He also stopped replying back to my text messages also. Finally pick up the truck a week after I was originally told it would be ready. The next day I drive to work and the brakes are making noise still. John promised me he would have the brake noise that we heard on the test drive taken care of. I text John about it and got no response. I figured I would get it taken care of when I come back to get the radio button and center console lid replaced. I was told they would call me back when the parts come in to make an appointment. This took place in late November. I called the Dealership to find out what is going on in mid February. The sales manager apologized and transferred me over to the Service Department. The manager told me there was no record of parts being ordered. I asked him, "So John lied to me then" he said "yes". A different manager figured out where it was in the system and got the parts ordered. The parts get there. I drive up there to pick up the parts. The Parts counter employee is having a hard time finding my parts. I called the number I last spoke to the assistant manager Phillip. The service person I talked to told me the part department will handle my problem. After I told him someone was holding onto the parts for me. The parts counter employee find my radio button but not the center console lid. I left empty handed and started my 45 minute drive back to Fayetteville. I called to speak to a manager thinking when they get it figured out then they could mail it to me. I spoke to Phillip. He sounded upset because no body told him I was there and said my parts were next to his desk. I told him the radio the radio button was brought to me but didn't see the center console. I asked if the parts can be mailed to me. He asked if I was going to pay for the shipping. After everything I've had to deal with I can't believe he said that. He told me he would talk to the Parts manager about what to do. I regret paying cash for a vehicle from this Dealership. I don't understand why I deserve to be treated this way. I unfortunately have been going to this dealership since I first moved here in May 2002. And have several Toyotas. And unfortunately, throughout the years I have seen this Toyota dealership screws not only myself ( military) but elders out of thousands of dollars. Moore country is known to be a military and retirement community. And this photo is another example of the unprofessional, childish, monopoly behavior At this dealership. I was in there to get a part for my vehicle and Sergio chaparro Gave me a quote and printed it out, but he decided to blur out the part number and the description. As if we can't do a google search and find the part number and description. And a part that he quoted me is a piece of plastic that is anywhere between $60-$130 at other dealerships not $300 and then have to buy them as a pair totaling $600 for this piece of plastic. This is not Colonel Sanders, 11 herbs and spices recipe or Coca-Cola secret formula. It's a part number that is public information. Pinehurst Toyota is behaving like a monopoly, (not the game). There have been times where I would purposely remove the spare tire from my car and put it in the garage, Then I would ask for them to put air in the spare tire and When it came time to check out, they would inform me that they did put air in the spare tire and I would ask " how did you put air in the spare tire when it does not have one"? So I never know if my oil is truly changed or if the service was done on my car. This should not happen to anyone especially to military or elders. Bob and Sarah were wonderful to work with as I selected my new RAV4 Limited. Bob was very professional and kind as he explained all the features of the RAV4. Mind you, I am a 68 year old woman who purchased my Camry 17 years ago, way before all the technological advances, so there was much to explain! Bob was extremely patient as he walked me through the entire process of purchasing a car including helping me with the insurance transfer. His pleasant demeanor was very lovely and refreshing. Sarah handled the business part of the purchase and she was such a delight! So, this review is based on my experience with their Used Car Sales and their lack of professional communication. They had just received a Ram 1500 Rebel that I was very interested in. The first salesperson I was placed in touch with (can't remember his name) was not doing his job so, the Sales Manager, Hilary, put me in contact with Nate. I test drove the vehicle and they were initially super responsive in getting the vehicle back from Leith Ram / Dodge for warranty work needing to be conducted, and this is where it goes downhill. After being told that they would have it back the following week, which I don't mind, it took me numerous attempts at contacting Nate to provide updates. Finally, after having given them a $1,000 deposit to hold the vehicle, and Hilary stating he would call me himself the following day, which he never did (I contacted both him and Nate at 7pm for follow-up), I informed them that I'd be canceling my continued interest in doing business with their company. The expectation would be something like, '...Ken, no update as of today, we will provide another update on Friday unless we hear something sooner.' And yet, it was me constantly pinging them to see where we were on this deal. Take your business elsewhere...I found another dealer in NC who has exceeded all expectations. I take my Hyundai to get serviced here. Every time I go, Hayden somehow sees me there and is always welcoming me just like most of the employees. Getting the vehicles serviced does take a little longer than expected but it is a nice and clean building to get some work done or relax. read more

I do NOT recommend based on my experiences with them. DISHONEST- told me that I needed a $1200.00 repair but when I got a second opinion from another certified Toyota technician the repair was not needed at all. On another occasion was told I needed engine air filter and cabin air filter but I had just changed both filters myself the day before! Always trying to UPSELL on every visit. I have other negative experiences as well. I called Southeast Toyota to report them and I got no response. BEWARE and ask others about their experiences. read more

