I've eaten here a few times and every time is a hit! My favorite items so far have been the pork ribs, brisket, tri tip, corn bread, and now, the chili. I used to get mashed potatoes or the baked Mac and cheese but today I got the chili and it was the best thing. I also love the cole slaw because it has a fresher taste than other slaws. I think they add fennel and also green bell peppers. The only thing my family wouldn't get again is the Mexican street corn. I thought it was good but just not worth the price. I hope business here is good because the last two times I visited, there was no one else at the restaurant. The staff is super nice and the food is good. I hope you'll get it a try. read more

I'd been to this BBQ joint before it changed ownership and really enjoyed it. It had been a while, so I thought it was time to try it out as Pig n Pig. The dining area definitely gives off a BBQ/southern feel, simple yet functional seating and decor. Background music was audible without being overpowering. Service was friendly, prompt, and efficient. Best way to gauge a BBQ joint is to try the meat offerings, so I got the 2 meat plate with brisket & pork belly and for the sides I chose the baked Mac & cheese and the mashed potatoes. The meat was good but the sides were disappointing; the Mac & cheese was not baked (which to me implies that there would be a crunchy cheese or bread crumb topping) and lacked seasoning and the mashed potatoes were also bland (even with the cheese & bacon topping). The service was the highlight of this visit, but sadly, the food will not be something I'd crave to come back for. read more

After reading about Pig N Pig, I wanted to try it because there's really not any good BBQ around. My husband and I got there early, around 4:30pm. We were the only ones in there. The food came out pretty fast. The server did NOT check on us once. The food was edible, but that's about it. I ordered the baked potato and I got HALF a baked potato. I've never seen that before. Disappointing. We were done eating and were waiting for our check. We waited and waited and waited. I finally got up to look for our server. I thought maybe she was in the kitchen working. This is one of the worst food experiences I've had. I feel like the attention to detail is just not there. This is my second time here. The first time I came I thought the bbq was mid, not very great. My daughter liked her Gomez burger though. We decided to try again and I was so disappointed. The water came with a floaty in it. They did not have Sierra Mist, they were out. There was only one server. My food was very unappealing. I got the loaded fries with brisket. Some of the toppings were not there. It was supposed to come with green onions and house gravy on the side. When I asked I was told they were out of green onions but that he would bring me the house gravy. What I received a few moments later was microwaved cheap Bleu cheese dressing. I didn't even finish the fries. This place could be good but there's just no care or quality. We got the smoked meat plate with 3 choices of meat: brisket (bland if you don't put the sauce), pork ribs (I didn't try it) , & garlic butter shrimp (pretty good). They were out of cream corn and I had just got there at noon so that's kind of weird to run out of a popular side item. I had the brisket. It was OK. It was better when it was flavored with their barbecue sauce. My husband had the pulled pork and I've seen better . He says "it was aight". Service locked, took a while to take our drink order. We were skeptical as we approached, but our minds were quickly reassured when we sat down and perused the menu. My family enjoyed: a juicy smoked Turkey club, brisket, burnt ends, tri tip, bbq beans, Mac and cheese, and a Caesar salad. No complaints about any of it. I went to the pick and pig today and I can't pick you out why three adults got child plates. I looked at everybody. All the adults and the kids around me. The platesl orall the same I have been to the picnic and they bumped down and I don't think I'll go back. Corn bread was delicious and even more delicious with the butter Baked potato was good Spicy sausage is same as house sausage but with a type of mustard sauce, onions and peppers. It wasn't that spicy at all but still good Pork ribs were good too, just wish it was cooked a little bit longer so that the meat could fall off the bone. Honestly, if I rated this place on their cornbread and the butter, I would have given 5 stars. I was craving cornbread and it definitely hit the spot and the butter was just a plus. As for the pork ribs, I think it was pretty standard with the sauce, nothing special. I did want to try the spicy sausage so if I come back I will probably get that instead of the ribs.
