Pinchers is great, for a local chain. Serving portions are decent, we almost always have leftovers. The draft beers are always served in pairs (2 for 1), but they're about 6-8 oz mugs.. so if you're an average imbiber, get an order to share, then another... so it doesn't get warm. Their Krab wontons are excellent. We often bring family and friends here because of options, location, and the price. Very pretty harbor views. Take a walk to the naughty Mermaid after dinner for a nightcap and watch the sunset. Service has always been prompt and friendly. Highly recommend. We spend the month of February in cape coral. We hit Pinchers at least once a week. The 2 for 1 Margurita's or Sangria's are a treat. Never had a bad meal and the service is usually great. Some of their deserts are decadent. read more

This chain restaurant is for an amateur to Southwest Florida unfortunately. It reminds me of a red lobster up north, which we stayed far away from after we realized what good seafood is all about! The area and view is spectacular though. The wait staff was very good as well. The buy one get one drink specials are amazing. My husband and I had a Blackened stuffed with crab Grouper and again unfortunately it was one of the worst groupers we've ever had and for $42, it definitely was not worth it. For the past 3 years we have been going to this restaurant. We keep trying it and hoping the dinner will be better, but it does not. The soft shell crab is the worst and over priced. Service was not good, asked for a refill on water and was never provided. Manage stopped by to asked us how the dinner was even before we got anything. He never came back to follow up. We appreciated the plexiglass partitions around our booth by the open garage doors. Wait staff were masked. However, the food was sub-par. My grouper sandwich was so-so and my daughters gluten free salad arrived with bread and croutons, so she had to wait for another and the rest of us were nearly finished with our meals when hers arrived. Our waitress took the blame for not putting the order in right. Be aware the gluten free menu consists of grilled or broiled seafood or choice of two salads. If the gluten-free menu had been available online we might not have gone there. But we called ahead to make sure they offered it. Two for one drink specials on some beverages and an extensive menu, but none of our five entrees were anything to rave about, including the shrimp scampi which lacked sauce, and the hogfish platter. The alligator bites were good and the crab corn chowder had a bit of a kick. You will drive through a gated area marked guests, where you are profiled on your way by. Well the food was really poor except for two things, the coconut shrimp was good as was the key lime pie. Skip the fish and chips, there is no fish! Just batter! We couldn't believe it! 1/8 inch of fish with batter in it. Sideways you could hardly see the fish. The French fries were over cooked, cold and limp. Great spot to have lunch when in Cape Coral. Has a fair amount of boat slips available for you to park or if you drive they have a large garage next to the restaurant. Staff is very friendly and the manager stops by during your meal to check in and see how things were. Pretty good beer special and the food is good. I had the fried shrimp platter and they serve a large portion. If you like spicy food def want to consider getting their hot sauce that they sell. Wish I could give them a big fat zero but unfortunately I can't. I have a gluten allergy and went here because they provide you a gluten free menu to choose items from. I made sure our waitress knew I have celiac and can't have gluten. She was greats d checked anything she was unsure of. I ordered gluten free (listed in their GF menu) and after eating a little I noticed there was spaghetti in the bottom of the dish. Oops! Sorry they said. I advise everyone to not eat here because they can't make what's on their menu right! I am shocked that they knew I was headed to my hotel to await my sickness and our bill still was $85! I was never greeted, she wrote her name down on the large paper and walked away. I told her I wanted a sprite she gave me a hot can of soda and 5 minutes later gave me a cup of ice, two minutes after that the top for the cup. Never said have a good day. You chose your job and you need to serve everyone with kindness equally!! Calamari didn't have flavor, the gumbo was on point and the shrimp was fresh some of them still had that thick black vein in it so meh. Yes it was today and waitress name started with an L. FYI...be advised there is parking right in front of the Cape Carol location along with handicapped spaces...when full you need to walk 35 yards to a parking structure. Now the food. I tried first off ...the bowl of gumbo $ 8 bucks....NOT WORTH IT,( see Photograph ) On my first taste it was over salty...the spiciness came back around after my first swallow. Though only spicy for a Floridian. Then there was the hardly any wild rice...Maybe 2-3 ounces if that...Plus I counted maybe 3 pieces of a sausage and 1-2 baby shrimp... A BIG WASTE OF MONEY..!!! My entree a grouper blacken sandwich $ 17.00... I asked for it to be spicy...NOPE not at all.. It was the sized just over a baseball...2 ounces of cole slaw..not so bad..And the only forgiving item of my meal was steak sized french fries....(See Photograph )... My mom and I came to this restaurant on our last night with the hotel. It was convenient and the menu seemed good. The service was great. We were seated right away even though we requested a table outside by the dock. The view was phenomenal and the weather was perfect. Our server, Jacob, was great. Super attentive and really nice. However I wasn't 100% impressed with what I ordered. I didn't really notice any crab in the hot crab and cheese dip & pinchers claws were really oily. Granted they're cooked in garlic butter, it was almost soupy. And the meat was hard to get off because I couldn't really grip the claw due to the excessive butter.
