Amazing food! Even better service! I found this lil place on my Monday morning run around while working. I grabbed the almond butter toast as well as a cappuccino w/their season special snickerdoodle. A tad chilly this morning so the gave me a blanket and set the fire! Perfect morning cup of Joe and some wonderful breakfast. There is outside seating only and a drive thru. Small friendly staff that serves everything with a grateful smile! Very cute coffee spot! Highly recommend!
I saw this coffee shop on TikTok, so I visited today. It's a very small place, but they have a drive through, which is super convenient for grabbing a quick coffee. I ordered a birthday cake latte and was sadly disappointed. If it didn't have whipped cream and sprinkles, I would have had no idea what flavor I ordered. It was extremely watered down too. The employees were friendly, but I wouldn't visit again for the coffee.
My friend suggested we pick up lunch from here and it was the perfect choice for an easy picnic in the park. The avocado stuffed with smoked salmon is my fave. That plus the caprese toast I got was just enough to make me full but not stuffed. As someone who is hypersensitive to caffeine, I'm happy to discover a place with yummy caffeine-free options! I got the Golden Maple Latte which was one of the best turmeric drinks I've tried, but I preferred the sweetness of my friend's Beet Root Latte--and how cute and pink! The staff was friendly and great about answering our questions/checking on ingredients for allergens, and we waited less than 10 minutes for our order. They do have some nice, covered picnic tables outside for dining on-site. Only suggestion is it'd be great to have a small side dish of fresh fruit on the menu!
Stumbled upon this little local gem. 10/10! The avocado toast was so delicious, especially if you love everything but the bagel seasoning! YUM! My husband also loved his egg and sausage sandwich. All ingredients were fresh and service was friendly and quick. Lots of options on the menu! The drive thru concept is also great, because if you're in the mood for a quick healthy bite, it's perfect for that! They also have a cute little outdoor area for sitting if you prefer to eat there. All around great place and can't wait to come back.
Lived in st Pete for 6 years now - best coffee hands down !! Love the vibe of this place and the food is fresh and a lot is homemade ! So happy I found this place. (Please never get rid of the cake batter iced latte)
Wow! The food here is amazing. I appreciate that there are wellness lattes that don't have coffee. The menu items are so creative! You can get so many unique toasts and even a stuffed avocado. The staff was great at answering questions and managing accomodations. There isn't a traditional dining area. There is a small bit of seating in the front of the building. The food is packaged well, so great to grab and go have a picnic in one of the local parks.
I got the med toast and an iced snickerdoodle latte. The toast was so fresh and flavorful. It could not have been better. The lattes are always great! I've tried a few different ones. Some are very unique too. I loved it and will absolutely be back regularly.
What an amazing and adorable coffee shop with a killer kitchen!!! Wow!!!! Okay, so Pineapple Espresso has been on my list for ages but I just hadn't gotten around to going. It was a beautiful Sunday morning, the chilliest so far this year, so it felt like the perfect opportunity to grab snacks in the drive thru and head to Flora Wylie Park. The seasonal options spoke to me, so I ordered the maple lavender butterfly peaflower matcha concoction and the brussels & bacon toast. Both were 5/5, hands down! The matcha was sweet but not too sweet to finish and the toast was PERFECT, NO NOTES. Local bread, local micro greens, nice layer of ricotta with delicious toppings. I truly could not get enough of this thing and I'll need to go back for another soon. The folks who brought out my items were so friendly, and seemed to genuinely enjoy what they were doing. It put me in such a good mood on my solo self care morning!
3 words: Maple. Lavender. Matcha!!! Such a cute little spot that was once a farm store. The service is always friendly and personable. Laurene's definitely got it going on around here. The stuffed avocados are to die for, the smoked salmon is fresh and the vibes are incredible
This used to be my favorite coffee shop until they took away the Cardamom Rose latte. I was very upset finding out it's gone. I decided to try the Maple Ginger Matcha Latte and it doesn't taste like maple or ginger. It just tastes like a sugary drink. Very disappointed. I don't think I will be coming back here unless they readd the cardamom rose back to the menu.
This might be one of the most delightful businesses I have ever been to! Firstly it's pink. I could probably end the review there. Everything about this process was awesome! It is a completely personalized and service focused drive thru. Pulling up behind the building you will be greeted by a human, not a voice box. The gal was friendly, helpful, answered all the questions and indulged me in some banter. I found myself on an early morning errand in St. Pete. Yelp guided me to a local coffee house where there was a lineup of cars waiting for coffee. That was a good sign. Due to Covid there is only drive-through service. I ordered a Maple Ginger Latte. The latte was excellent. I halfway expected the typical seasonal, wimpy, & weak flavored ginger. The ginger flavor was anything but wimpy. It was serious ginger flavor, which is what I love. I was drinking ginger snaps, lol. So 5-stars for a well-made latte. read more
Nothing makes me happier than a safe drive thru during the pandemic. This cute little shop has set themselves up well to weather it, packaging coffee and food in solid containers. The toasts are delicious, fair prices and really friendly service. Happy to support local! read more

