Veggie bowl with a side of maple sausage.
    Butters B.

Came on a Wednesday morning around 10 AM. Ordered the veggie bowl with a fried egg over medium and got a side of maple sausage. My daughter had the biscuit French toast and a cup of fruit. Service was good. Loved the log cabin and feel and food was delicious and homemade.

I can back with my mother in law to have a nice sit down breakfast together. This is both our second time coming here but this time together. We love this little place it's got a nice bakery along with a cozy cabin look inside. The service was amazing the young lady who took care of us was really sweet. This time I tried the Grizzly Bear breakfast love my bacon, the way the eggs were cooked and the gravy on the massive biscuit was delicious. My mother in law got an omelet and let's just say I think it'll be her dinner too. Definitely want to come back to try other eats 05/29/2025

The outside of the restaurant, so cute!

This is such a cute little restaurant in Tomball! I love their commitment to theme. They have so many little touches that really make this place feel like a cozy cabin. The parking situation isn't ideal, but don't let that discourage you from stopping in. We came by around 8:30 on a Sunday morning and were so sad to see that the restaurant wasn't busier. All of the staff was incredibly friendly. They greeted us with bright smiles when we came in and got us seated immediately. I couldn't decide between two different coffees and waited to order my own until I could try the iced vanilla latte that my husband ordered. It was so good that I was even more conflicted when our waiter asked what I would like to order. I told him that I was between that or their holiday peppermint. He recommended the peppermint as one of his favorites so that's what I chose. It did not disappoint!! It tasted like a muted version of a Ghirardelli peppermint bark square in a coffee. It was so good without being overly sweet, and it event had little pieces of peppermint in it. It was definitely one of the best holiday coffees I've ever had. I ordered the Southwest bowl. I asked to exclude the peppers that it comes with. When they brought our food, the runner let me know that they decided to put my salsa on the side since it had tiny cut up peppers in it and they weren't sure how severe it was. Then our waiter, Wyatt, came by to check that everything came out okay and he also let me know that he decided to put the salsa on the side in case my exclusion of peppers was due to an allergy. I thought that was so incredibly thoughtful and kind of them. They didn't inquire with me if it was an allergy, they just took it upon themselves to take that extra little step to ensure I'd be safe if it was. The coffee was great and so was the food! Can't wait to take my family when they come visit!

Biscuit Special (biscuit, egg, bacon, cheese)

Cute little eatery right off main strip. Have both indoor and outdoor seating. Couldn't beat their biscuit special (biscuit sandwich with egg, bacon, & cheese) and a coffee for 7.99. Their biscuits are pretty large and in charge. I saved some room to move from their eats to their sweets. Shared a slice of sweet potato maple cake topped with cream cheese frosting. It summed up all those wanted fall flavors, now if the weather would follow suit. Enjoyed all the simple details from throw pillows to the plaid lumber jack fabric napkins. Definitely swing by and grab some sweets to go if you lack time for the eats or Otto's rootbeer they sell in house.

Chicken and waffles, ordered a side of warm cinnamon apples.

Sugar fest today. Dessert was Texas sheet cake and homemade cheesecake. And that was on top of warm cinnamon apples that we ordered with the chicken and waffles and French toast biscuits. I would've preferred the chicken cooked crunchy, but maybe that's just my personal taste. In retrospect I wish I had ordered a more savory dish with eggs or something. Maybe we will come back some day and, if so, I can do that. Great service, clearly nice people.

Cute restaurant that we'll need to visit another 8...10...12 more times to taste everything we couldn't! Breakfast was DELICIOUS!! Our waitress was EXTREMELY patient with us asking questions during our first visit. Plenty of seating inside, and they have outside seating - perfect on a sunny day. HIGHLY recommend the waffle biscuits and regular biscuits! SO DELISH! Served warm, with butter, syrup and jams. We didn't get the gravy and biscuits...but saw others who did...DEFINITELY s repeat!

I lucked out by landing on this place for breakfast. Nestled, in Tomball - Pine Street is a hidden gem with good food and some neat looking decor. From a food perspective, there is a bit of a wilderness flair sprinkled through the menu. I elected to order the Tomball Stacker and I got my son a waffle and cheesy eggs. The stacker was the perfect build of tastiness. It had a biscuit, maple sausage, hash brown casserole, and over medium egg smothered in a scrumptious sausage gravy. It all played nice together. My son's waffle had the perfect balance of crisp and softness. He was able to dress his waffles with syrup, Nutella, and fruit. He eggs were full of gooey cheese which made him very happy - and that made me happy. I love this place and will be back for sure!

