Side view of the club sandwich.

My kid and the boyfriend had been here a few months ago and enjoyed it, saying it was cute inside with good service. So today when I was scanning Door Dash for a quick delivery and to use my big credit from the last order gone wrong, I thought why not? I hesitated for a second because a Door Dash reviewer said they had a wonderful Club sandwich but then a few months later returned and complained it was awful and had gone way downhill. Uh oh. Anyway, I went for it and my food arrived looking appealing and fresh. I received a stellar enormous club made with nice ingredients and it was beautifully constructed. The onion rings and fries were still hot and crispy and my diet pepsi was frosty and good. I could only eat half as it was enormous, so I stowed half in the fridge for later. This was a win. I am not feeling great lately, chemo is kicking my butt and my appetite is not awesome, but this hit the spot and I would happily eat here or order from here again. Give them a try!

"Thinly sliced corned beef on rye" ...we must have different definitions of thinly sliced

I went out of my way to leave this review. This place was so bad didn't even eat what I ordered. Took a bite of the Reuben sandwich and it was like biting into a hot ball of unstrung yarn, the corn beef was so tough I couldn't even bite through it. It was like a clump of hair when cheese melted on top. The hot wings were tasted like salty vinegar and had a weird chewy undercooked texture. Save your money and go to anywhere else but here.

After a long day of soaking up the sun and browsing shops, my family and I were ready for a quick bite. It was already 7:30 p.m., so our options were limited. We ended up at The 60's Diner in Lincoln City, drawn in by its retro vibe and classic menu--burgers, fries, shakes, and sandwiches, just as you'd expect. There were five of us. Three ordered burgers, my daughter went with a veggie burger, and I opted for a grilled chicken salad. The kids were excited for their milkshakes, and we added onion rings and mozzarella sticks as appetizers. That's where things started to unravel. The mozzarella sticks came out frozen in the middle--literally. We had to send them back. Then one of the milkshakes was incorrect and had to be remade. I'd ordered a kid's cheeseburger and small shake for my grandson, but they brought out a full-sized burger and large shake instead. When I pointed it out, the server shrugged and insisted that's what I'd ordered. It wasn't. As for my grilled chicken salad... let's just say it was a disaster. I could write a novel about everything wrong with it, but I'll spare you. It definitely wasn't worth the $15 price tag. Bottom line: skip The 60's Diner. At that point, even McDonald's would've been a better choice.

Great 60's style diner in the heart of Lincoln City! We chose to stroll in here one night for dinner and were happy that we discovered them. They can be found a little further back from McMenamins next to the laundromat. We walked in and we were seated immediately since it wasn't too busy. Inside they have 60's music playing in the background and 60's cartoons playing on the TVs, such as those Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck cartoons. I immediately took a look at their milkshakes (yes, we're on vacation, so I'll have a milkshake whenever I please) and I ordered their Oreo milkshake, while my boyfriend ordered their strawberry milkshake. I swear, I literally finished that thing even before our food came out because it was THAT good! Alongside regular milkshakes, they also serve boozy milkshakes. For food, I had a regular cheeseburger and my boyfriend had the John Wayne. The cheeseburger was served with fries and the John Wayne was served with onion rings on the side. I was so close to finishing my burger completely, but I just became too full and decided to take it back with me. My boyfriend thought of the same thing and also brought it back with him. Amazing food and great service! We'll probably visit this spot again during our next trip to Lincoln City.

This was decent diner food. Not a lot of people here and we didn't have to wait that long for our food order to arrive. Came here for lunch.

This is one of the few places that still offers a malt milkshake. We had the bacon burger and mozzarella sticks. The restaurant was not busy and our server was good.

Stopped by 60's Cafe and Diner after having a weird experience with a restaurant nearby. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. The inside interior was well decorated and the food came in large filling portions. If you stop by you must get the shake!!

