We got a small inferno pizza. The pizza had nice cheese, but the crust was very plain. The overall flavor blended well together. Their desserts are very expensive. The carrot cake and cheesecake we looked at was priced a little over $10 for one slice and the size difference was significant.

my partner and i were wandering the farmer's market when an employee of this restaurant offered us a sample of their four cheese pizza. the first bite is what sold us into ordering from here. the staff was extremely kind and welcoming. we ordered a small margherita pizza with a side salad. it was baked in an authentic oven & was served fairly fast. the crust was crispy and fluffy. the flavoring of the sauce was delicious. the components of the pizza meshed very well together. i loved how plain the salad was. overall, if i was ever in town, i would definitely come back. everything was very delicious and i was pleased with my order.

Easily some of the best pizza I've had since moving to the metroplex. The pizzeria is located inside the permanent building portion of the Dallas Farmers Market ful of various vendors. They hooked me with a free sliver of the cheese pizza they had circulating as a sampler and I had to find the source. I was with my niece's, one of whom is a notoriously picky eater, and everyone loved Bellatrino! A light crispy crust with flavorful, fresh toppings, of course it's a hit! The pickiest of eaters hoovered her pepperoni slices down, and we ended up ordering extra pizza to take home. Service was pretty unremarkable, just okay, but the indoor part of this market is hectic whenever I'm here. Tip: if you can't decide, you can order half toppings. I like the half pepperoni and half marguerite but there's something for everyone. I now patronize every time I'm at Dallas Farmers Market, consistently great quality pizza.

Stopped in after a concert at Southside Ballroom. It was after 10:30, so we weren't sure if we would be served. The lady took our order, a 16in Margherita pizza, and had it out to us within 20 minutes. We also had the tiramisu, it was good! It's located inside the market & I wish we would've caught it during the day. So cute! Pizza was delicious, could've cooked maybe a minute or so more to be a bit more crispy, but the sauce was very flavorful.

Earlier I had been visiting Dallas Farmers Market for lunch, and someone was walking around offering samples of their 4 cheese pizza. We were not expecting all the flavor coming from what seemed to be a simple cheese pizza. So after picking up my wife from jury duty, I took brought her just so she could try it! So glad we did, freshly baked was so much better... We will have to visit next time we're in Downtown!

Inferno Pizza, Rocket Prosciutto Pizza, and Ravioli The pizzas here are spectacular. Both the inferno and rocket prosciutto were unbelievably good and somehow lasted me many many meals. The ravioli is kinda just alright

It could be the time and the day we went on a Tuesday at 8:00pm. no one was at the market but that just means your skills should be on point. we were so disappointed!! I ordered a pepperoni pizza with grilled onions; the toppings were not even cooked, the dough wasn't even that hot but it was brown. it was cooked in a wood fire oven so maybe it wasn't enough wood in there, I don't know! Anyhow the dough was so thin and flimsy every time you picked it up all the toppings fell off. The side ceasar had a tsp of Parmesan and dressing. The lettuce was soft. I don't know if I'll ever go back. We could only eat 1 slice.

They got me with a sample, probably a pizza that someone ordered and never came back for? Regardless, it was delicious and had a perfectly crunchy crust. So I was hooked. After I found a seat at the nearby 2nd Tap, I came back and ordered a pizza. Meatball, small. It took about ten minutes and then I returned to pick it up. Cheesy, meaty, crunchy, delicious. Perfect with a pilsner at the beer bar! [Review 787 of 2024 - 543 in Texas - 21818 overall]

Yummy pizza! We got focaccia, caprese, and a pepperoni/cheese pizza. The service was fast and friendly! We'll definitely order again next time we're at the farmers market!

Horrible service from staff, rude and unprofessional customer service. Food wasn't bad and the place wasn't clean.

I'd never heard of this place before but I was in the mood for pizza. I really should have asked for a slice instead of a mini pizza. I was told that they didn't have anything smaller than a small. Well, the Small was much bigger than I wanted and the price almost made me faint. I know this is downtown Dallas and I get that prices are high but $19 for a small pizza is slightly outrageous. Thankfully it was very good and I was able to get another meal out of it. And the staff was really nice. Next time if I'm in the mood for pizza, I'm opting for a slice instead of a whole to hopefully avoid the sticker shock. They had a lot more on their menu than just pizza though, so I may try something else. Variety is a good thing!