In my (extremely modest) opinion since growing up here, Tomball had been missing a really good breakfast joint. I've now been here twice in the last month, and I can finally say that this box has been checked. The menu has pretty good depth. The food has been fantastic. The hashbrown Casserole is magnificent. Every entree I've had has been good, and would order again. Even so, I keep wanting to try something new every time I come through. The service is consistently solid. It's a little slow, but that's to be expected in this setting. The food comes out hot, and fresh. The place is very clean, dining area, waiting room, and bathrooms included. There is street parking all around the area. There are bars and other shopping areas within walking distance. It's well situated near anything else you may want to do before or after. Give it a shot.

This place is excellent. The first thing I'll say is these are the biscuits are amazing. Best I ever had. Regular and jalapeno cheese. The food came out fast and fresh. We highly recommend this place. It's definitely a hidden gym. The staff and owner are very nice. best breakfast brunch place on the north side.

'The Crazy Cajun' is very good: boudin balls and over-easy eggs on cornbread, topped with Cajun hollandaise. (Note: the cornbread is pretty tall and can be a little dry, so I usually lop off the bottom half.) That was my go-to until a waiter recommended 'Shrimp & Grits Benedict' - shrimp, andouille sausage and over-easy eggs on fried grit patties with Cajun hollandaise. (Talk about a great way to get both grits AND potatoes!) The coffee is OK, portions ample, service excellent and attentive, and staff recommendations trustworthy. In fairness, I need to sample more of the menu as I'm usually tied between two favorite Benedicts. That said, no one I've brought has been disappointed with their choices.

However the service keeps declining and the attitude / customer service needs to be trained. There's been a change of ownership and staff/ hosts. We walked in for Saturday brunch and were greeted with disrespectful behavior. A young host lady and a man were bickering if they wanted to take our table or not. We were then handed over to another waiter to serve us. Very unpleasant first impression, if it weren't for how good the food is we definitely would not be back. The waiters did great however, but every time they seem to have a new hostess with a worser attitude

When a place has a rating of 4.9 stars with 70 reviews, it's somewhere I want to be. We visited the Saturday before Christmas and were told upon walking in that it was a unique day with table service and a special Christmas brunch menu. I was a bit bummed about that because I wanted access to the full menu after attempting to come here for weeks, but there were still some really interesting things available, so my bummedness quickly subsided. Unfortunately, the real downside of visiting on a day like this was that the wait time was really rough. We weren't sure exactly how long it was but we know that it was within a few minutes of an hour, give or take, from the time we ordered our food until it arrived. I don't want to be too critical of a super successful small business over something like that. I fully appreciate that they wanted to do something unique and probably bit off more than they could chew in the process. Fortunately, we were able to re-schedule an appointment we had for later in the day, so no harm no foul. Once we did receive the food, it was obvious why the ratings are so high. The quality of everything was amazing. I loved stealing most of the bacon off my son's plate, and of course, also enjoyed a large portion of his snowman pancake while he was busy playing on his ipad. But for my own meal, I ordered the Beef Tenderloin Gremolata and loved every bite of it. For what tasted like really high end beef, it was only $24 too, which seems impossible in 2025. I'm happy we finally got to check this place out and we'd love to come back again on non holiday weekend!

The drive thru intercom is not great. It's ok, I deal with it. We have worse issues in this world. So if I have to repeat myself a few times, I am fine with it. Today I was asked to repeat my self twice. After repeating myself twice, the lady exclaimed, "You don't have to yell at me." Of course I was taken aback by this response. When I drove around I asked the young lady at the window if she was who I was speaking to over @the intercom, she said no and asked why. Her voice sounding familiar, by the way. When I explained she looked around pretending to be perplexed, before asking me to hold as she closed the drive thru window. A few minutes later the owner appeared in the window greeting me with, "Did we make you mad today?" No hello, just this odd question. My response, "Why would I be mad, only dogs get mad?@" He then asks what happened. I explained. His response was, "Oh she didn't mean it like that." Well, I don't know how else she meant it. The intercom is shoddy, she could not hear me, I repeated my order twice at her request each time speaking a little louder and she says, "I don't need to yell at her." His response again, "She didn't mean it that way, she's one of my best employees and we are taking care of your coffee today." I told him I wasn't interested in freebies, I was interested in great customer service and an apology. He continued to push the free coffee toward my car window to appease me, I suppose@. I declined again. He then says, "Well you have a reward today, do you want to take advantage of it?" I declined a third time. I don't need anything free. I'm a loyal customer who tries to support local, family-owned businesses and this was the treatment I received. I will not be back. Keep your free coffee. Keep your rewards. Keep your excuses. Keep your bad behavior. I travelled half a mile to Starbucks where I received great service with a great smile. Do better Just Loce Coffee Cake Cypress, Texas.
