Went for the 2 for 1 drinks and was expecting to sit a while and kick back a few for the good deal. We ended up getting two small glasses full of ice with a few sips of margarita. We mentioned to the bartender the glass was mostly just full of ice to which he replied, "so would you like another one?". We said "no thanks", paid, got up and left. So not worth it. We paid, regretted getting screwed out of our money and left. For there being hardly anyone there you would think they would try to make the few patrons they had happy. I am not a fan of seafood. I went there mostly to please me wife. I ordered the ribs. I have never in my life not finished a slab of ribs till now. There the precooked slabs that you get in discount grocery stores. Fries were stale and overcooked no seasoning and were probably fried in the same old oil as the fish. Beans were from a can and not even a good can. Night was ended with exceptional weak cup of coffee. I won't be dragged back. Pinchers used to be one of our favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, we had friends visit from Boston yesterday and they were excited to go there. We all got fish and chips (which we recommended). When we received our meals, we thought it was a joke. The fish was about one third of what it used to be. It was one skinny little piece. The fries, which we used to love were old, dried up, and ice cold and less than half of what we always received. We were all still very hungry and ordered crab Rangoon. They were tasty but were really really small.. Prices were also considerably higher. I understand inflation and rising costs but to raise the prices so much And cut the portions by over 50 percent And serve old, cold dried up fries means I will Never go back....I see bankruptcy coming soon. Last night I tried the chicken parm. Terrible. Today...Yeah these wings are ice cold in the middle. Literally, ice cold. "The good news is the chicken wings are pre cooked. So even if they're cold you won't get sick." No, not really. That's not good news at all.You're basically telling me you're serving me frozen food. So not only is it not fresh, but it's undercooked. My expectations were low. Not a big fan of pricy seafood dive like places. But the food was really good! The apps were great, the garlic crab claws were very flavorful with butter and garlic, the crab cheese dips was delish, all the others were good too (table of 12 folks). One thing I ask myself when going to a restaurant with multiple locations is "how much is this one like the other(s)?" With Pinchers on Cape Coral, the situation was no different. Now, I'm a fan of Pinchers and this one location did not make me change my opinions about the place: it's a-ok. They serve up reasonably priced drinks (2 for 1 all day!) and fresh seafood. I opted for the blackened grouper sandwich with coleslaw and fries. The filet was appropriately thin (grouper is an expensive fish and it kept the sandwich from being too sloppy) and the sides were freshly made it seemed. One of my random pet peeves, though, is when the sandwich bun/bread is saturated with butter. This was unfortunately the case for my sandwich, especially with the oiliness of the blackened seasoning, so it made for a rather greasy experience. There was also one fish bone still in the grouper, which could been dangerous had I swallowed it. Having said this, the food was still pretty good. Pinchers does a great job in creating a fun, family friendly vibe too so we had a nice time at this location overall. read more

What a great find for Cape Coral. The food comes out hot and is delicious. The waitstaff is cheerful and friendly. Where else can you be on the water in Tarpon Point Harbor with such a beautiful setting. We have been here several,several times and the food and service is always consistent. Not a fan of Pinchers at all! There are just too many seafood restaurants in the Cape Coral/Fort Myers area to waste your time eating here! It's very much like a Red Lobster or any other chain restaurant you can find in any city in the country. The service is sub par and the food is just so so. They do have 2 for 1 drink specials but they bring both of the drinks at the same time. This means either your 2nd draft beer will be warm by the time you drink it (unless you're into chugging!) or your cocktail will be watered down. I will not be returning to this location nor will I check out any of the other locations associated with this chain. read more

Their key lime pie used to be frozen and delicious, now it tastes like a jello instant pie - disgusting. Service is up and down, food is starchy, and value for the money just is not there. So many better alternatives. I do not like Pinchers! read more

Such a fun place! The deals were amazing, and the seafood was really fresh! Everyone was really nice, and there was a laid back atmosphere. It's right on the water, but there wasn't a great view from the restaurant because of docked boats. I'd still recommend this restaurant to anyone, though! read more

My family came to visit us in FL. They wanted to try Pinchers once again. Last year when they were here, we had such an awful experience, our food took 93 minutes, it was cold....drinks came at the end of the meal. They took the drink charges off....Went last week and guess what?? Waited 10 minutes for our server, 2 meals came after a 45 minute wait and 2 never did come. Spoke to 2 managers, they said they had problems in the kitchen (Same excuse as last year.) People near us got served, ate and left and we still didn't get our food....the manager asked us what time we put our food order in...HELLO, how do I know that. They took 2 meals off the bill...had to pay for our drinks. Too many good restaurants in FM to visit this one again. read more

Well, it was my first time at Pinchers.... sadly, our waitress Victoria didn't have any smile and was trying to act friendly but it didn't really work. All thing about two drinks for one is cool, but as we were explained they have to bring two of them in one time, so better hurry up drinking your first and get to the seconds before it gets warm Note: we sat at the table at 7pm and left at 10!! Food was brought at 8:40 (order was placed way before 8 pm). Explanation on "why did it take so long", manager told us that they had breakdown on the kitchen. I MEAN SERIOUSLY?!?! BREAKDOWN!? Dined here twice in a week and wasn't disappointed. First was for lunch. Had the Rock Shrimp served with scampi sauce,highly recommend! Had the fish and chips for meal. Nothing out of the ordinary, pollock lightly fried well done. Second time was dinner,Alaskan king crab and stone crabs were delicious. We went here while on vacation with my parents. Both my husband and I ordered the tuna which was not on the menu. Now we know why. It was a frozen tuna steak (your a waterfront restaurant), never serve frozen fish. The hand cut fries needed to be fried longer to let them crisp up but ours were soft. So gross. This restaurant has an awesome location and has incredible potential. The staff is clearly only there to make a pay check because any time you ask them about the food or what they would eat their answers seem to be forced, but yet we still ordered food for a family of 4 and every single thing that we ordered was disgusting, frozen and dethawed (nothing is fresh), fruit cups poured out of fruit cups you buy at a store, it was just all gross. You know those times that you eat something and you have a bad after taste afterwards and you just have to eat something else to get that taste out of your mouth even if you brush your teeth... this is that place. Just go to the hotel restaurant. This restaurant is on the water and the fish that they serve there should be fresh from the water. read more

This was our second visit in a months time and 2nd time ordering the exact same meal. The first meal during phase 1 reopening was takeout (clam strip platter). We arrived home only to discovered it was severely over fried. Today we decided to give them another chance and dined in this time ordering the same thing.
