We couldn't pass up the cacio e Pepe fries, which had the most delicious garlic aioli. We split a pepperoni pizza, can't go wrong there - I'd probably try something more adventurous next time like their "meat me at Floyd's" and had to save room for the banana caramel tiramisu! So yum! Cute Italian-ish joint! Came here with a friend for a chill catch-up dinner, and enjoyed myself. Our server was kind and the food didn't take crazy long to get to us. I love that drinks are 50% off during their happy hour, so that made my sangria taste even better (also, the sangria lasted my entire meal) I ordered the PastaLaVista pizza and it was such an interesting concept... but tasty! I never thought about pasta on PIZZA! I don't eat pork, so I subbed in vegetarian sausage. Overall, I liked the pizza but wish that it had a little bit more flavor. I would definitely order it again, but I think that the Parmesan and crushed pepper (I ordered on the side) helped add flavor to the pizza. I'll definitely be back! I've driven by this place a few times but I moved from Orlando and I've wanted to try it so while I was visiting I took a trip on in! It's cute, you could sit inside or out. We sat outside. It was a cool day so it was perfect. It is off of mills but the road wasn't annoying which is great! We started off with some express martinis which were really good, we had a few of them. A non traditional Italian restaurant with some yummy options, tight seating and OK service! The flavors in most of their dishes knock it out of the park and while I didn't have the pizza either time I dined there, the pasta options are enough to make me want to come back. The seating isn't ideal if it's not great weather to sit outside but the porch is very nice if the weather is great. Parking can be tight as with most things downtown so just be prepared to possibly do street parking if their lot is full. Service was a bit on the struggle bus both times I visited with challenges getting our orders taken, drink refills, etc. Overall it's a great option in the area and I'm looking forward to coming back! read more

This place was super cute! There's indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit outside because it was a gorgeous evening. They have a nice little spritz menu and lovely cocktails, but I stuck with a classic lemonade. My food was delish. I love that you have the option of either a half portion or a full portion. I got the half portion and I felt like that was the perfect amount. The sausage also had the perfect amount of spice, you won't be leaving with a sniffling nose. After hearing compliments for and reading reviews, we decided to venture out to Pigzza for dinner. I had made a reservation online because I thought it might be super busy, and reservation slots were disappearing quickly. We arrived for our 7:45 PM reservation and there were only a handful of people indoors (at their limited seating) and one table on the more spacious patio. The hostess was first going to seat us way in the back around the corner of the restaurant where there's no windows and I asked for the front room with windows. I definitely don't want to ever sit way back there; it did not look inviting. To start, we ordered a small Caesar salad to share. Then we each ordered our own personal pizzas. I tried the CBW with BBQ chicken chunks, jalapenos, bacon, and Alabama white sauce. It was a delicious combination. My partner loves mushrooms, so he opted for the Big Mo -- vodka sauce, mushrooms, mozzarella, and caramelized onions -- and ate every last bite. While we sat there enjoying our dinner, the restaurant (inside, outside, bar) kept filling up. I guess the restaurant doesn't get busy until 8:00 PM! read more

Managed to snag a spot in their lot on a Saturday night! Pizza gods must have been smiling down. The space is awesome, love the entire decor and got a patio table pretty quickly for my table of five. We got the Meet me at Floyd's $22 and Cacio e pepe fries $10 and they were delicious! My only reason for not giving it 5 stars was due to the long wait for our food (30 plus minutes) and hard to reach server when we wanted the bill. The day of my visit was a fairly common FL day, it was sunny and then 10mins before my reservation the sky opened like a monsoon. The small parking lot was full, because no one wanted to leave and I had to park down the street and run through the rain so I was on time for my 7pm reservation, for 8 people. We did not get seated until about 745. The rain caused most of that delay, but even when the tables were cleaned and available it took time to seat us. Our server was friendly and knew the menu well. Maybe they were a bit understaffed that night as it took awhile for her to check in or for us to find her to get the check. Food wise we got the Caesar Salad, which was fantastic. I might get it every time. The lettuce was crisp and the dressing on point. The "Meet me at Floyd's" was good. I liked it, would probably order again, but had higher expectations. I look forward to going back and trying some of the pasta dishes. I am confident Pigzza will continue to get better and become an Orlando staple due to the dedicated ownership and team. Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of Pig Floyd's. And I've been dying to try Piggza since I first heard about it - that adorable sign teasing me on my way home from work. Looking at the pricing I was a bit skeptical about whether or not it would really be worth it. ...let me tell you - it was well worth the price! We tried 3 dishes, the tortiglioni pasta and two pizzas. My husband loved his fresh spicy sausage pasta, but truly, the pizzas stole the show. I'm so glad this place lived up to expectations! Fun and creative new spot that feels right at home in the Mills50 area. My group enjoyed dining on the patio. It felt spacious enough that we weren't crammed in next to the other diners. Nice modern and bright feeling. We started our evening with a round of white sangrias and agreed that it was our favorite item of the night! It was a nice sized drink that kept our meals company for the duration of our time. It was sweet and fruity. Next up we decided to share a pizza. After much back and forth, we landed on the Shrimpin' ain't easy pie. Credit for creativity! However it didn't hit like a pizza but more like a flat bread. I would have enjoyed some sauce and something that resembled a more traditional pie but it was tasty! Now, I would definitely come back for more pasta! The pastas were the star. I went with the pesto and loved it. My friends tried the bbq bolognese and spicy sausage. All dishes were clean by the time we wrapped. I'd skip out on pizza next time in favor of a larger bowl of pasta and maybe some dessert. I was too full this time but the choices sounded great. Service was very pleasant! We came on a Saturday night, expecting to eat with the small seating area inside. We were seated right away on the large outdoor patio. The space is much larger than the indoor seating. For food we went with the popular choices, the cacio e pepe fries and the meet me at Floyd's pizza. Both were very special and the fries were so addicting! The pizza is definitely sweet/salty mix with the grape bbq base. It has a little bit of a smoke feel on the brisket. Service was a little on the slow side, it was hard to get more water, boxes and our check. Otherwise, we enjoyed our first visit! The staff was all super friendly and even for a crowded Saturday afternoon, we were delighted with the service and how quick the food came out. Everything we got was delicious and it is hard to even choose a favorite. My boyfriend and I shared the Caesar salad, Cacio e Pepe fries and the Big Mo pizza. It was a decent amount of food and we had some leftovers, but I was glad we ordered all three dishes. The Caesar salad was delicious! The dressing was wonderful and all the salad was evenly coated. The bacon breadcrumbs added a wonderful crunch and there was a satisfying amount of cheese. The fries were nice & crunch and had lots of flavor. The dipping sauce served with this was fabulous and I couldn't get enough of it. The sauce was the perfect compliment to the seasoned fries. The pizza was also very yummy! I really enjoyed the vodka sauce and caramelized onions together. My boyfriend also got the Strawberry Basil Gin Fizz. I am not a huge fan of gin and this drink definitely had a lot of gin flavor, but he really enjoyed the cocktail and actually liked it even better when the ice watered the drink down a bit. We stopped by for a late lunch and this place was great. It was very open with plenty of sunlight, doors open & outdoor seating exposed. We chose a seat near the kitchen where it was semi open and you're able to see the cooks in action. Karen was our server. And she was great. Talked us through the menu and gave us her suggestions as well. We ordered smoked wings (siracha honey), a 12" pizza (meat me at Floyd's) and the strawberry bread pudding to end the meal with. The pizza had a guava bbq sauce, brisket, red onions, and some green onions. The guava bbq sauce had a tiny kick which caught me off guard but it was delicious. A mix of savory, sweet and spicy. The strawberry bread pudding, was warm. I wish it had more strawberries in it but it was good. The pizza was just pepperoni and mushroom pretty basic , I don't think I have ever seen that many mushrooms on a pizza they outnumbered the pepperoni by a long shot, the crust was very dense and chewy. We were lucky to find a parking spot in the parking lot which is fairly small. However, they is many street parking options nearby. The restaurant was not overly packed and we were seated right away. A crisp glass of sauvignon blanc to start and a order of roasted artichoke and pepperoni dip for the table. The garlic bread to dip with was a nice touch. I was able to order the Meat Me At Floyd's pizza with vegan cheese which is a huge plus. The pizza had some of the best braised brisket on top. I would like to see a few more menu options. My waitress was Whitney & she was Awesome! I started with the Flora the Explora made with Don Q Cristal Rum,Cocchi Rosa raspberry syrup, ginger beer & lemon juice. It was refreshing it wasn't too sweet but strong. For my meal I decided to order the Shrimpin AINT Easy pizza & Cacio E Pepe Fries. The pizza came out first and it was sooooo good !! The pizza comes with shrimp , EVOO, Garlic, white wine, pecorino, oregano, parsley & Calabrian chili. I was mad I lost a few shrimps because they are kinda just laying on top of the pizza cut up so they fall off as you pick up the slice. The fries are made with butter pecorino Romano, and black pepper. They are definitely a sharable size & they come with a garlic aioli sauce that paired perfectly with it. If you take your fries to go ask for a to go sauce because they didn't pack it with my leftovers even though i had some left over , I had to ask. To wrap up my meal I ordered a Aperol Spritz Tart , which is an orange aperol custard l, whipped cream and candied orange peel. It was ok if you like orange. It's definitely not overly sweet idk why I thought it would taste like an Aperol Spritz drink , but it was just ok . Overall the ambiance is nice , the place isn't huge . It has inside and outside seating and they also do chef tastings, there is a small spot where that happens right by the kitchen. The customer service was awesome from start to finish. Pigzza is finally here! I live just around the corner and have been counting down the days until they open. We decided to do lunch for my husband's birthday during their grand opening weekend and sat outside on the covered patio. It was a toasty day, but there are fans to keep you cool and it was a great vibe with good music playing. I love the thoughtful design of the space -- the color palette, tiles, terrazzo table tops, lighting fixtures, fluted bar... makes my interior lovin' heart happy! We started off with the Strawberry Basil Fizz & Pigzza Smash (bourbon) cocktails. Both were light and refreshing for a hot day. For food, we ordered the cacio e pepe fries, the spicy sausage tortiglioni, and the "Meat Me at Floyd's" pizza. I'm happy to report that we enjoyed every single thing we tried, but the star of the show for me was the spicy sausage pasta. Omgahhh that sauce is amazing! We ordered the half portion and I will most definitely be getting the full portion (and not sharing) next time, haha. P.S. They also offer gluten-free pasta options! The fries are a great appetizer to snack on and very addictive. We also really loved that they've incorporated some Pig Floyd's flair with the smoked brisket on the pizza and it really worked with the sweetness of the jelly. As with any brand new restaurant, they are still working out the kinks with service and timing, but I have no doubt they will get there. I've waited two months to finally eat here. We pulled to the front and they've got their own lot so don't worry about parking. The outside is massive and the large pig sign is so cute. Inside it's very hip and clean. The colors of the dine in area are fresh and forrest like; greens, grays, and browns. The server we have is super nice her name is sam. She asked if I had any food allergies; I mentioned dairy, egg, peanut and treenut. She brought out a craft of water for the table. Let's talk about drinks- the drink menu has a wide selection however I had me heart set on one drink; Strawberry Basil Gin Fizz. It is an amazing drink, so fresh. Now I was greeted by a woman named Tiffany who I'm assuming is a kitchen manager. She told me with how close the kitchen is together they would not be able to serve me accordingly. I don't like mentioning I'm Yelp elite but as soon as I did her tone changed. She told me maybe the kitchen can whip me up something to eat. I asked her if she'd like me to order a salad- I originally ordered the spicy sausage tottilini with marinara; instead I got undercooked noodles swimming in olive oil with basil and garlic because that is what the head chef could do. I absolutely hate giving bad reviews however I feel in this instance it's appropriate. I am truly baffled that they can cook for vegans but not someone that has food allergies; granted they have been open for about two months however I did not appreciate bieng told we can't cook for you. With all the vibrant and different restaurants on Mills- even Hawkers down the street can cook for me. Pros: The vibe of the restaurant is bright and uplifting. The two types of bar counter tops are really cool. Are server Sam is so nice and attentive! The drink I ordered is fresh and yummy. The food here was absolutely excellent, you could tell they really put a lot of thought and attention to detail creating these dishes and making them feel not only authentically Italian but traditionally tasting. The location is super cute, the staff is friendly, the food is amazing, and the drinks are great. Came in for an early dinner on weeknight. The location is a little smaller and we didn't have a reservation so we had the choice to sit at the bar or out on the patio. We were not dressed to sit on the patio (too hot) so we sat at the bar in front of the kitchen. We were so happy that we picked that spot since we got to see the food coming out to the tables right from the kitchen. Bad news was that by the time my food came I was starving since I saw all of the amazing looking food. We started with the cacio E pepe fries. They were really tasty and cooked well. We almost were able to eat about half the order since it was larger so great to share with a group. I ordered the Cat Jumper for a cocktail. It was well balanced and refreshing and is made with