This place was absolutely amazing, me and my girlfriend came here to get our balls drilled and get a little advice however when we were introduced to Dale he was amazing, he not only drilled our balls and took the time to explain everything, after we were allowed to throw our newly drilled balls and he even gave us some pointers. This was an absolute amazing experience and I wish every new bowler could have the same one. Dale is amazing and I truly reccomend them to anyone for any of your bowling needs. read more

I can't say much about the community center as a whole, so I don't want to leave one star because of that, but the bowling alley is not a place I'd want to go back to. The workers are so rude and they spent most of the time while we were bowling just watching us like we were doing something wrong (even though there were plenty of other families there, they spent the most time watching us and all we were trying to do is have little family bowling trip). I think they are not very family-friendly and definitely don't like babies (1-2). They were also rude to us for having sippy cups and said we couldn't have those unless we were at a table. Sippy cups now like come on. Like do you expect us to bring the babies over to the table everytime they want a drink. If the staff were replaced it could possibly be a better place to go to. read more

While on vacation we were looking for a bowling place to get our competition petty on and we found it hidden in a community center go figure. The first day we tried we were turned away due to league play. Next day we went and it was worth the wait. Staff were friendly, facility was clean and lanes were empty. Honestly it's okay, but some of the staff seemed unfriendly, and rude. We were not informed that there was a party coming in upon starting; then lo and behold "y'all have 5 minutes and I'm cutting you off!" Mid-game. There was no "I'm sorry" or anything and he talked to us with attitude. Then refused to give my parents the senior price and charged full price. If you are planning on coming here (and are an outsider) you may not be able to bowl or be able to finish a game but will still be charged for it. read more

I have used the pools and workout area for two summers while vacationing. The staff is very friendly, the facility is clean, and the prices are reasonable (I did the week pass). There are a few Bluetooth stationary bikes for Zwift or other programs. The only drawback is that they have backs (normal spin bikes are available but w/o Bluetooth). I will go back and get a week pass if we visit in the future. read more

This is a nice rec center, especially for this area. Indoor pool with only 2 lap lanes open. Not a grand scale pool but decent enough in size. outdoor pools are open seasonally. Gymnasium includes 3 full basketball courts. I think 3 racquet ball rooms. An open tenth of a mile track that is above the basketball courts. Weight room upstairs includes elipticle, treads, and strength machines. Cardio machines also upstairs outside weight room that overlook pool. Daycare and Bowling ally included! There is also a Library!! Membership prices are very reasonable. read more

This is my second year using the Community Center to workout while visiting the area. The facility itself deserves 5 stars for the overall variety of equipment, however I'm only giving 4 as a result of one of the staff. Helen that works at the front desk makes the entire process of checking in as an out of area resident much harder than it has to be. She is abrupt, unfriendly and just difficult. The other staff members at the desk are a delight. The workout area has a great amount of cardio equipment, lots of weight machines and a good assortment of free weights. There are plenty of benches, multiple cable machines, as well as a few sections of just cardio equipment outside of the regular gym area. The facility has a large gym for basketball, volleyball, etc. There is also a large indoor pool and outdoor pool. As well as a bowling area. They do offer childcare. I've never used this service so I can't speak to how it compares or rates. As a non-resident you either pay $8 per visit or you can purchase a week pass for $30. The downside is that they don't offer a discount for children or military that I was able to find. So essentially you pay $8 whether you lift weights, swim, play ball, etc. If you want a great place to workout definitely check the Community Center out, just go during the day when Helen may not be working. read more

As far as the bowling activities: the building itself doesn't look like much at all as it includes more than just the bowling lanes. In fact, we had to call to confirm that they were in fact there. The lanes were on the shorter side and multiple lanes began malfunctioning and not working. The music was not favorable and no one was there on a Saturday night if that says anything. The staff just kept suggesting that we switch lanes. For nearly an hour, half of my party spent their time sitting and waiting for the lanes to be fixed. We asked for a partial refund at the very least and management refused to provide that. We were not offered any drinks/snacks while we waited either. They offered additional free games, however I notified them that my party was from out of town, leaving the next morning, and had another reservation immediately afterwards and we couldn't stay any longer. Then, we are told they had a no refund policy. read more

I am really enjoying the Pigeon Forge Rec Center. I was surprised to find such a large and nice facility out here. The feature I use the most is the one tenth of a mile indoor track, which is set up above the basketball courts. I end up using it a lot when it is raining or humid. It is easy for me to drop in after work for a quick stretch. They have a 6 lane indoor pool, which has 2 lanes open for lap swimming. The pool is the shorter size, used in mini triathlons. There is a wading pool next to it, as well as an outdoor pool, open seasonally. The weight room is upstairs, past a sign that essentially says "you shall not pass" to kids 14 or under. Additional rowing machines, stationary bikes and the like are set up outside the work out room without piped in music. We call it the Quite Room. A few more of these are dispersed in nooks around the indoor track. Showers are located in the pool side. This is the only rec center I could find that offered yoga classes. They also offer a wide variety of other classes, like Zumba, cross training, martial arts, and aqua fitness. The community center has a 10 lane (or is it 8?) bowling center and a pro shop. It is located adjacent to the library. Annual passes are super affordable for PF residents, and still pretty low for Sevier County residents. You can even buy an annual pass as a non resident, but day, week, and month passes are available as well. If you are an out of town visitor needing a stretch on a rainy day, come visit and support the PF Rec! read more

The bowling alley is small. The locals bowling there were rude. Not much fun, played two games and left. Never going back there

We went to the outdoor pool, which happens to be directly next to the sewer treatment plant. While the pool is good, the stench from the treatment facility made our visit horrible. It got so bad that it made all of us nauseated. We stayed for almost 2hrs to try to get our "money's worth", but we will never go back. read more

I can only speak in regards to the bowling alley and its pro shop, as I have not used any of the other facilities at the community center. However, Wayne at the pro shop went 110% above and beyond my expectations. His effort in helping me get a bowling ball drilled to meet my specific needs was absolutely astonishing. I have never had a bowling ball drilled with the level of personalized care and attention that he put into my ball. I've had bowling balls drilled a dozen times in several different locations--if you need a bowling ball, this is the place to get it. I can't sing his praises enough. read more