I bought a car here about one year ago and it was the worst car buying experience ever. The sales associate was the typical slimly car salesman, but this was worsened by the fact that he said the car I was looking at would be "a great choice for a drunk driver" because of the safety features it offers. I should have walked out of the door that moment. I came back a few days later to purchase the car. The price of the car on the website had been reduced. They would not honor that price due to the value on my trade-in car. Finally when it came time to move to the finance office to complete the paperwork, the finance guy also had snarky and uncalled for comments when I insisted I wanted to use my bank for the auto loan not their in house team. After a grueling process I was finally out the door, keys in hand. A few days later, on a Saturday morning, I got a phone call from the finance guy letting me know that he forgot to get photo copies of my ID and that he needed me to come in that day so he could "get his manager off his back" for the mistake. I was out of town (driving), and said I would get it to him by the afternoon. He said that wasn't good enough because he wanted to leave for the day and his manager was telling him he needed to complete this first. I eventually pulled over to send a picture of my ID to get him off the phone. A few days after that, I received a phone call from my bank that the dealership did not write out the amount of the car correctly on their paperwork. Now, here we are a year later, and I tried to renew the registration for the car, and the DMV let me know they notified the dealership in OCTOBER of missing paperwork for me to complete the registration and the dealership is not responding. read more

Went in for a tuneup, left with a blown motor. They said they heard knocking went I came in. I heard nothing but yet they continued to change the spark plugs. Not to mention i tipped $50. Last year they told my I needed a new pulley system bc of a squealing noise. Paid $800 and it was the water pump. Misdiagnosed it. Not to mention they lose my tire stem caps every time. Do NOT service your here at all. The mechanic here tried to screw me over trying to get me to replace my Cadillac converter stating it would cost close to 5k based solely on a code that popped up. When asked questions if they checked anything else they said no. They relied only on a code. Got a second opinion with a real mechanic. There were no code issues in my car. Only the filter needed to be changed. Which was only a $50 fix. These people are crooks and frauds. Would not recommend coming here at all. Additionally, they unscrewed my oil filter which had been replaced weeks ago and was completely tight. After a visit with them the filter was completely lose. They just want your money go to an actual mechanic. If I could give it zero stars I would. I also made a formal complaint to the company as well read more

He got an attitude with me very early on and attempted to belittle me. He also treated his younger co-worker very poorly. If you plan on buying a car, go somewhere else where they will treat you like a person no matter your age or gender. I feel bad for the young man that has to work with Robbie every day. Service was quick and responsive. They even brought us coffee and donuts . That's servitude. We enjoyed working with them and we love our new car. Prices are comparable to other places - although we were able to get 3500.00 off of the car and more in rebates. Warranty on vehicles - loaded warranties. Please go by snd check them out!!!! They listed a Toyota Camry for $12,200 with 102,000 miles on it on Friday. The vehicle had a great car fax service report. The dealer had been servicing it for years. I requested to see car and test drive. I was told it was going to the service department on Monday. I called on Monday and was told the car was in poor condition and did not meet their standards for sale. The dealer 10 mins later then said oh the car sold on Saturday. This seems like an attempted bait and switch. This is the second Toyota dealer I have dealt with that seems to be dishonest to me. read more

PLEASE READ THIS FIRST IF YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT UTILIZING THIS DEALERSHIPS RENTAL VEHICLE DEPARTMENT!!! To start off, the gentleman (Jeff) that I believe runs this department or is the manager, is very unprofessional, not trustworthy, and is racist. I'll address the racism part first. So while I was in line to be next for my rental, there was an African American couple in the office before me. I couldn't hear much of the discussion due to the door being shut, but I do know the couple left out of the office and I clearly heard Jeff state 'This is why I don't rent to their kind" after the couple had walked away. Another employee heard Jeff say it, and laughed, and kept walking to the service garage. I am caucasian, and it is clearest day what Jeff meant when he made that comment. It rolled out of his mouth so intentionally that I know other similar things have been said by him. So now its my turn to go into the office, and the first thing he says to me after I ask him how he is doing is "Busy dealing with people with lack of common sense, that'll probably wreck or smoke marijuana in the car anyways" Which I thought was very odd for him to say that to me, when he could have just gave a very generic greeting back, and proceeded to do our business. I had called and got a price about an hour before I came in, and when I arrived, the price ended up being way higher than originally quoted. When I asked him about it, he stated "prices fluctuate constantly, and you're more than welcome to go check Enterprise who never has cars". I was already there and needed a rental quickly, so I didn't want to leave. After receiving the vehicle and doing the inspection, the vehicle wasn't cleaned at all. So I asked him about that and he stated "I'm the only one running this department, and don't have time to hand clean every one of my vehicles". After signing for the vehicle he begins to tell me about some kind of business that he owns if I knew anyone that needed his services. Which I thought was very unprofessional to promote your personal business while working on Toyota's time. Especially since I never asked about anything like that. On my trip with the vehicle, it had a weird vibration at highway speeds.. So I called him about it, and he stated to me "just drive it". Which whenever I've rented from other car rental agencies before. If you have an issue with the vehicle, they will fix it, or swap the vehicle. But yet Jeff told me to just drive it, which felt very un safe. I cut my trip short just to I could get out of the vehicle before it had further issues, and I was left stuck. I would never do business at this dealership, or with Jeff again! I also highly recommend if you're looking to rent a vehicle that you take the time to check other agencies. Enterprise was cheaper than Toyota, and they would have had me in and out in no time. Please take your money elsewhere! read more