one of my favorite gins (Waterloo). For the entree, we shared the Bianca pizza with fresh ricotta cheese. The crust was perfectly cooked and just the right thickness so it didn't fill us up, but perfect size to share. We were so impressed with how quick the food came out, our servers, and other staff checking on us, and the quality of our food that we ordered the dessert. I loved the flavor of the tart and the filling. The crust was a little hard to "cut" but it was not really hard. Came here on a Tuesday night after a recommendation from a friend. Rainy night, and no problem getting in. First off, everyone was friendly. Mixed on the food; It was one of those long days (at the springs) and around 8 pm so maybe we were tired and didn't full appreciate it all. Ordered a larger Caesar for the table (4 of us). Surprisingly ( in a good way) they kitchen split it for us. It had a ton of parmesan, probably too much. My youngest is a self proclaimed Caesar afficionado and she didn't eat too much of it. Ordered a Big Mo Pizza for the table. It was good but I think I would have appreciated it more not being so tired. Also ordered a Spicy Sausage Rigatoni. Our first experience wasn't phenomenal, but we came back for a second round and was much better for us. First round - they wouldn't let us make any adjustments (I wanted the spicy pasta but with meatballs instead of the spicy sausage bc I don't handle spice well), so we ended up just getting the spaghetti & meatballs, which I didn't see on the menu yesterday. We also got the Big Mo pizza which was very salty from the onions! Once we took those off it was more manageable. The final thing we got was the pizza dip, which everyone at the table loved except for me so it's a me thing, but something about the consistency. There was also not enough bread pieces for the amount of dip. Second round - we went with a large group so we just ordered a bunch of stuff and all shared. We did end up getting the shareable fries which were delicious and the only thing I managed to get a picture of lol we also got the Caesar salad, calamari, the spicy pasta, pep pizza, and the white pizza (idr the name of it). LONG REVIEW ALERT: I wanted to wait some time and give this place a couple of tries before reviewing because, fun fact, I worked with the architecture firm that designed this restaurant as a project designer. Though, I had only a small hand in some of the design work, I had seen this project through its various stages. So, it was a GRAND PLEASURE to actually finally be a patron and see the finished results of this project. Another fun fact, this restaurant follows a long line of other restaurants, that many may know: Pig Floyd's! If you have NOT been to Pig Floyd's, I highly recommend that you amend that, and get over there ASAP! And before I wrap this random segment up, these restaurants are owned by the same owner - whom the firm I use to work with has also helped with other minor renovation projects on pre-existing restaurants. So, again, as an architectural designer, it's always a JOY seeing work that was once 2D and living in a virtual space actually come to fruition and be a tangible and usable space for all to experience. Anyways, with that said, on to the food and drinks! I must note, I didn't get any pictures of the food because it was all devoured (so, I'll make a point of it, to get some shots before I dive in next time I visit). However, I did snap a couple pics of my drink. The food was really delicious. I went with a friend and we shared the wedge salad - which was just REMARKABLE you hear me!! It was sooooo good, so fresh and the dressing was clearly made with love!! It's a bit large, so, it's a great dish to share for two but if you're a bit hungry, it's more than enough for one person! We also shared The Casper pie - which was quite tasty!! It's your standard pie size (12"), so, again, great to share for two! Unless, of course, you're starving, then by all means, chow down on your own pie! We didn't get any desserts but I will the next time I go! Alongside the good eats, I had an espresso martini (see image and boomerang) and my friend had the strawberry basil gin fizz (not pictured). As a newbie to espressos martinis, I can say, I enjoyed it immensely. I am sure the espresso martini connoisseurs may be able to give a deeper critique, but for me, it was really good! I also, had the glass of rosé, which, was nice, crisp and dry (the way I love my rosé wine). Overall, biases aside as a designer, the food and drinks were good!! The food menu is not overly extensive, so if you're easily overwhelmed with extensive menus, then look no further! The drink menu is the opposite , but it's not scary extensive. I LOVE the variety in wines offered. From a designer standpoint, the restaurant is a beautiful blend of the popular reemergence of the mid-century modern style (which has been popular as of late) with an industrial fusion, and some subtle farmhouse chic moments. There's an artful use of sage-y green with unique plays in the texture and depth of the tiles, paints and mixture of furniture styles. Nice restaurant. Beautiful porch, interior isn't huge but they do take reservations so plan ahead. Love the open kitchen concept, fun