I'll be honest I never actually dined here as we showed up early for a reservation and they had a large party and told us it would be a wait but they could not tell us exactly how long of a wait, we got there 10 minutes early by the way. Suggested we have a drink so we sat at the bar and while this probably is a pretty nice place it was so pompous and pretentious so if you're into that you'll probably like this spot. The only redeeming grace was there was a McLaren parked out front. Had a wonderful meal last night after watching a beautiful sunset from the restaurant. Service was impeccable. We enjoyed the butter lettuce salad. And I had the grouper it was light and flaky and full of flavor. The rest of our table had the curry lobster which had a nice little punch to it and was light and flavorful and then 2 rib eyes both cooked perfectly and had a wonderful garlic seasoning on top. The food here is delicious and the presentation is beautiful. But don't come here expecting a quick in and out unless it's during non-peak hours. If it weren't that the service was slower than we prefer, I would have given 5 stars. The view is spectacular. Choose to sit inside with a lovely ambience, or outside on a lovely balcony overlooking the beach, palms, and all that water. We sat outside but it wasn't windy at all that night so we ended up moving inside for our entrees. They seated us immediately but then took a while to bring us bread or ask for our appetizer order because the waitress was given several new tables at one time, so she gave us a heads up. The bread here is great.. we asked for seconds. For appetizers we had tuna tartar and ceviche, both delicious. There were five of us, and we ended up ordering two of the curry dish, 1 salmon, 1 steak, and 1 snapper. Everything was good, but the curry.. was amazing.. it wasn't the dish I ordered but I ate quite a bit of it anyway. The rice and the sauce were amazing and the presentation was beautiful! It came with a lot of lobster, scallops and shrimp, too! After you eat your meal, they offer to unshell your coconut, which we did, and ate it for dessert! I will be back for more of that! read more

Went there on a recommendation for a 30 year wedding anniversary while in the keys. We got a table on the veranda during sunset and that is the what everyone does here. They have a great menu and great daily specials. The service was perfect and the food lived up to what I was expecting. The presentation was well done and made the experience even better. I had the Sea Bass and my wife had the daily fish which was grouper. Both were wonderful. It is a high end restaurant and a bit expensive but worth it. read more

I visited Pierre's earlier this summer when I was on a "get the heck out of Miami Keys weekend". My weekend did not disappoint, and neither did Pierre's. This restaurant features a classy and cool old Keys vibe. The restaurant is in a large structure that looks like it could have been a beach mansion at some point. During my visit, we started with some rum-based caipirinhas which packed a nice punch and were perfect. My girlfriend and I then moved on to the tuna tartar as an appetizer. It was delicious and it was a total do again. For our main course, I had the catch of the day grouper and my girlfriend had a specialty burger. We were both very satisfied. Mine was the lighter and more delicate meal. For dessert I had a blonde brownie which was good but that I might not order again. Pierre's featured exceptional service. The wait staff here and everyone working there was very professional. We were here in 2020 so I will add that this was a well-done COVID experience. We ate outside on their second floor balcony and the sunset was so breathtaking. they have a small little area below the restaurant with chairs to sit with your family and watch the sunset. Ate here with my wife for Valentine's Day. They gave her a fresh red rose which was classy and unexpected. The food was outstanding and the salad (with Prosecco pears) was one of the best salads I have ever had. I had crab legs appetizer and seafood cassoulet that included lobster crab and shrimp. My wife had steak. We ended with crème brûlée. Everything was outstanding but was very expensive. However the quality justified the cost. Open for 10 days now after COVID restrictions. We dined at 5 just so we could have distancing, and it was perfect. Pierres is one of our favorite spots in the keys for evening dining. We usually love to sit at the bar and enjoy the great staff they have here. Josh is our favorite bartender, and is such a professional at taking care of the customer. The new limited menu is Limited, but they have specials which is what chose to eat. Ask what the specials are before you decide to not eat here. They were all out of this world delicious. read more