Not long ago I stumbled upon this place. I was in love with it right away. I told everyone I knew about it. The service was great. The food was delicious. The ease of the drive-thru was just what I needed with small children in tow. This place is a cashless business. Each customer they charge an automatic 15% gratuity. Sometimes they ask if the gratuity is ok and sometimes they don't. You prepay before they bring you the food and before you eat it. Charging Gratuity ahead of time is a bit presumptuous in my opinion. Months after I started going here, I started asking for my receipts. I did this because according to my credit card statements, the charge was different each time. Even though my order was the same. Unbeknownst to me, I'd been charged way above the 15%. Sometimes it was 23 %, other times it was 25%. It was whatever amount they decided on. Did I mention this place is drive-thru only? I had many discussions with the owners and they promised they would fix the problem. She comped a meal or 2 of mine for the extra money I spent, but it was not near the amount I had spent when the "extra gratuity" was added on to each order. I can only imagine how much extra gratuity I paid before I previously started asking for the receipt. I use to go there 5 days a week. Do the math. Today was the very last day I will give Pineapple Espresso my business. They overcharged me again. They did not fix the problem, but continue to blame it on the new help or their new credit card machines. I gave them multiple times to get there sh*t together and they didn't. So, if you are thinking of visiting this place or maybe you already do, I highly suggest you have them print out your receipts. And pay attention to any extra charges. Chances are really good your paying an extra 23% or more gratuity on your orders- at a drive thru. read more

I have enough concerns about micro plastics in the foods we eat, but today one of my food fears came to life. I love crunchiness as much as the next person, I just prefer it not be the sausage as part of my fennel sausage and egg sandwich. Please do better. read more

Wife and I both got Cold Brews with oat milk (cardamom syrup for her) and they were perfect and smooth. To eat I got the Turkey Salad sandwich (add bacon) and it was "amazing"!!! Would go again in a heartbeat for a morning coffee and sandwich... plus the service was quick and friendly. read more

Omg. Eat here. You won't sad. The drive-thru method is brilliant. We ordered and pulled up to wait for our food. I ordered gluten-free Everything Toast - gluten-free toast, avocado, everything sprinkles, soft boiled egg and micro greens. It was PERFECT! We also got black coffee. They roast all their own coffee beans. So good. Lots of gluten-free and dairy-free options. No parking needed at a drive-thru. read more

Was so excited to try this place and it did not disappoint. Staff was sweet and happily went through menu items with me. I got the Bruschetta Toast, which was a summer special. It tasted perfect! I also got a vegan chocolate chip cookie. Both were delicious. Brought my dog in the drive thru and they gave him some bacon as a treat, he loved it! read more

These guy's are killin it. I needed an SOS meal: when it's been ~24hrs since you've last ate and need something healthy, quick and easy. The drive thru is super efficient, especially when I'm working from home - don't really need to be seen quite yet - and want to bring my dog with me in the backseat. Everything toast + orange/beet juice. Amazing. read more

10 out of 10! I wish I had taken a better photo but I barely paused long enough to take this one. This place is ah-maze-zing. I've had their salmon toast and it's chef's kiss. I had their croissant as well. The people who work there give good recommendations so if you can't decide, just ask. The coffee is good but the food is better. Def recommend read more
Wow! What a great experience! I have heard by so many that I needed to check out this spot & it did not disappoint! Service with a smile! Great customer service and a nice little sample of a cinnamon poptart that my son begged for MORE MAMA MORE! Haha The whole concept is genius & the menu fits the drive thru but not fast food idea. They have the menu set up so the wait won't be terrible for the on the go people in the early morning. I took my 3yr old after his appt downtown and so by 930 it was smooth sailing. The gal told me what she liked and some suggestions. I went with the parfait, everything everything toast, poptart of the day, iced sugar free cold brew with coconut milk plus a honest juice for the tot. AHHHHHHMAZING! I wanted to shovel it in my mouth but at the same time take my time and savor it! Ha The lemon chia seed granola blueberry parfait was the most incredible flavor I have had! It was like a lemon meringue pie in my mouth but with crunch and blueberries! Avocado toast with everything seasoning, hard boiled easy egg? Whatever that is called? Haha with some light greens! My mouth just salivated with every bite lol Amazing flavor with the cold brew and my son let me have a small piece of that amazing fresh poptart! I look forward to eating more things off this menu! I'm so happy this little place opened up in my neighborhood! The food and coffee has been nothing but fantastic especially their avocado toast *drool*. Only reason why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is for some advice... in that covered empty area there tends to just be two high top tables and no chairs. With this being located near so many homes, I feel you would have way more people walking over to grab some coffee and a bite to eat in the morning if you had maybe a couple more tables (high top or low) with chairs. We had to drag the table over to the short wall and use the wall as seating to eat there. We would walk our dogs over and have breakfast there all the time on our days off if that were an option and I'm sure plenty of others would as well. There was even another couple dealing with the same inconvenience as us while we were there. Other than that customer service and the overall experience is great! I honestly had no idea what to expect from this tiny place..but that's half the fun, right? No awkward intercoms or reaching up to a window, actual people walking to your car! As you pull up someone will come right to your window and supply a menu (if needed) to peruse while everyone in line is being taken care of. Never had a drive thru experience like this.. I placed my order for a cappuccino and an everything toast. While I waited I enjoyed the tunes coming from the main building and noticed some infused water that I could have requested if my wait was longer than it was. Before I knew it my coffee was hand delivered. By then, the two cars in front of me moved forward and everyone easily followed suit.. The indoor kitchen was buzzing with activity and shortly thereafter my toast was delivered. As this is a drive thru only spot, I took off to enjoy my toast elsewhere. The cappuccino- they use a custom Guatemalan house roast which is neither robust or too bright, but right in the middle. I feel this would be completely lost in a latte and was expecting a bit more punch in a cappuccino- solid and pleasant but next time I'll order this with an extra shot ($1). The avo toast was the standout ($8)- the Gulf coast sourdough is perfect..crunchy, chewy, a bit sour but in the best way. It's a thin slice, I would love a little thicker piece of bread for the toast but primarily because it is sooo good. Can't wait to try their other toasts, they seem so inventive! read more

