With the severe uprise of the Delta virus, you would think management and owners would allow their employees to wear masks when serving customers. Our waitress said management forced them to remove their masks. Wow! Says a lot about management, Lee Health is at capacity and this is how they value their employees?? Had a great few (4) stone crab legs.They were great and full of meat. I had forgotten ask for them warm and with butter. When I changed it, she took care of it. So my family and I are on vacation in this area and wanted some seafood. We decided on this placed based of recommendations. We called ahead due to a large party size. They said they did not do reservations which was ok with us but the wait would not be long. We got there and ended up having to split our party in half and still waited forty five minutes at a not busy time of the evening. They placed is in booths right next to each other which was fine with us because we were hungry. We had a four month old in a carrier and an 18 month old in our party of twelve, now two parties of six. They did not offer any accommodation for the carrier so we made due, we pulled up a chair to put the carrier on it....again, it was all good because we just wanted to eat. About forty minutes after we ordered and were waiting for our meal, a male worker came up to our table that had the chair at the end and proceded to tell us that we had to move the chair immediately because "that thing" was a fire hazard. That thing being my daughter in a makeshift carrier stand. We ended up moving the carrier to an adjacent table and two of our party moved down to the table to finish their meals. So now we were a part of twelve at three different tables. I have a problem with a place that first cannot seat the party available and then cannot accommodate the needs of that party appropriately and then gets mad when that party has to make accommodations on their own. I understand fire hazards and that there are no exceptions, but handle it with appropriate customer service. Don't leave a customer hanging and then attack them when you don't do your job. I'm glad I am only visiting as I will not return to this restaurant. As far as the food goes, the crab dip was pretty good, the mozzarella sticks were fair, the mahi was excellent, and the green beans were perfect. Our server was very good as well. Two stars because you have a terrible manager, or someone that is doing the job of a manager...either way, terrible management. read more

Oh my goodness - our bachelorette party had the best first night dinner at Pinchers! I could not get over how awesome our waiter, Ramsey, was. Honestly, all of the staff that helped us was so great! This is our favorite spot in Cape Coral! Whenever we're in the area we always have to stop in. The staff is super friendly and inviting. The atmosphere is casual, so even if we're heading back from the beach, we know we can stop in to have a quick bite! Also, if you choose to sit outside, you will have a great view. This is my first time visiting Cape Coral. My husband and I were hungry so I used my Yelp app to find an establishment that served seafood. Pinchers was the closest place and had ok reviews so we decided to eat there. We were seated immediately which was great! Sara was our waitress, very kind and attentive. We order the crab and cheese dip for an appetizer which was ok, we have had better. I ordered the 1lb "king" crab legs for $65.00 and my husband ordered the crab lump cake with "garlic" bread. When we received our dinner, my "king" crab legs came cold and were small - almost felt hollow and my husbands crap cake was room temperature and the bread tasted like buttered bread - no garlic taste. I sent back my crab legs as I refused to pay $65.00. Sara was very apologetic and asked me if I wanted to order anything else. I did ask for the menu, as I was reviewing the menu the "manager" Ricky asked me "what do you want to order"? - never apologized, never asked me how can he rectify the situation, NEVER acknowledged the fact that I received cold/crappy crab legs! When I told him I ordered a crab and corn chowder his response was "oh ok" and walked away. Why did he even bother coming to our table if he was not going to try and help out? So many options for food, salads, sandwiches, meals, tacos, pasta- with the fish able to be prepared gilled/fried/blackened...If you like options, this is the place to go. Portions are large. I had blacked grouper tacos. You get 2 tacos topped with chipotle aioli, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomato and mango salsa. This also came with 2 sides. We order shrimp, crab cake, and snow crab. Trust me nothing fancy, just average food. The service well not much to write home about, took awhile just to get some refills and the bill. Well this is the second try for this restaurant. Decided to visit the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and was seated on the patio - our party of five. After being seated, our waitress was very attentive and professional. We started our meal with the crab claw appetizer - you can skip this. The claws tasted frozen and microwaved - but the bread and butter garlic juice was awesome dipping sauce. At the recommendation of our waitress I tried the blackened grouper fish tacos. Being from Texas I really like fish tacos, so I will be nice. You can skip this entree too. Unfortunately the kitchen was backed up after we placed our order. The manager was very gracious and generous by offering a free dessert for our entire party. Since we own a property in Cape Coral we visit here frequently. I would recommend you choose any place besides Pinchers. Maybe their mediocre food is due to their proximity to the $600k plus condos that is walking distance to the front door. read more

