I was sent home in the Impala with no mats whatsoever. I also noticed that there were fine particles all over the paint of the car as it was all rough to the touch. I contacted the dealership immediately about my paint concerns. The finance manager contacted me on Saturday (June 2nd, 2018) and asked me to bring the car back to them (I live 50 miles away) so they could check it out and discuss any concerns I had. After I arrived on Saturday (June 2nd, 2018), I asked the finance manager again (my research the night before suggested that Perma Plate was an automotive protection product, not part of my registration/licensing etc. fees as the finance manager originally told me) what the Perma Plate was and this time he told me it was an automotive protection product. I then asked him why he told me the day before that it was part of my registration/licensing etc. fees and he said he must have been "confused". I don't believe that he was confused, he's been doing this job for 16 years (according to him) and this product is not a new offering by Pierre Chevrolet. After the finance manager verified the Impala paint was unsatisfactory he didn't say much and seemed ready for me to leave. So, then I told the finance manager I'd like to go into his office and to reconcile my numbers because I wasn't convinced he had been honest with me. I confirmed he had lowered the price of the car by $500 and removed the $150 doc fee (total $650) as part as my compensation for not wanting the Perma Plate ($695) and Theft-Gard($299)(total $994). However, there was the remaining amount of $344 ($944-$650) that I wasn't sure where it went. So, I asked the finance manager about this and he said "oh, I paid part of your taxes". I was then given a free rental vehicle (I had to pay for the fuel) to use while my new car was having the paint corrected. So I drove all the way back home that night. Several days later I returned to Pierre Chevrolet to pick-up my new car. The finance manager had said he was going to have someone meet me halfway "or something" when it was time for me to get my new car back. Someone would allegedly meet me halfway and I would give them their rental back and they would give me my new car. This never happened. When I got home that night I got thinking and I didn't see how the finance manager paid that three hundred fifty something dollars of my taxes like he said he did. I then realized that nobody had ever told me how much the original sales tax was and never told me what my trade credit was (I should have been told these numbers). That's when I knew if I had these numbers I could confirm if the finance manager had paid that three hundred fifty something dollars like he said he did. This is when I started asking the finance manager for these numbers and this is exactly why he kept stalling on giving them to me. He knew that once I had those numbers I would figure out he hadn't paid part of my taxes like he said he did. I sent numerous emails to the sales manager during all of this and he never responded. I also sent emails to most of the management staff of Pierre Chevrolet and Pierre Ford trying to find out who the Pierre Chevrolet GM was and the only two people that responded were the GM and the Used Car Director. I asked the finance manager several times who the GM was and he ignored me. I eventually spoke with the GM and he apologized. It also took Bill Pierre Chevrolet three weeks to pay off my trade-in. read more

Avoid this dealership at all costs, their reconditioning process is inconsistent, customer service is incompetent. I inquired about a 10K mile Corvette Z06 and got a walk around since I live in Texas and couldn't personally see the vehicle. Inquired in writing about; tread depth, cosmetic conditions, and if the vehicle was stock with no modifications. In writing I received the following information - tires had 6/32nd, car isn't modified and in great condition. Once I agreed to purchase, they then informed me that they were increasing the price by 1K because I'm not a Washington resident and that if I agreed to finance with them they would accommodate the price they have listed (I have this in writing). I declined their financing so I was charged the extra 1K that wasn't disclosed in their ad for being a non-Washington resident. I purchased the vehicle and was transported to Texas to find several issues. The tires actually only have 3/32nd, came with intake and tune among other modifications, rotors gouged so bad that they can't be resurfaced, and sounds like the pads are in backwards, and flat passenger rear tire. Took 4 days of follow-up for an incompetent manager, Mr. Goldstein, to initiate the conversation with "Dude you bought a used car, what did you expect?" Asked to record the call which he declined, in which he became belligerent and completely unprofessional and I terminated the nonproductive call. My husband looked for months and months for a used GMC Canyon. He checked all over Washington and Oregon and finally found two Canyon's at two different dealerships and made an appointment at both on a Saturday. Our first stop was at Pierre Chevy with the sales associate; Beneyam. Beneyam greeted us warmly, had the truck waiting for us, and told my husband everything he knew about the truck. My husband went to work thoroughly checking the entire vehicle. Beneyam was patient, helpful, answered every question and gave us the keys for a test drive. We weren't certain if this was the truck for us, and we had another appointment to view the additional Canyon at another dealership, so Beneyam and my husband started talking pros/cons. When it came down to pricing, Beneyam made the entire process easy and smooth. We decided on a price and he agreed to install the running boards & a full tank of diesel as part of the negotiation. We never made it to the other dealership!! Our experience specifically with Beneyam at Pierre Chevy was outstanding. I usually don't write online reviews but since the sales manager (you know who you are) pathetically asked us to write a good review for him on yelp, halfway through our visit, I decided to write one that more reflected the truth of my experience with my Bill Pierre Chevrolet. Keep in mind my experience while there wasn't the worst. In fact Gursh, our salesman, was probably one of the most polite car salesmen I've ever had to deal with. My review directly reflects the Sales Manager. It started when I tried to obtain the spare key (something one would expect when purchasing a new or used vehicle) I thought we forgot them at the dealership after arriving home. To make a long story short instead of the dealership obtaining a key for me at thier cost (which I know for a fact is a fraction of what the consumer pays) I was told it was pretty much my problem now since I signed the paperwork, even though the missing key was never disclosed to me prior to purchase. And now I would have to spend and extra $304.10 for a spare key on top of the cost of the vehicle. Now this alone doesn't constitute a 1 star rating. The justification for my rating began with the correspondence