We stopped for a quick sweet treat after a day at the beach. We bought a guava and cheese pastelito and grabbed pineapple cake and tres leches cheesecake to take with us to go. They were all great!

The cutest gem!! Come try a homemade pastry at this place. It won't disappoint. The selection of desserts is endless. I'd go back any day.

Key Largo Pinecrest Bakery is a good place to pop in for delicious Cuban savories and sweets -- if you have time to wait. They need some more employees! Servers were very sweet, but it took a loooooooong time to get a few chicken croquettes and gauva pastatillos. Very delicious, nice plus that they have a drive thru, but it's definitely not a quick stop.

Food is excellent. Everything on menu was explained to us very patiently & recommendations spot on!! Cafe con leche is amazing! Staff friendly warm and inviting. Great way to start our day!

Very sweet and welcoming ladies. Was a last minute thing and definitely glad we came in. Colda was delicious and so many amazing desserts the make your mouth water. Small inside dining area but plenty room outside. And can't go wrong with great Latin music in the background. Great place to find a salty or sweet snack! Yummy

The menu is large. Large enough where anyone will find something to enjoy from there. The staff is friendly but get there before any lunch hour rush crowd because the line can get long. Worth the stop!

I thought this place was terrific. It's a Cuban bakery with outstanding coffee and pastries. Their English isn't the greatest but neither is my Spanish so we made it work. Your coffee might be served in tiny drinking vessel. Relax. This isn't Starbucks. There's a lot of caffeine in this stuff, plus it's delicious. Highly recommended for authentic Cuban coffee and baked goods.

Great place for a good cup of coffee and authentic Cuban food. I also highly recommend getting a freshly squeezed orange juice!

Best orange juice I've ever had. Also had the monte Cristo and some eclairs. The home fries were really good as well

My husband ordered the ham, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich, and it was absolutely amazing. We split it but the first thing we noticed it was huge. The sandwich was served on Cuban bread that they bake fresh themselves, and it was some of the best bread I've ever had; light, flaky, perfectly golden brown, and incredibly fresh. Every ingredient tasted fresh and homemade, including real eggs cooked to order, not the processed "fake" eggs you find in so many places. Be sure to save room for one of their homemade pastries. Like the bread, everything is baked in-house, and you can taste the care that goes into every bite. The coffee was equally impressive; rich, smooth, and full of flavor. It paired perfectly with breakfast and kept me coming back for more. What really sets LJ's Café apart, though, is the atmosphere. This is a true mom-and-pop establishment where family and friends work together. From the moment you walk into the small storefront, you're welcomed like family. The service is warm, genuine, and makes you feel right at home. And here's an added bonus for Florida travelers: the air conditioning is fantastic! After visiting several places in Marathon, we definitely appreciated being able to enjoy our meal in a cool, comfortable environment. I can't rave enough about this wonderful spot. If you're passing through Marathon, make sure your schedule allows for breakfast or lunch because those are the only hours they're open. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
