    Salt and Butter Pretzel

Great place to get a delicious sandwich and share a pretzel! this is tucked back in the midst of tourist attractions, but it's an attraction in itself! We had an Italian sandwich and giant pretzel and it was excellent! Will definitely return next visit!

Tucked in the corner side of The Shops Of Pigeon Forge, is this family owned deli with homemade sandwiches and bread. This is a hidden gem. Cozy and a good small sized area for a quick bite! All the staffs are very welcoming and thoughtful. We ordered their infamous Reuben and Pot Roast sandwiches as well as their Italian Beef, Cheesesteak and Roast Beef sandwiches. All of them are flavorful and delicious. They recommend getting the half sized sandwiches since they are pretty big. Don't forget to try their parmesan garlic pretzels - so yummy! Definitely a place to remember if ever we come back in this side of TN.

The food here is wonderful! The roast beef sub is amazing!!! But you cannot leave without getting a pretzel! The shop is very small inside but you might get to sit outside if it's nice! They are pretty quick with getting orders ready!

These are the best sandwiches you'll have here in Pigeon Forge! The Hayden and the Italian sandwiches are truly out of this world! The pretzel was also awesome! The staff is so kind and smiling and the food was very quick. I just wish we lived close to this place!

Restaurant is clean with minimal indoor seating but seating is available outside also. The sandwiches here are great! The service could have been a little bit more friendly. I would recommend this to someone in the area looking for a good deli sandwich

We stopped in after a local had recommended this. We love eating local. Let me tell you, this was THE BEST I've EVER had. Our whole trip, this was the most delicious, flavorful sandwhich. DONT even get me started about the pretzel. MY GOODNESS. crispy and so soft. My mouth is watering thinking about it! The staff was SO kind and happy. We loved the whole experience. And we will be back, and telling everyone we know about this place!

They literally have every fast food and chain dining experience on one block, but I didn't know that at the time but I'm tired of road trip Food so wanted to sit down for a good meal! Pulling into the parking lot and I was overwhelmed because it was huge and very crowded! We go to the desk and they tell us 25 minutes. This place was huge and very accommodating, they were getting people to their tables fast! We noticed two empty seats at the bar, so we opted to take them and had the pleasure of being served by Robert. He was attentive, made sure our waters were always full. He gave recommendations on his favorite dishes and was all around a great bartender! The guy working the other end of the bar was equally as professional. The ambience is a dark cool vibe, little trendy but people were dressed pretty casually! Answer the most important thing...The food! For an app, we got the beer, cheese fondue that came with apples, bread and pretzels. The beer cheese had a little bit of ooomph to it, which was refreshing because usually I'm not a big mustard person. The pretzel bites were incredible crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The apples were fresh all around the appetizer for 3 to 4 people so we took extra home. I ordered the 10 ounce sirloin cooked, medium with the web sweet potatoes and a side Caesar salad for a three dollar charge which ended up being a full-size salad! It was super fresh and gigantic for a side salad. The steak was cooked perfectly, in the middle with an insane sear. Their house, butter that they put on it truly elevated the flavor profile. I tried the sweet potatoes mashed and they were enjoyable, but I do not enjoy a sweet side with my food so I knew I was going to donate them to my husband and he said they were incredible, the flavor was definitely there just not my cup of tea, but I knew that from the beginning . He got the Caesar salad with grilled chicken! It had so much flavor and tastes incredible but yet melted in your mouth it was the most tender chicken I've ever had in my life, and the flavor was all there! Not even the slightest bit of any kind of dryness. One of the best bites of chicken I've ever had.! He ordered the bison meatloaf to go, and that comes with caramelized mashed potatoes and fried onion straws.... It smells incredible and I will update when we try it . * UPDATE: best meatloaf ever!!! Based on the quality/ experience on a very busy night- everything was phenomenal and I will return. Service 10/5 Food 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Value 5/5

Maybe "pet tolerant", but not "friendly": - hostess was visibly & audibly afraid of dogs. We have two sweet chocolate labs, not exactly menacing creatures. Why in the world would you send a dog-fearing employee to get us seated? - we expected an offer of a water bowl for our pups. Nope. Had to find a server and ask for one. - the outdoor area we sat at is enclosed & gated. A door separates this outdoor area from the inside dining room. In spite of this, 10 minutes after being seated, a separate employee came out and simply said "do yall have leashes?" 1- of course we do, you saw us walk them in. 2- no greeting or "hey, I'm blah blah"... cold & impersonal. 3- why bother with the cost of a gated enclosure if pets have to be leashed anyway? We've been to many pet-friendly restaurants. You are NOT pet-friendly. You happily took our money for the meal, and added a 20% gratuity yourselves (which was not earned btw), but you barely did enough to accommodate our pups, let alone be considered "friendly". We didn't feel they were welcome, and certainly no "friendly" environment experienced. We won't be back. See how Calhouns defines "pet friendly". Y'all might learn something. They are known for breakfast: French toast, pancakes, omelettes. If you get pancakes or waffles or the like, you should definitely ask for their house-made peanut butter syrup. It's amazing and so unlike anything that I've ever tasted. I got an omelette, which was good and had a lot of stuff in it. They will give you hot sauce upon request, which I was grateful for because I thought the omelette needed it. One thing that's really cool about Sawyer's is that they seem to take food allergies very seriously. That's always nice to see! As you're entering or exiting, make sure to admire the decor. Our server was attentive, friendly, and helpful. I ordered the Hawaiian Ribeye. Our server said it was his favorite thing on the menu and I could see why. The steak was cooked perfectly. It was marinated in pineapple ginger sauce and then basted with teriyaki. It was absolutely juicy and delicious. I highly recommend this steak, which rivals the steaks at any of those over-priced steakhouses. The steak came with a salad and I chose the house lemon dressing. I continue to dream about this creamy, slightly salty dressing. They should definitely bottle it and sell it! I chose a baked sweet potato for a side and it was huge and unfortunately not cooked through, but I enjoyed the fully cooked parts. Oh, I hate limp, doggy fries, but these were super crispy just like I like 'em...so extra points for that small detail. I usually comment on the wheelchair accessibility of places I review.