Another gem found by accident - we drove by the night before saw the sign Coffee & Drive through my best friend knew I was coming back and she told no lies. So happy we did. Ok the great stuff the deco outside is super cute. Pull up the nicest most welcoming human pops out asked "have you been here before" boom gives us paper menus that we keep because they are 100% touch less! It's covid an amazing plus. Reads off the specials sees fudge (my dog) and immediately becomes his best friend by offering him (she asked me first) a huge piece of delicious bacon. Well that's just the start - the coffee delicious, the maple latte amazing, chocolate croissant honestly how did they make it taste like chocolate jam! Bacon egg & cheese pressed on the most amazing croissant and then to end I got a gingerbread person! That's what she called them and welp they now have a loyal lifetime customer. Go here for the service for the delicious pastries for the exceptional coffee for the drive they experience for the touch less transaction honestly just go! Note they use local everything so they are supporting their community on top of everything else! read more

YUM! I stumbled across this place after making a wrong turn--now I go out of my way to go back! We've made our way through a lot of the menu and have loved it all. Everything is fresh, packaged well (drive-through/take out only), and flavorful. Pineapple Espresso serves the perfect blend of feel good, tasty, healthy food. The lavender latte and golden maple latte are both delicious; I just tried the mocha maca matcha latte today and it's now my favorite. The smoked salmon and citrus-beet avocado toast are great. Try them with a 6-minute egg or prosciutto! To top it all off, the people working there are so warm and welcoming, they happily share more information about items on their menu and the benefits of different ingredients, and they just make the whole experience enjoyable! Pineapple Espresso has to be one of my favorite coffee shops ever! I love driving up to their little pink building - makes me smile every time. They have also done a great job responding to COVID by creating a drive through ordering system where you receive your items without leaving your car. The drinks and food here have always been excellent. They have various coffee and tea options. I am a fan of their coffee lattes make with oat milk (other milk alternatives are available too), but I am an even bigger fan of their Matcha lemonade. The sweetness of the lemonade pairs nicely with the earthness of the matcha - Plus I think it's a really cool drink to look at. On the food side of things, they offer several types of pastries, salads and toasts. I am always a sucker for a good toast and I love all of the flavor combos that they have. They use a local sourdough bread for the toasts, some with interesting additions such as tumeric or matcha. The everything toast is my favorite. It comes with a layer of mashed avocado topped with "everything spice" which includes garlic, onion and sesame seeds, a perfectly cooked soft boiled egg and micro greens. This is honestly the item that keeps me coming back! read more

I can't get enough of this place. Everything I've had is unique and freshly made. The quality is always amazing. The people who own/run it are so nice!!!! They are constantly coming up with new fun stuff. Today I had a pumpkin spice latte however she personally makes the pumpkin flavoring from pumpkin purée, NO FAKE SYRUP! The prices are high but right on target for the food they are producing, I'll continue to be a happy regular. read more

Great way to start your morning. Our favorite is the everything avocado toast. The coffee (although we didn't order today) is also excellent, they do their own roasting. They sit on a well manicured and tastefully decorated plot with a nice little covered patio. During the pandemic only the drive thru is open, and the staff has taken every measure to reduce contact including not touching the credit card. Super friendly staff with wonderful service, owned by 2 local women serving great quality products, it is a must try! read more
