I've been looking for a new pizza place that sells really good calzones since I moved to Barrington this summer. I am in LOVE with PieZoni's! We have two favorites: the grilled chicken bacon ranch is a top contender at our house and my favorite is cheese and pepperoni. If you get the XL it's easily enough for 3-4 people depending on how hungry you are. Quick trick to save money is order early and ask for the 20% off discount. We went to Piezoni's after little league and went to wash our hands in the bathroom and the sink was clogged and full of brown water. We ordered pizza and went to sit down and all of the booths were filthy with crumbs and food particles. We found the one booth that was not dirty. When the food came, it was overcooked (which happens) but when we asked for paper plates, they said they did not have any - (Go to Shaws - it is right next door!) and then the grated cheese they provided had a live ant in it. Got a pizza from here the other day for the Super Bowl. It's very easy to order and have it delivered. That's the only way we ever had it. The pizza itself is OK and you can get a myriad of options. It's honestly just not my favorite flavors. It's very much chain pizza place tasting. I'd eat it again in a pinch though, so don't count them out. Updating my review. I have no longer had longer than normal delivery issues. One of the best damn pizzas around. All of the toppings always taste so fresh and it's always cooked so consistently. I ordered online last night. There are options, but there is no way of knowing if they charge extra for what you're selecting. You never see the itemized charges, only the final total. It was $17.37 for a sandwich and a 2-liter bottle of Pepsi. To be clear, you do see the initial cost. I ordered a steak bomb with potato chips and a diet Pepsi. The delivery guy brought me Dorito chips instead of potato chips. I don't like Doritos. He said that they were out of potato chips so he brought me the Doritos instead. I told him that I wished that they had called me; they did have my phone number. I handed him back the Doritos and told him that I wasn't going to pay for something that I didn't want and didn't order. He assured me that I wouldn't. This morning, the full price of the order had been deducted from my checking account. They charge a delivery fee and then ask you to leave a tip as well. Then they bring you what you didn't order and charge you for it. Never again. read more

Good pizza, usually get the xtra large size. Delivery usually takes 30-45 mins. Got the regular cheese pizza as well as the mediterranean one, both of them were pretty good. I know previous reviews have said about consistency, mine have been good overall. read more

So I walk in with my son on a cold Thursday night trying to get some quick food and was greeted with a smile from the staff and they were all very welcoming and nice to my son. We ordered and while waited for our take out a girl behind the counter with a champion sweater came over and gave my son the remote to change the channel to cartoons!! I have ordered from piezonis for a very long time. The last 3 times they have taken over 2 1/2 hours to bring me freezing cold pizza! They have always taken a little long but this is absolutely ridiculous! I just ordered over $60 worth of food and it's been almost 3 hours!!! I came in here tonight with my husband and our three kids. We are new to the area so I'm always looking for new stuff to try and this came recommended to me from a friend so we tried it and I was very pleasantly surprised! I'm glad I didn't read the reviews first because we wouldn't have gone if I did. I will say, I was shocked when I heard it would be $57 for two large pizzas and an order of breadsticks however, the pizzas are HUGE. Rookie mistake there, on my part. There's absolutely no way a family of two adults and three toddlers could have eaten that much pizza. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I felt bad because we made an enormous mess so I offered to sweep but the girl at the counter assured me I didn't have to. I wonder, now that she's seen the mess, if she's hoping she would have taken me up on my offer, regardless, the pizza is actually REALLY good. I'm super boring when it comes to pizza and really like to stick with a nice classic cheese pizza but I'm also super picky. I like a nice soft crust, melty cheese, and a decent amount of authentic tasting sauce and this pizza really hit the spot. The cheese breadsticks are also AMAZING. They're thick and fluffy with a ton of cheese and garlic on them. I've never had breadsticks like that before but they were really good. I actually just had two more now that I'm home in loose fitting pants. The *only* downside is for bigger families with little kids, they won't had two high chairs but most small restaurants aren't prepared to serve a two year old and two one year old twins. I received the worst service at my most recent visit. Firstly, when when we walked in there just past 8pm there was the distinct smell of marijuana. Then the "lady" who I asked where we should sit gave my family a dead-eye stare and she sarcastically replied "where ever?" After we ordered,the manager on duty told us our food would take a bit and then we would only have 15 mins to eat our food before he locked the door on us!!! Behind him were four members of the staff giving my family and I a "tough-guy stare". My parents drove 3 days from Nebraska and were excited to go to their favourite pizza place in RI and this is the reception those people offer??!!? I took the time to explain to the young man his demeanor was uncalled for and out-of-line, but he seemed oblivious (possibly high as the rest of the employees?) Wow. After ordering a 17" cheese and pepperoni pizza from here and a side of "ultimate fries" to go, all I can say is wow. They didn't even get the order correct. We received a cheese and pepperoni on one side, nothing but sauce on the other side pizza. I can only assume we got the wrong pizza. I hesitate to even call this sheet a "pizza". I agree with one of the previous reviewers, The crust was literally like a sponge. The sauce was generic tasting cisco food service fare. And the cheese was almost non existent (on the side that actually had cheese) The fries were frozen bag fries smothered in grease, topped with cheese & a couple of random bacon bits. (there was nothing to dip these fries in unlike how it was described in the menu) It was some of the most uninspiring food I've eaten since I ordered a slice of pizza at a Pawsox game circa 1989. The most entertaining part of my Piezoni's experience was the five minuet wait for my order to be completed, basically getting to listen to the young girl behind the register share with her coworker the details of last night's date with her boyfriend. I had been reluctant to try Piezoni's based on the extremely negative reviews. My wife had been to a lunch play date with the kids where Piezoni's had been served and was happy with the pizza, so I decided to give them a try. We ordered a pepperoni and a mushroom. The pizza quality was good but I was disappointed with how "done" the pie was. It seemed that it could have used another 5 minutes in the oven. That being said, it was fresh and the ingredients were tasty! Now, as for the reviews of the staff and service, I couldn't disagree more with the negative reviews. The girl that rung me up couldn't have been more friendly. She attempted to make small talk and seemed very happy to be there! What happened to piezonies??? First off, no more homemade dipping sauces.. The chicken fingers were practically burnt in the fryer and revived small kens brand sauces. What a let down. I saw a picture of their sweet and spicy calamari and decided to order that as well... What I got was nothing like the picture. This calamari looked like onion rings, no hot peppers. Yes sauce was on the side to probably prevent my to go order from getting soggy. But still, this is not at all what I had hoped for. Ok so we're from school visiting relatives and the kiddies wanted pizza. This place was surprisingly good. We had a cheese and a bbq chix. You could tell that the chix was fresh (aka not cubed junk). Or at least tasted it. The cheese was good too. Tho the only prob is that the kiddies wanted a crust to eat do the middle pieces were what the adults ate. The sauce was very good! Food is decent. Service is total dog sh*t. Was there today to pick up a call in order. The girl at the counter was on the store phone talking to her friend, not even taking an order. Put 2 actual customers on hold to keep talking to her friend and ignoring me. 10-15 mins later she hangs up the phone, forgets about the people she put on hold and finally gets around to helping me. 2 more mins and i would have walked behind the counter and gotten my own food.