to watch them work also impressed by the cleanliness (since I could even see under the vent hood). Server was friendly and knowledgeable. He made good recommendations and didn't hard sell anything. We split a pepperoni pizza and half order of bucatini carbonara. Pizza was good. High quality ingredients and tasty crust. Definitely order again. The carbonara was surprisingly tasty (I'm not a fan of traditional versions with heavy egg flavor). This had a nice garlicky, cheesy flavor to balance the egg and judicious use of black pepper. Cocktail menu is creative and there's certainly more items on the menu to try. I have been eagerly waiting for Pigzza to open for months, and it definitely lived up to the hype! It lives up to Pig Floyd's reputation and brings some fresh new flavors. The interior is thoughtfully decorated with vintage-looking photos and clean wood textures - the interior design is great! Plenty of outdoor space to eat as well. We wanted to try as much food as possible to split among a group, and it worked out great! The Cacio e Pepe fries were a surprising appetizer that delivered on flavor and fry quality - the sauce that came with them paired perfectly! The roasted artichoke and pepperoni dip was a game changer - the mesh of flavors with the garlic and pepperoni was awesome! The bread it's served with is a perfect side. We also tried two pastas, and I love that they offer half servings here! Both were a perfect blend of Italian meets BBQ, and the pulled pork was so tasty. We also loved the pizzas - they all had great flavor and the crust is perfectly soft! They do it all well, from the classic pepperoni to the Meet Me At Floyd's (which is basically a BBQ sandwich as a pizza!), everything here really hit the mark. To top it off, the service was great - a manager checked in on us several times to make sure we had what we needed, and they even told us they remade a pizza before bringing it out since it wasn't up to par for them. After two months of them opening, I finally was able to try Pigzza on Mills Ave. I always say if it's located on Mills it has to be good! Pigzza describes their food as Italian-ish, serving up pizza, pastas, and parm. The building is very much modern and stylish with the green and black accents. They have a lovely inside with a open kitchen, bar seating, and a large patio for outdoor seating. I liked that the menu was easy to read and not overwhelming. We were their first customers at 11 so service fast, but picked up pretty quick inside. Didn't order alcohol but all the drinks around me looked good! We started with their Calamari R.I. style which was breaded with cornmeal, topped with banana pepper with a side of garlic aioli & red sauce. I found the breading to be a little heavy and salty which took away from the squid taste, but the aioli paring was nice. I will order the Cacio e pepe fries next time. All their pizzas are 12" which makes it easy to try multiple and share. The Shrimpin' Ain't Easy wasn't your average red sauce, mozzarella pizza. The pizza has shrimp, EVOO, garlic, white wine, pecorino, fresh oregano, parsley & Calabrian chili. The chili oil really does give it some bite! I would describe it more as a flatbread, which made me miss the sauce aspect of a pizza. The Big Mo has vodka sauce, mozz, fontina, roasted mushrooms, caramelized onions & chives. This style tasted fresh with all the veggies and cheeses. I'm a big fan of wood fired pizza because of the thinness and crunch, but I loved that their crust still had a nice thick chew to it. Overall, I would come again for the ambiance and the eats. Id love to do a deep dive on their appetizers and pastas next time! read more

Parking is limited in the lot by the restaurant, but there's lots of street parking both in front on the main road and on the street behind as well. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, but we opted to sit outside. The restaurant is right along the road, but I didn't feel like the noise was too distracting. Service was also nice and quick! I got the spicy sausage rigatoni and it definitely had a kick! It was very tasty and I'd recommend it if you enjoy spicy foods. They offer half sizes of their pasta which I got and found it very filling. Overall, a nice spot and I'm very curious to try their pizzas next :) read more

I love the pizza here!! The crust is the perfect density for me, a little chewy but crispy on the outside. The Big Mo is our favorite, but I'm excited to try out the others. The service here has always been a little awkward, but not unpleasant. I also was not a fan of adding $5 just to get truffle oil on french fries... like I understand truffles are expensive but for the amount of flavor it added to the fries it just wasn't worth it imo. It's a tiny place but very cool interior design and I thought it was a nice touch that there are different daytime & nighttime playlists! read more

Stephanie L took great care of us and had some good recommendations on what to try. We ended up sharing a ceasar/ kale salad ($8) that was just right for the 2 of us. We also shared a 12" cheese pizza ($15), which is 6 slices, and we brought home 2 slices. Pizza crust is made from sourdough, but you can't really tell with the sauce.
