Stopped by for dinner. It was a Thursday around 5pm. We got seated and attended to right away. Good service. Food was quick. It was good and as described. I didn't see any of the issues that other reviewers have mentioned. Maybe it is growing pains as I know this is a fairly new location. We were on vacation and not from Florida. So, I can not speak for the franchise as I know they are regional. But I can say we had a great experience and would recommend this location to others. read more

A great restaurant while stopping by Marco Island which should be on your list of restaurants to hit while visiting. The location is great, right across from Hilton in a quaint downtown center. We called ahead a half an hour to reserve a table for 7 people at 7:00 and Immediately we were treated well. We got Monica as or waitress who handled our complicated order quite well and always did it with a smile. We promptly got our appetizers which were good. We then got stone crab as well as blue crab along with some sides. They all were excellent but the sides could have been a little bigger for there price. We then ordered shrimp, hush puppies, and the crab dip which were all very good. And to finish the night there two for one margarita specials were great for the adults. I don't know where to start. We had dinner here and really enjoyed it. Good clam chowder & corn/crab chowder. One dinner was crab cake & other was fried oysters. Everything was delicious including 2 for 1 margaritas which were not watered down. Only complaint was one dinner came out 5 minutes before the other. They should have held mine until other was ready. Server apologized and was very nice. (Casual place, not gourmet but would have rated our experience 4 stars) We enjoyed it so much we went there for lunch the next day & everything went wrong. Friend ordered clam chowder but was served corn chowder which was luke warm. I ordered fish sandwich which was not cooked through & the fries were chewy! Sent both meals back & both got soup. Then we ordered one slice key lime pie to share and it was served FROZEN. Waiter provided an explanation which made no sense. (1 star experience) read more

Our three year loved the fish hanging so I walked her around the place showing her the fish. We left without ordering. This was one of the worst restaurants I've been to in a long time. The service was very poor, and on a night where there was almost no people here, it took us about 20 minutes to get seated. The food was just not good; and the prices were too high for the lack of quality. I would recommend going literally anywhere else. If I could give 0 stars I would. Also, all of the side dishes were not tasty, please, for the health of your stomach, don't eat here. Perhaps if they scaled down the menu and perfected their seafood items. read more

We called 30 minutes ahead of our arrival time. When we arrived we were told we could sit outside or wait another 30 minutes for a table inside. We went outside to the "new" patio where it was very hot with no fans and the flies were horrible!! The server even commented on how bad they were. We asked a manager if there were fans or if we could go inside and he said "since you have already been seated, you will go to the bottom of the wait list if you choose to come inside". He told me that the patio was new seating and that the fans had not been installed yet-- I feel like they should have Given us that information before we were seated. We didn't want to wait another hour so we ordered-- One of our appetizers arrived quickly but the other one came with the food. Two of the eight entrees weren't served until we were almost finished eating. When the manager came out to bring the last entree, he offered absolutely NO apology and Actually made a smart comment about how "he was all out of fly swatters at the moment." The bill was $160- nothing was offered as complimentary nor were we even give an apology. Such a shame-- the food was good but the flies and the heat made the meal miserable. read more

DON'T BOTHER GOING! I just left there from stopping in mid-afternoon on a weekday. There were more servers than patrons. Despite that when we went to the bar we were told to see the hostess. One hostess walked by twice. The second time she said she'd be right back. Finally a different hostess seated us but without any greeting. We then sat 7-10 minutes without a server showing up. I have waited three weeks before giving this review because I usually love this restaurant. When we went the place smelled of bad fish. We didn't let that deter us though. Unfortunately, all the fish tasted like it had been frozen too long. They tried to cover it by over salting the food. Maybe, in low season, the place keeps fish too long. My wife and I ate here December 12, 2018 for the second time during our stay on Marco Island. We came back for their seasonal specialty of stone crabs. She had the large crab special which was on sale. Unfortunately, one of the 4 large crab legs which came with this special had a bad, spoiled smell and could not be eaten. The waitress freely admitted it had a bad smell and arranged for a replacement. She did not even seem surprised. This put a big damper on the rest of the meal and made us wonder if the reason for the sale on this size crab was that they knew it was getting old. I had the grouper which was blackened. I was not even sure it was grouper because it was tough and chewy rather than light and flaky. It tasted fine however. This experience was in stark contrast to our meal a few nights ago at this restaurant which we enjoyed. read more

We were looking for quick casual while staying at a nearby hotel. It was really busy but I had joined the waitlist on yelp so didn't wait long at all. With covid it made me uncomfortable to sit inside. We were seated in the corner so no one on 3 sides, The table next to us was left empty so that was good but on the back side of the booth there was a family close with a plastic divider. The menu is huge and made it hard to decide. For starters the crab claws were really good and the crab soup also. For entrees, I enjoyed my crab cake served with garlic mash and rice pilaf. My husbands fish and chips were not good though. Stay away from the Alaskan pollock, he wished he had gotten the grouper instead. Kids eat free with adult entrees, one had pasta and the other had chicken fingers and were happy. They really liked their milk shakes that we took to go as well. Went for lunch, so there wasn't any wait which seems to be common. The food was okay, but seemed a little pricey (probably the case with fresh). Our food was delicious, hot and served in a timely manner. All the wait staff were very pleasant, especially our waiter Bryan. The crab and cheese dip was a great start. The fried shrimp, coconut shrimp and popcorn shrimp were all delicious. The green beans as a side are exceptional. If you enjoy soft shelled crab, these are the best fried ones I have ever tasted! The best part was that they were very kid friendly and have a great kid's menu. This is a great addition to the Marco Island restaurants. read more
