Service was good and the 2 for 1 is always a bonus. The food on the other hand was quite meh. I had the blackened snapper which was just salty and had no spice. The hot crab and cheese dip was okay, but there wasn't much crab. We also had the appetizer crab cake and it was good. The crab cake stole the show and is the reason for the two stars. The service was horrible. Our drinks were left empty but she did offer to fill them when we were ready to leave and waiting for our check. She spoke like she was on auto dial, not really asking a question, but like she had to stick to her script. With all the many places we could have chose in Naples, I'm sad we chose here. read more

This has to be the WORST SERVICE IN NAPLES. EVERY WHITE PATRIN seated received there food before us and we were seated at least 20-25 minutes before them. It's obvious it was RACE RELATED when the other guest also voiced their concern when our food came after theirs. We ordered a burger, Buffalo wings and grouper tacos. The manager "David" shrugged his shoulders and did little to assist. Every restaurant we've visited in Naples to include excursions were friendly. Pinchers is a favorite of mine - I've been coming for years. Management is always circulating and always checking on the guests - I like that. In fact, the waitstaff is generally Johnny-on-the-spot, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. First time visitor. It was a weekday and not too busy. We made it there in time for happy hour. I had the coconut shrimp. It was just okay. I expected more but I am from South Florida and we have several restaurant including chains that have outstanding seafood dishes. However, the drinks were strong and the service was good. Came here after a ride on the Naples Princess, awesome ride. The service at the restaurant was very fast and courteous. The food how ever was very disappointing. I had the shrimp cocktail, the shrimp was previously frozen and not thawed probably. It was soft and slimy. I also had the calamari, is was tasteless and tougher then a rubber ban. Pinchers has a nice view of the water where boats often pass by. When we sat down they placed a paper mat over the table to be sanitary during COVID-19. Our waitress was very nice and the inside of the restaurant is decorated like a crab shack. We ordered the Mahi and grouper sandwiches with french fries. It was a neat place overall. We used the waitlist on Yelp and our wait wasn't long at all. Open air type seating and very busy place. The waitress was wonderful (Melanie). I got a crab cake, fries and applesauce. The crab cake was wonderful. The fries were ok....most of mine were overly crispy to where they were kind of brittle. My husband got the grouper sandwich, fries and coleslaw. He said his sandwich was kind of fishy tasting and not his favorite, but not horrible. Our kids got spaghetti and cheeseburger and both ate for free which was a nice bonus. My husband and I did get the 2 for 1 margarita and that was delicious as well. Five of us had lunch on Saturday, February 11th. My husband and I shared the oysters. I had the crab and a salad, and he had the grouper sandwich. The food was excellent, the server was very accomodating, and the atmosphere was upbeat. The restaurant is on the water and has a fun beachy decoration with amusing signs throughout. The two-for-one drinks were a great hit. I highly recommend this restaurant for a fun, casual lunch. read more

The exceptional things about this place: the staff was overly accommodating and friendly, and it's on the water!! Now for the 1-star rating part: The seafood is disturbingly sub-par and not at the quality of its listed price. Skip the two-for-one margaritas; they don't have alcohol in them and the 60 cent happy hour is just a disguised scam. The menu design is horrific, very difficult to read, and just plain unsightly. Bottom line is: Just don't. If you have ever eaten seafood before and understand what it's supposed to taste and feel like, don't do Pincher's. I'm embarrassed that many tourists are lured here by the supreme views and happy hour. A disclaimer: this does not represent rich and beautiful Florida seafood. Location overlooking the inland waterway. Older establishment. Service is fine come early b/c they fill up fast during prime time. Food is good no complaints. I've had worst and better that's why the 3 star(FYI I've been all over the USA). After moving to Naples, coming from a beach town, we were more than excited to be close to Pinchers! We had seafood where we're are from in California, but Pinchers is exceptional. Two for one drinks is a huge perk too! The crab legs were amazing, the blue crab to die for! My brother in law had Chicken and boom boom sauce and my sister had Mahi Mahi. We were full to the brim, fat and happy! Our server, Drew, was on top of it. We made sure that we told the manager how awesome he was. People spend to much time complaining, that we felt it was important to let them know how great he was! This is our go to, for seafood, and an overall great dining experience. Full disclosure. I'm a fan of the Pinchers restaurants - all of them. I like the fact that they consistently present fresh, local seafood. I like the 2 for 1 happy hours. And most of all, I like the atmosphere of each of the stores and the fact that each one is unique and different from the next. This location, in Tin City, may be the most visually appealing of all of them. I love all of the fish decor, love the way the bar is positioned, and really love the river side view, especially during the shoulder months of season. This is what a crab shack should feel like. My go to items are as follows - crab and corn chowder (add some One pepper sauce to it), spiced garlic crab clusters, blackened grouper, crab cakes and stone crabs in season. She never returned for refills and was short in explaining our questions. The "Great" Grouper Sandwich is quite the misnomer. The fish was under-seasoned, the wheat bun was barely warm. The size of the fish you got was about 3/5ths the size of the bun. Coleslaw seemed old and had no flavor. NOT worth the price. Saltines: stale, limp, inedible. Beer: NO CRAFT? Love this place! They have reasonably priced food and an excellent happy hour. We ordered the Corn and Crab Chowder, Hot Crab and Cheese Dip, Pincher Claws and the Crab Eggrolls. WOW! The chowder was creamy and delicious, the cheese dip was packet with flavor and was every cheese-lovers dream, the pincher claws were sauteed in a garlic/olive oil sauce and was so so so so good... don't forget to dunk your bread in that sauce!