that followed with the Sales Manager. He's rude, condescending and evokes an adolescent attitude when it comes to dealing with people. He even accused me of being a social media extortionist (not his exact words) by holding a bad review over his head if he didn't produce this key for me. Pathetic! I simply wanted him to tell me tell me whether or not he was willing to make this deal good and supply me with my spare key. I bought a used car from them in sep of 2020 and that was a big mistake from them Bad company shady less then 50 miles off the lot there was a shutter from the transmission and yes I did drive it before I bought it didn't feel anything but on my way home felt it took it back they gave me a loaner for about a week no codes they couldn't do anything about it I took it to them multiple times in the next coming months couldn't do anything about it not only did they hid the fact that the torque converter was going out I had to bring it to a moms and pops shop in town "Baileys complete automotive" highly recommend btw but they read the fine print and got them to pay for a 6k transmission rebuild and oil line that was leaking that they couldn't fine and a new ac compressor and had me come back after a few days to check in double check everything they were great f bill Pierre never agin on top of that ran my credit like 6 times so that was cool read more

I want to make this long story short lol First time we came here to buy a brand new car they didn't have the color we wanted so we asked them to find one we wanted to buy it right now They found one We asked to pay a certain price we were told no We're like well we can find the exact same thing for this price lol He said no it was impossible We looked on our phones found the exact same car for the price we were asking to pay We show him He said no that's not the actual selling price we're like it says it is so we call the other dealer and ask they said it was so we're like can you get this car for this price and we can buy it from you? He said no it would still cost the seven grand more he was wanting to sell it for So we drove one hour away Bought the exact same car brand new all the upgrades nothing different for almost ten grand less than they wanted to sell it to us.... Aight here's the run down. It's been a chaotic two weeks - TLDR, car got stolen from moving cross country and I guess this was the message from the 'higher ups' that I should probably get a new car. I remembered in 2011, when I first saw what I now label as my DREAM CAR. The Cadillac CTS Coupe. The booty on that thing got me hypnotized, really. And since that day, I told myself I will one day get that car. So fast forward to present day with my car getting stolen, doing a lot of research and only finding a small one handful of CTS's available in the Pacific Northwest. Most that were available, didn't have the things I was looking for. I ran into Bill Pierre's listing of a CTS and figured that this would be the one .. or atleast, I have to check it out. I corresponded with the sales consultant Kyle Norgard, and I was very pleased to have worked with him. After negotiating for two days, we finally came to the arrangement and I walked out with the car I've been eyeing for years. Yes, I went through the negotiating banter that is usually what you get from dealerships, and yes, I had to think really hard about what I did and didn't. Going through that is the process, and I enjoyed it. Kyle though, is the dude. He's not the prototypical sales man, and that sort of threw me off when I walked into the door, expecting numbers, cars, and mumbo jumbo shit to be thrown at me. Saw an ad for a car I'm interested but it said contact for price. I HATE that practice. Anyway, as I'm looking at the ad online a chat window pops up and asks if I have any questions. Yes, how much is the car and what kind of tranny is in it. They ask for my email and phone number, I give them my email address. They ask for the phone number again "as a backup form of contact..." I tell them there is no phone number. Crickets It's been about 4 hours and still no email with an answer to my question. Worst customer service I have ever had. If I could give zero stars I would. I have called 4 times in the last two weeks and still NO ONE has called me back. I have one question and each person I talk to says they need to ask someone and I will get a call back. Tonight I called and was told Nate the manager on duty would call me back in 30 minutes. José G. at the Bill Pierre Chevrolet is a-mazing! If you're anxious about buying or leasing a car from a dealership and have some "trust issues" like me with car salesperson, José is the guy for you! This is my third time leasing with a GM dealership in the Seattle area -- I come from a GM family and like to try and stay with the same company where my dad works. I've had some pretty bad experiences. A lot of times as someone who presents as young and cis-female, I get the run around and general dismissiveness from car salesmen. The last two times I was at a dealership it was so bad, I had my male-presenting partner join me. The way he was treated compared to myself was night and day. Last time, the experience was so bad, it included lying about even grounding my previous lease, being hit with a variety of surprise bills, and generally having to go back and forth for days on basic lease terms. This time was by far the most seamless experience I have ever had with a car salesperson. I called, told him exactly what I was looking for, and he went out of his way to find me every option that fit that bill. I even was able to do most of it from home since I knew the car I wanted and have been concerned about going to dealerships during COVID, with José generously staying in touch over phone and text to answer my questions, prepping the paperwork to make it painless when I got there, and being very transparent about every cost and rebate. I was a little bit paranoid after my last experience and wanted a clear paper trail for pretty much every cent -- he didn't make me feel bad about that at all, and it required no haggling whatsoever. On top of that, I got a great deal on the perfect car without having to go back and forth to get to that point. It made it easy to just make the decision and trust him on it. Plus, he was honest on what he could *not* do. I highly value that. Instead of promising on what he couldn't deliver, he was clear and fair on what he could and could not offer. The experience far exceeded my expectations. I always dread when my lease is coming to an end, anticipating the back and forth, having to check everything I'm told against what is actually available, being talked down to about "car basics", etc. This was the first time where it was painless, clear, transparent, honest, and even friendly and supportive. I didn't feel upsold or pushed at any point while still leaving with a great car and a fair price. I can't recommend José enough! He has definitely earned my customer loyalty and recommendation to anyone looking for a fair, painless car sales or leasing experience.
