Pinball has been a go-to takeout pizza place for several years. They always have a coupon online and the pizza is inexpensive and good! We always order for pickup. This is a takeout place only. There is no sit down eating spots. No frills. Street parking. The last few times we ordered, it seems like they've added a little more seasoning to their sauce, which I love! I ordered thru Grubhub and the notification was not accurate. I scheduled for a deliver but showed up within 15 mins. Wasn't ready to eat. Not only that, but the driver was not from Grubhub but from the restaurant instead. The guy didn't speak English and pounded on my door. I told him to leave it at my door as instructed but then he said "you have to pay". I told him I already paid for this through Grubhub. He demanded that I open the door and pay him. I said no. He said I'll take the food away. I called Grubhub and complained. The driver then says " I call my boss". Then he said " oh sorry you paid" and left the food outside, I was too scared to open the door for a while. Needless to say Grubhub didn't do anything and the food was cold and the salad soggy. Oh my gah, I found my new fave pizza place! After discovering there wasn't a convenient make-your-own-pizza in the near vicinity, I decided to check out the takeout situation here. I've seen this place countless times when I was across the street at Quenelle, so decided to try it out. Got the medium The Works pizza (and requested a thin crust) as well as an order of buffalo wings. The pizza was pure perfection -- the crust was thin but still held all the toppings well. The buffalo wings were plump and juicy... a tad too saucy, but tasty! The sauce was more of a bbq taste than hot sauce - it wasn't spicy at all. I think this is one of the best pizzas in Burbank and a great value for your money . The parking is not the best on magnolia but it is well worth the walk around the block from keystone . . Had this place for the first time yesterday, I'm a huge chicken wing fan and I must say I got their wings well done sauce on the side and they were the equivalent to sub my favorite wings like Wingstop or Buffalo wild wings just way cheaper and just as amazing! Man, this place is Burbanks frugal best kept secret. Have you ever made a pizza at home, that it didnt taste like Pizza Hut or Dominos because you didnt skimp yourself on sauce or cheese. At Pinball they only deliver and offer pick-ups, so you cant dine there cause there isnt any tables. Theyre open from 4pm - 12am which is usually my primetime for grubbin. and have coupon specials. My favorite coupon special is the Medium 1 topping for $4.99......wow....!!! you can add toppings for $0.75 each topping. I order the medium special with breakfast bacon, ground beef, fresh garlic, and mushrooms. if im not feelin pizza i order the chicken strips, french fries, and mozarella fries. Its freakin awesome. and when im feelin wild i get the Ribs, the Broasted Chicken, and the fried scallops & oysters. Woooooooow....!!!! We paid about $15+ tax for 2 large pizzas with 2 toppings on each If I could make a suggestion, it would be that they offer a wider variety of toppings and also some kind of marinara or dipping sauce on the side for the crust.