However service was excellent, location was nice, loud atmosphere, a little clustered, but they manage it well. I don't recommend getting a glass of water it tasted weird. However they had wells, margs, and wine buy one get one, I don't know if that was just Friday happy hour though. Between the group we had grilled grouper, one fried grouper, one fried grouper sandwich, oysters, snow crab, and a grilled cheese (cheese sandwich because it came out not melted at all). this place was........meh. the only few good things about this place was the strong drinks, and grant the server. we had a family party of all ages (15 people) celebrating tons of life events; promotions, moving into a new house, graduations from college, acceptances into college....and more. so my step dad went around the table talking about we're celebrating & we clapped & cheered for each one. mind you, we were in the very back corner of the whole establishment. within 10 minutes, a manager named danielle came to our table and in an extremely RUDE, snarky & demeaning tone said "i'm gonna need you guys to not be loud. we have guests bla bla bla" okay so first off....since when was pinchers a romantic, quiet restaurant? it has a full liquor bar with big screen tvs. i've never known a seafood place (sucky seafood at that) to be quiet & "chill". but she demanded. so we obliged. in addition to the rude & miserable manager, the food was ....... also meh. the only good thing i tried amongst the many we ordered (grouper sandwich, conch fritters, oysters, calamari, grilled shrimp, boom boom shrimp, fries, tacos, shrimp scampi, coconut shrimp, mozz sticks, etc) the only good things i tried were the conch fritters & ......that's literally it. when my mom chose this place for her graduation, i was excited. i've been craving seafood (good seafood) for FOREVER!!! i saw the menu & couldn't wait. to my dismay, it was all terrible. the only good thing about this experience was grant, our serve for the night. he was attentive, funnny, kind, patient, celebratory, and more. he was very timely & considerate of our party size, and did the whole party without any help beside food runners bringing our dinner. i would never suggest this place, even if you're staying at the westin. take the food minutes & drive away from here. We decided to check this place out. The wife and I along with my two daughters stopped in to see what kind of food they had so we did and we decided to give it a try. Our server was Grant. Very professional and a nice young man. Our food was so darn good we over did it and the portions we such a good size we had plenty to take home to snack on for later. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants great tasting food with a great portion size. The scenery of the boats and water is a plus if you take table outside overlooking the marina. So, I'm not what you'd call a regular reviewer. However, I feel compelled to leave a negative review after many many subpar visits. Good news, the employees seem to like this place less than me. They do like to argue with customers, and on a number of occasions, they have tried to qualify their mistakes with bizarre logic. For example: My order. Bowl of crab and corn chowder and salad. Server brings a cup of cold clam chowder. I call her on it and she brings back a cup of lukewarm crab chowder. I ask, what about my bowl? Oh, no worries, your salad is huge. I give up. Second example: My order. Grouper platter. Server brings tilapia platter. She engages in a stellar argument that it is grouper. I'm a fisherman, probably grouper fishing once a week. I'd say I know. Third example: See attached to first example. My huge Ceasar salad arrives. No dressing. Lots of diced tomatoes. Wtf. I give up. Overall, this place is open later than most restaurants in the Cape, and they do 2 for 1 drinks. But the food is akin to dog food. I guess they don't have an option for less than one star. read more

A hop from our hotel, it only seemed like a reasonable choice to eat here after laying out by the pool toasting and drinking all afternoon. Who wants to drive? Not me! When we walked in, it was pretty packed but we were still seated right away. The girl that seated us grabbed a piece of brown paper from a roll so that she could lay it on our table to collect the mess we were about to make. My daughter used that paper as her canvas and drew all over it. The waitress was nice and made suggestions which was great? Nothing better than being made aware of house specialties and local favorites! I went with the blackened Mahi. This would have been absolutely perfect if it had just a tad less salt. The grill flavor and texture of the fish was on point. The seasoning was also good but again, just a little too salty. I also had the fresh green beans which were fresh indeed and i really loved them along side the garlic mash. I ate every morsel! We ordered conch fritters for the table but being from Miami, I've gone over to the Bahamas enough times and had my fair share of conch fritters. These were a bit bland on flavor but not bad I guess. Seriously good crab and corn soup. A steal for 3.50! Beyond that, things get a little greasier and questionable as to the real value. But having said that-- when is the last time you've been to a restaurant that serves 2 for 1 beers every hour of the day they're open? None, right? This was a first for me. It's a good gimmick and it works really, really well, as this place over on the Westin property (and on the water; marina) literally packs em in with this twofer on all draft beers. I gotta give 5 stars for that one, and the service is also very competent (not too many 16-17 year olds being given the keys to run the restaurant here...). But as much as I loved the Florida fishing motif and the great Florida cracker wall deco and art, many if not most items are in a basket when delivered to your table or barstool (they do have a huge menu, make no mistake). And we all know what "in a basket" means: deep fried and lots of grease. They pack the folks in every night and I went there twice. Won't be back a third time except in a late-night pinch, or if the wife and I are on the prowl for cheap Corona Light drafts, or the off-chance I need some additional cholesterol running through my arteries. We ate dinner here last night with some friends. When we arrived we sat at the bar till our table outside was ready. Waited about 10 minutes to get a drink. Table was ready in about 15 and I stayed behind to pay the bill. Literally 15 minutes to get someone to get me my check and there were only 2 other people sitting at the bar. So bar service 0 stars ( for me anyways ) I doubt it's always like that So for dinner I had the Grouper platter. It was good but I did have a bone in my fish. My wife had the grouper Reuben which she said was good. The others seemed to enjoy their meal and the waitress was very nice and attentive. The men's restroom could use a cleaning..my shoes were sticking to the floor as I walked out.. Anyways, the location is very nice and I would say the nicest Pincher's I've seen. read more
