Stopped in to check it out as it replaced an Italian restaurant. Darker inside with 2/3 seating for restaurant and 1/3 bar top and high top tables plus an additional fee seats outdoors. Roll up window to bring the indoors to the outside. Large menu of various treats from salads to pasta to deep fried ribs. Mixed drink menu in the bar top. Four draft beers and several cans in the cooler. Clean and staff were not over the top friendly but nice. Restroom was clean. We will likely be back for food. The pasta the man beside me ordered was enough for two people as was her salad. read more

This place is becoming quite popular and for good reason. Third time here, this time for lunch. First time ordering pasta and it was a delight. Portions are substantial, I've always taken some food home. Service was friendly and attentive, thanks Lauren. The deep fried ribs are delicious and the triple tail fish is really tasty. The food quality here was great and the portions were good. We had the blackened grouper and pineapple salmon. Both fish dishes were cooked perfectly, and the rice and vegetables were tender and delicious. The temperature difference between the dining room and bar was too much. The shutters are open so people can sit on the outside and look in-but no one was. Too hot outside, and having them open made it 20 degrees hotter in the bar. Maybe have a sign outside that when/if you sit there the shutter will be opened. Otherwise I would suggest that on hot days they close the shutters on the outside wall of the bar. read more

This is our second time visiting this establishment. The first time was not good, with mediocre food and very slow service. But, places can have bad days, and many people have had a good experience so we decided to give it another chance. It was dinner time and the restaurant was about 3/4 full. The waitress was very busy. The owner said they were short staffed. The waitress did the best she could, but the kitchen took forever to get the food out. Meals were OK. Hamburger was ordered "medium" but came out very well done and heavily charred on one side. It will not get a third chance. read more

A terrific neighborhood restaurant that serves great food. The lightly breaded shrimp was pipping hot and more than enough with excellent pineapple cole slaw. First time we went there was issues, but nothing that would prevent us from returning. And that caramel chicken salad is the bomb. The rest we could take or leave. Decided to go today for lunch with our granddaughter, she ordered the chicken finger platter and she enjoyed it. My husband wanted the ribs but after putting in the order she came back and said they ran out last night. Not for anything, but shouldn't that be told to waitstaff before service. Anyway, he ordered a burger. Bacon, cheddar NO TOMATO., i ordered the caramel chicken salad that i love. Honey mustard on the side. And then i ordered a chicken wrap to go. Grilled chicken, cheddar, lettuce, tomato,& Mayo ( ranch in the side) Didn't bring out the honey mustard for my salad, burger had tomato, wrap had no cheese. We ate at Pineapple Jacks, cozy and relaxed atmosphere, great menu and prices, and our server was friendly and personable(Michele). Blackened New Orleans style shrimp on pasta and a very large tropical salad, a full glass of sangria, and 2 Stella Artois. My friends ate there and were raving about it so I went with them on New Year's Eve. It was nice that you could order off the normal menu and they didn't gouge you with some fixed price menu. The ahi tuna appetizer was very good, and I had the parmesan-crusted salmon, which was amazing and I am VERY picky about my salmon! My friend had the pork chops which I felt was a bit overcooked and thin but I like thick pork chops. The flavor was good though. The only other thing I would suggest is to turn down the lighting. IUt was too bright and didn't make for good ambiance. Not a deal breaker though. We will be back! read more

The food was yummy but it is not a vegetarian friendly menu. I ended up just getting Mac and cheese since that was really my only option.. I was with family but if it had just been me I would've left. You all should really update your menu & remove that you all have the beyond meat option from the online & handheld menu if you're not going to be serving it... I was really looking forward to it and was very let down.. however, the Pain killer drink I got was delicious and the waitress was relatively friendly. I won't be coming back unless you add the beyond burger back to the menu. read more
