The dip was very good, full of flavor and very cheesy. The only complain it that the chips were way to thin and not able to hod the cheese all that well without breaking. Touristy place but all things considering, a surprisingly pleasant time. We stopped by for a pre-dinner snack/happy hour. We had $1.50 oysters and clams (sets of 6) and 2 for 1 drinks (sangria). When we visited Naples, our hotel was across the street from Pinchers. We liked it so much the we went two nights in a row. The first night we all enjoyed the crab cakes. They were delicious! The dinners came with two sides. I made the mistake of ordering garlic bread as one of my sides. I recommend choosing something else. They had a special with two for one drinks. I ordered the margarita. It didn't take much to make my head spin... The second evening, we weren't as hungry, so we ordered soup. My husband had clam chowder and I had the corn and crab soup. Both were excellent. We also ordered the Pincher crab appetizer. It was soaked on butter and wine and topped with parmesan cheese. I recommend ordering appetizers if you want to sample many offerings. Due to Covid-19, we asked to be seated outside in the covered patio. I've been a loyal customer at Pinchers for years and have always enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere - especially at the bar, where my husband and I frequently dine. A few weeks ago, I brought friends from out of town to enjoy drinks and appetizers before a boat outing. Upon arrival, we were met by a hostess who was noticeably unfriendly. When I asked to sit outside rather than at the bar, she responded with hostility and appeared visibly irritated, when she was going to seat us she teared the paper in such an aggressive manner. This interaction made us feel unwelcome, so we chose to sit at the bar instead.Before leaving, I attempted to inform someone so that management could be made aware. The hostess in question was working the outside section, I unfortunately couldn't get her name but she had curly hair and light tan skin. Wouldn't recommend Pinchers in Tin City for folks who are looking for seafood in the area. Sure, that is what they offer but I don't think they do it well. I came to Naples for a birthday trip in late February. I didn't expect much given the covid pandemic but to my horror, Pinchers (and honestly most of Naples) seemed to be operating at nearly 100% capacity with little to no social distancing of guests or reinforcement of wearing masks. My boyfriend and I came for happy hour and enjoyed the 2 for 1 drinks until I saw the check. The draft beers are $7 each apparently. Honestly, that is no deal with such small mugs (likely to be 10-12oz compared to 16oz). Additionally the happy hour menu for seafood options, though typical, was lacking in flavor and freshness. We ordered half dozen raw oysters and peel N eat shrimp, along with chicken wings (for 99 cents each). I'm sad to report the chicken wings were the most edible in my opinion. The shrimp was completely overcooked and lacked in spice and seasoning. The oysters were mediocre. The service was alright, nothing too remarkable. I recall the server being hard to find at times though, like other reviews mention, he also seemed to be managing a lot of tables. I am glad the staff wore masks throughout our meal, though was really disheartened that so many other patrons did not observe this. I could see the staff sanitizing tables between guests but this did not occur every time which also terrified me. Looking through some of the reviews I see, I'm surprised people hold them in high regard. My experience here on a weekday night was upsetting. I appreciate that we were able to be sat outside and somewhat socially distant from other customers, but it seems to be all luck because had our neighbors had a party of 3 or 4 we certainly would've been much closer. I hope the management at Pinchers has taken into consideration more of the CDC regulations for restaurants because I certainly did not feel this way. I'd encourage folks to exercise caution. Though I can't speak to anything outside of the happy hour experience, I can't imagine better food would make up for the other grievances I've shared with cleanliness and safety. I will certainly not recommend Pinchers nor plan to visit again. read more

Pinchers won't disappoint you. It's one of the many seafood restaurants in Tin City and it's sitting right by the water. Couldn't ask for a better location within historic Naples City. Food. Quality is great for the price. Started with crab and cheese dip which was delicious. Then ordered the blue crabs with their own garlic, butter and their secret spices-not too garlicky with perfect spices. Wifey had slightly (yes you can request or customize the flavor) blackened grouper with yellow rice and green beans. Last but not the least....happy hour!Had their house margarita and it was just perfect for a 92 degree weather. By the way, Paula did an excellent job providing amazing service for first timers like us. You can still see the boats and the water (for the most part) from inside which adds to the ambiance of beach decor. Our server was nice and attentive and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. I love a Pinchers, and my family is working our way through all the Florida locations. Tin City is a cute little waterfront shopping and restaurant area in Naples. The Pinchers here has incredible service...really top notch, and the food is incredibly consistent, which is a relief. The place wasn't too crowded, and we got a table inside right by a window. However, the tables are a little close together and we did feel like we were right on top of the neighboring group. There is outdoor seating, but it was too hot for that...however, the A/C was not properly running and it was also really hot inside the restaurant, too. That's really the only thing that made our experience 4 stars instead of 5. We started with the Hot Cheese & Crab Dip (a favorite of ours) and each ordered an entrée during a lazy Wednesday afternoon. We watched boats go back and forth under the nearby bridge and then worked off lunch with some shopping in the Tin City boutiques.