    Really ... waste of time

The meatballs were very succulent, bathed in a tomato gravy that you'd want to lick every drop of from the plate. The focaccia, on the other hand, had a pillowy interior, and the crust almost seemed caramelized, with a slight sweetness that paired nicely with the tartness of the tomato gravy. For our main course, we ordered the Cacio e Pepe, Spicy Gemelli, Pesto Rigatoni, and Bolognese--all were phenomenal. Then, to cap things off, we had a dreamy gelato, with a cloud of whipped cream, topped with pistachio and drizzled with olive oil. Service: Great! What you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. Our waiter was attentive and very accommodating to our needs. Ambiance: Casual, modern. Parking: Ample parking. Located in a plaza.

It always makes me feel like I'm back home in a way. I had a glass of Chianti and we started with the focaccia with whipped ricotta. We both chose pasta dishes, I had the spicy gemelli and bestie had the bolognese which he didn't seem to like much but when I tried it I thought it tasted great. I don't care for a lot of meat sometimes so I wouldn't have ordered it as my main but it really complimented the spicy gemelli - perhaps going halfsies would have been a nice option. Service was attentive and our dishes came out fast, we sat indoors beside the bar but the patio could have been a really nice option if you're a patio person. I typically am not. I have yet to find a Dallas Italian spot that I love more than my current no.1 back home (Donna's on Sunset in LA) but this meal was delish and I wouldn't rule out dining here again in the future.

But what really made the experience unforgettable was our server, Leigh. She went above and beyond in every way possible. She didn't just explain the menu- she told a story. From the background of the owner to the details of each dish, you could tell how much care and passion went into everything. She checked in at all the right moments, made sure we had everything we needed, and genuinely cared that we loved each bite. And the food... wow. It transported me to Italy. We started with the arugula salad with bresaola dressed with lemon - super refreshing - paired with the arancini. The bread dipped in the sauce was insane: perfectly crisp on the outside, with rich, flavorful rice inside. We shared the triangoli ravioli stuffed with ricotta and topped with mushroom, hazelnut, and parmesan, and it was incredible. The hazelnut added the perfect crunch and nutty depth. Then came the tagliatelle with wagyu bolognese--perfectly balanced, rich, and made even better with clearly homemade pasta. We finished savory dishes with the veal saltimbocca, and I swear it made me feel like I was sitting in Rome. The sauce was incredible, and the sage really brought everything together. But the true showstoppers? Dessert. My Italian grandma said the cannolo was the best she's ever had - and that says everything. Light, crisp, and not overly sweet. Then the chocolate dessert with olive oil and sea salt... I went in for two bites and somehow finished the entire thing without realizing. Easily the best chocolate dessert I've ever had. This place is out of this world. Would order all of these dishes again. In a city full of restaurants, this is one I will come back to every single time I'm in Dallas. Absolutely 5 stars. Brava.

I visited on a Wednesday evening with a comfortably moderate crowd; on busier nights you may want a reservation. I started with the fried calamari and a glass of wine. Presumably meaning wine, but we were considering cocktails and a bit confused by the question. He said "I'll come back when you're ready," and disappeared for the first of many long absences. From the beginning it felt like we were ruining his life. He was cheerless and curt and wouldn't make eye contact with anyone. It would be more understandable if the restaurant was super busy or understaffed. But this was Monday at 6 pm. We listed a birthday on the reservation, but it wasn't acknowledged. Why bother to ask if we are celebrating? We waited for empty plates and glasses to be cleared between courses. We waited a long time for him to return so we could order a second glass of wine. Even longer for the plates to be cleared and longer still for the opportunity to order dessert...a piece of cake for the birthday girl and two after dinner drinks...but the drinks weren't picked up from the bar when the cake was delivered, and only remembered when we asked for the check. We watched him pick them up (well after the cake was consumed) on his way to leave the bill. No mention that they had been overlooked, no thank you, no good night. This was our first time at Barsotti's and it will be our last. Aside from the awful service, we had issues with the food as well. The veal was pounded paper thin and fried hard resulting in a tough, chewy texture similar to dried beef or jerky. It was dry and overcooked on two different dishes. On a more positive note, we enjoyed the fried ravioli appetizer and the redfish was fine. While our waiter was largely MIA and unpleasant when he did show up, the bus boy/assistant was gracious and attentive. Maybe he was trying to compensate for his colleague. BTW, the offensive employee was in his late 40s to mid 50s with a slight build and salt and pepper hair.
