While my husband and I were at the Hamptons, I was looking for a French restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Despite the bad reviews, I still made reservations at Pierre's since the menu looked good. This place is a charming French bistro in the heart of Bridgehampton. The staff were polite, service was good, and the food was delicious. They also surprised me with a birthday dessert and it was to die for. Overall experience was wonderful and would definitely come back for some yummy authentic French cuisine next time I'm in town.

An okay experience with quite the snobby vibe to it. The juices were my favorite part but why could've been cold. The octopus ceviche was the best plate i had because the eggs omelette was good but not memorable! Service was really great and the scene itself is very european.

When coming to Bridgehampton I enjoy coming to this establishment very much. Number one they love my dog Zev so that's an automatic high rating lol. Ok now for the food I had spinach and goat omelette. It was made perfectly great presentation and a yummy flavor yes had a party in my mouth. The meal came with a fresh green salad(dressed in oil and vinegar) and home fries that were seasoned with perfection. I also had a delish ice tea very refreshing. I love the the outdoor setting here the chairs are comfy and environment is chil with excellent Servers.

A pretty good experience! The service was pretty fast and efficient. Everyone enjoyed their meals a lot. We ordered the soft shell crab, Alfredo and Caesar salad. I wasn't hungry but had their coffee eclair and it was fabulous! Cute French spot. Will definitely return again to enjoy a meal here.

When we arrived for our reservation, I was told we would be seated outdoors rather than the requested indoors. When asked why, I was told because I was wearing shorts--even though a) they are dressy shorts and b) nowhere in its posted policy does it say shorts are prohibited. We complied, but weren't thrilled. Then I saw a number of men wearing shorts who were seated indoors. After a delicious meal--and after getting smacked with a thunderous rainstorm, I went in to re-inquire why we were seated outdoors. The "gentleman" re-stated the policy. I then showed him pictures of two men wearing shorts that he seated indoors and asked why. He claimed "I didn't notice THEIR shorts." I asked him if he was Pierre (older gentleman with white hair). He refused to give me his name and suggested I leave. Based on other similar reviews, I would suggest this person either take a lesson in how to properly treat human beings--or perhaps he should have a desk job in the back would be in order if he is incapable of appropriately interacting with his fellow man. If I were rating the restaurant on food, it would be a 5. If it were rated on his interactions, it would be lower than zero, thus my rating of 2.

The beauty of the Marina, especially at night seeing all the mega yachts lit up, absolutely stunning. Everyone is dressed very well, and they require it upon entry, which I love! The bar is an absolute vibe and once everyone is done eating, everyone goes over drinks, dances & has fun, laughing singing... it really just makes you feel like you are in Europe! It was such a fun place to celebrate my birthday, I can't wait to go back! Had an incredible experience and it's in such a great location right on the Marina in Sag Harbor. I've had a lot of clam chowder over the years, and the only bowl that beats this one is from Legal Seafoods in Boston. That's saying a lot. We followed that with the seafood cakes, which were fantastic, and the pork pate, which was excellent as well. The staff was warm and attentive throughout, and our waitress Erica was wonderful, friendly, quick, and clearly knew the menu well. Only note: prices run a bit steep. We stuck to water/appetizers and still walked away with a solid bill for two chowders, one order of seafood cakes, and one order of pork pate. But between the food, the decor, and the overall ambiance, it was very nice experience. Highly recommend.

We found Red Rooster Bistro and thought it looked very cute. It is a lovely little building, looks like a French country house. My mother and I each order the portobello mushroom, her with cheese and me without cheese. We also ordered the beet salad. My brother had the pasta and my sister in law had chicken and salad. They loved their pasta and chicken. My mother and I were not as thrilled. The mushroom was tiny, buried under greens. I had expected a decent sized mushroom but ours were so small. I am glad we also ordered the beet salad, which was mostly greens but the beets were good. They also ordered the flourless chocolate cake, which they enjoyed. The server was excellent, and I enjoyed my glass of wine. I also loved the ambiance. French restaurants are always a bit of a challenge for me ( I am vegan) but honestly, they need to use bigger mushrooms and maybe add a veggie burger to the menu?