I so badly wanted to love this place. Been so excited to try it. It was so disappointing:( The Pros- they have a little outside seating area where you can bring a dog, amazing Shirley Temple, Boozy milkshakes amazing! Cons-the outside tables were so dirty covered in pollen and bugs. service was so very slow. About 5 groups came after us and 3 of them got drinks before we even got our drink order taken( in their defense we were on the patio) The food was not great. Everything was dry and like it was sitting there for awhile. There was a guy working who was the best part very nice

We came here during our vacation. We wanted to try fun local restaurants and my brother picked this place. It was so fun. We loved the 60's theme and atmosphere. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with Swiss cheese. It was really good. The meat was juicy and cooked perfectly, the bacon was crisp, the cheese was nice and melted and the bun was toasted. It had great flavor. You can either choose fries or coleslaw. I chose the fries and I thought the fries were really yummy too. Perfect amount of salt and seasoned nice. The meal was very filling. My husband and I ordered a shake to share. We did and Oreo caramel shake and it was so good. Perfect for sharing. We will come again.

Old school diner. Tasty malt. The lunches looked huge but we just stopped in for shakes. Fun walls and decor.

Three double thick slices of their Wildflower bread with a small fruit garnish. (I was going to be hiking out to the God's Thumb and figured lots of carbs were in order.) The wait staff was friendly and I was seated right away. So why only four stars? The building, actually a repurposed house has marvelous bones and the woodland setting out the back is dreamy but the interior decor takes little advantage of this and for this reason pulls down the ambience of the establishment. Don't get me wrong it's spacious, clean, and tidy, it could just use a little more decor that captures the setting and the cottage feel of the building, IMO. Additionally the menu is a bit sparse for such a nice place that does its own baking. I believe they used to offer crêpes. The beverage menu is begging for a proper set of specialty espresso coffee and tea offerings. And yes I would go again.

As you drive up you cannot help to notice the red building with a classic Old Cafe sign off HWY 101. They have a unique story, the original Otis Cafe was located in the City of Otis in the 1920s, named after the Post masters nephew. They have ample parking in their own private lot, as you walk up to the building and the main entrance, they have outdoor seating. Key finding, depending the time you arrive you may be waiting a bit to get in, they seem to be very popular with good reason. Once inside you will notice a very open seating area, with various booths and table seating options. They make fresh bread, we could not resist we took home a loaf of homemade bread it was very tasty. The staff greet you as you walk in, it has a very friendly vibe, the staff cycle through the building repeatedly checking in with its customers throughout your visit. The food options are plentiful, also note their portions are huge. We finally decided on an Omelette with veggies and ham, with a side of bacon and German potatoes with wheat sourdough. We also ordered the French toast with Fruit, an egg, another huge portion of food ample for two or three. The food was served warm, to our options and extremely tasty. The bacon was huge, well cooked, the Omelette and potatoes were perfectly cooked, I really enjoyed the Omelette and bacon. We are still working through the French toast, we took 3/4 of it home with us. Some recommendations, review the menu, be ready to order they are fairly busy and turn tables quickly. This is a must try spot during your next visit to Lincoln City.

The food is good and very plentiful. Way too much if you are traveling and can't take half your meal home. So we enjoyed their food, but felt bad that we couldn't eat it all and it had to be wasted ( we were unable to take leftovers with us). The pancakes are enormous and tasty. Loved the chorizo scramble (they recommend the molasses bread but we weren't wild about it). The eggs Benedict ( southern style) had a large biscuit, sausage and egg. Heeping helping of hash browns. All good but could use more gravy as it got a bit dry. Would like the option of two over easy eggs which would bring a little more moisture to the dish. Overall we were happy with breakfast, but a bit too full.

We arrived early on a Saturday afternoon and were told we could seat ourselves anywhere in the bar, so we snagged the best table with a great view. I couldn't believe that a restaurant so close to Surftides and right on the ocean has such an impressively affordable drink menu--I mean, seriously, where do you get a $10 Old Fashioned these days? The bartender came over quickly and took our order for two Old Fashioneds and a bowl of chowder. Upon delivering the drinks, she mentioned she was new and wasn't sure if she'd made them exactly right. They were actually good! She just missed the cherry and orange essence, but for $10, I'm certainly not complaining. The clam chowder, however, was the star of the show. Seriously, it's the best clam chowder in Lincoln City right now. I am picky and not easily impressed, but this was perfect. It was clearly fresh--rich and velvety without being pasty or like 'sipping on gravy.' The clams were tender and provided a perfect balance of rich texture and delicate, briny flavor. We will definitely be regulars whenever I need a chowder fix!