My extremely sweet bf thought something was wrong and I was like no you have done EVERYTHING right! You nailed it! This was one of the happiest birthdays I have EVER had! Love love this place! Such a magical restaurant. It feels like you are in someone's home. Having cocktails on their porch is one of my favorite things to do. They have the best view of the sunset which is why it's so wonderful to have your drink outside (I love their mojito) and enjoy before going inside for dinner. They have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. There bar is huge and they know how to make a cocktail. They have a great menu and I love their crab vichyssoise, lamb chops and the beet carpaccio. Dinner was decent but overpriced. If you decide to have a drink in the bar before or after dinner, beware of the bartender, Steve. He kept my credit card. Being on vacation, it was quite a challenge getting a replacement. I called, Steve denied he had it and when I went back a week later, he had it in his register and made me wait 20 minutes before returning it to me and after calling me "sweetheart". Coming off an absolute fantastic 5 PLUS STARS experience with Hot Tin Roof the previous evening, we had high hopes for Pierre's. Well let's begin with us waiting for 30 mins for our waiter because no one told him we were his table. The waiter was apologetic and did try his best, but the service was not 5 star level, at Hot Tin Roof our water glasses were never empty, considering the price point of Pierre's one would think that would also be the case. Moreover there was a mix up with our drink order but I must say the waiter did his best to make sure we were happy by bringing the correct drink gratis He also gave us our dessert, chocolate tort which was delicious, on the house because they did not have decal coffee and our appetizers were disappointing. Our waiter gets an A for effort and I would add 1/2 star for him. Let's get to the meal, we ordered the Tuna Tartare $21 and Cobia Crudo $22, both were bland and the Cobia fish tasted off. Lackluster appetizers for such a high price point. Our meals were delicious though, the Chilean Seabass over oxtail and rack of lamb were cooked perfectly. Been coming to Morada Bay for years and have attended many full moon parties and paid a extra for the VIP access to Pierre's bar, for the full moon party, but never got upstairs to the restaurant. They book up fast, and on the days I remember, they get booked for a wedding. Our friends thought ahead and reserved it 3 weeks in advance and boom --finally in. The sunsets never disappoint and you fee like you're in a beautiful rustic resort in the Bahamas. The service a was great, and our server Nemo was a really attentive guy and took many photos for us --in all angles. My fiancee got the curry lobster over this bed of black rice and it was delicious. I am on a carnivore kick lately and got the 14oz Rib Eye Medium Rare-- it was divine. Cooked perfectly with some potatoes. Our friends all enjoyed their meals, and they even brought us a complimenatary bottle of champagne. A packed bar downstairs couldn't attend to us so they made up for it at dinner. I had been to Pierre's with my family years ago and the food was fantastic, the service great, and the views amazing. I went back a while in the area on vacation again and had a horrible experience. The waiter was not very refined and another guest was intoxicated, talking loadly, and aggressive to the other patrons and the management did not do anything. He tried to engage my 20 year old son in an argument for not singing happy birthday for another patron and it was very uncomfortable. It was a special evening with my family, a very expensive dinner, and would never go back or recommend it. I have never posted a bad review ever either but want to let others know. read more

She reads people well. We had a table on the veranda and it was beautiful. We only ordered appetizers...four of them. Caviar, foie gras, octopus and tuna tartare. All were fantastic. The foie and the octopus always on the menu but the chef changes the preparation so they are more like appetizer/specials. Hard pass. Do not waste your time or money coming here. The glowing reviews are so far from the actual experience. Most food choices were just terrible (shrimp cocktail, cassoulet, and sous vide short rib). Duck was superb. Wine arrived midway through dinner though ordered to arrive just beforehand. Sent back the cassoulet, left the tasteless rib eye, and corked the wine to go. Oh, and dress code is supposed to be "business casual" once you actually reach someone on the phone. My husband and I made a reservation at Pierre's for the last night of our honeymoon. We were not disappointed by the view and ambiance. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset and weather while we hadd the trio of appetizers which was delicious (tuna tartar, lionfish, and king crab ceviche). I ordered the fish special for the night which was a snow grouper prepared with potatoes and peppers. It was possibly the best grouper I have ever had. We don't write reviews often, but last night deserves one. ok, the good first. The martini bar is spot on and the the bartender, Steven, was awsome. You could not find a better setting in the Keys-the property is beautiful. Now the not so good. The first thing we noticed was the menu. Extremely limited. Very few seafood offerings and the pairings with sides was just weird. My wife ordered the baked grouper and it was offered with white bean/ham/bacon slop. it was terrible. When she asked for a different side dish she was told the chef will not allow! I asked for the surf/turf special and was told they were out- which was strange because the restaurant was empty when we arrived. Then the table next to us ordered it about 10 mins after we put our order in and got it! I ordered the scallops. They were 3 small ,over seasoned and dry. They were served with a small portion of linguine and 2 pieces of over cooked asparagus. $62. OH, they rolls they served were small, out of a box and cold. They served 3 rolls 2 people? Our bill came to over $200 (without drinks) and the food was just OK. We have dined at Pierre's many times in the past and always found the experience "special". Last night was just OK, and considering the $$'s is was very disappointing. We both agreed we should have gone to Lazy Days where they offer multiple fresh catches with several preparations.-and special orders don't upset them!!! we could have used the remaining $100 in our pocket for adult beverages!!