I love working with Brandon but this review pertains to Ryan as Brandon wasn't available the day I went in. Now, I've never dealt with Ryan before but boy let me tell you. He is a salesman that you want on your side. He will get you what you want, he's fair, tells you the reality of things and won't play around. Now we all know it's a business so negotiation has to happen but Ryan exceded my expectations. First time visiting this facility and turned in my vehicle for a recall. That's it. When I picked it up there had been an unsecured part under my vehicle that was shredded on my way home. I brought my car back the next day and the part that was unsecured was ordered. Brought in my vehicle a third time, the part was incorrect. Brought my car in a 4th time and the part didn't come in so had to wait another day. In total, it took 10 days to fix a part that this dealership broke, that had nothing to do with the original visit. Not once was I given an apology, offered a courtesy vehicle, etc. I had to ask after the third day my vehicle was getting "worked on" for a loaner car, and was told my vehicle would also be detailed since it was so inconvenient. My car was never detailed and numerous attempts to contact the service manager failed as the phone number just rings and rings. I have never had a worse experience with my vehicle and I will gladly drive to another county to avoid this train wreck of a business. read more

We purchased a vehicle on Saturday and 2 hours later when we got home, it would not start. It starting puttering and the engine light came on. Oil was leaking onto our driveway. We immediately called the salesman at the dealership and he said there was nothing he could do. He said we bought the warranty to use it. We took it in the next day to a Jeep dealership ( we bought a Jeep Wrangler) . When they called us to tell us what all was wrong with it, they said the warranty we had just bought did not go into affect for 30 days! We are out of a lot of money and have a shit vehicle. Pinehurst Toyota picked it up and has had it eversince. I was never offered a loner and when I called I was always transferred to a voice-mail. I spoke to Cathleen Sullivan who asked to buy my truck almost on the spot. I told her I would call her later and I did. She said "Whoa it must be your lucky day the manager said $18,000 cash " Yes she used the money bag in her text to me. I waited 2 months and 800 miles on my truck as I was new to the area, not sure if I needed a full sized truck. I went in today to see Cathleen and her manager and they looked at my truck Again but this time offer me $15,300 for it. I asked why so low and show the manager the text from Cathleen? His answer was "If you wanted to buy a vehicle we can give you more for your truck." I told him to hand me back my keys and we are done doing business together forever. Don't go here! Bait and switch to get me in the door and try to up sell me. No morals or ethics at this dealership just about selling their inventory on the lot. Called Pinehurst Toyota and they advised nobody could come pick us up because shuttle service had stopped at 3:00 PM and no other solutions available. Wow! Turns out tow truck jumped us so we drove over to Pinehurst Toyota and asked if they could install the $118.00 battery I have gotten several coupons for in the mail. So frantically trying to figure out how I was going to get them off, I called Pinehurst Toyota where Mark from service said to bring it in the next day and he would take care of it for me. In June of 2017 my wife bought a used 2008 FJ Cruiser, that turned out to have serious rust issues that the staff at Pinehurst Toyota knew about before selling it to her. After she bought it home and I checked it out I went back to the dealership in disgust and spoke with the then general manager, who assured me that the warranty my wife paid $2000 dollars extra for would cover any issues since they sold it to her in that condition. Well low and behold an issue has arisen and the service manager refuses to even stand by a $2000 warranty, because they've changed general managers 3 times since then. I have used Pinehurst Toyota off and on for years, they are convenient but expensive, and somewhat untrustworthy. They over charge for service (hooking up diagnostics for no reason at $99 a shot) and find ways to get you to buy stuff more frequently than needed (such as on the state inspection). It's not a great experience when you don't feel you can trust your mechanic to be fair and honest. read more

Do not bother to make an appointment for anything. Last week I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation before a long trip to Texas this week. I arrived at 1030; the appointed time. At 1115 am my SUV was still sitting in the parking lot. I retrieved my keys and left. The service advisor indicated the "appointments" take 1 hour and 15 minutes. That gives me concern that the oil change, tire rotation and "thorough" inspection would be hurried since my SUV had already sat for 45 minutes. So...it is apparent to me that while an appointment may make the customer feel like they have a reserved time, but it is obvious that the Service Department does not honor appointments. It is as if you dropped in with no appointment and just get in line. I really don't know why they call, text, write me frequently to get my SUV serviced in their dealership. I have noted service advisors change frequently so I sense a problem with employee retention at this dealership. read more

But when I got there it took way too much time to try to find my online ticket even though I printed it and had it with me. They apparently couldn't look it up that way. I had to tell them everything that I wanted them to do verbally anyway. Why have an online option when it does not work. And I bought my car there and they charged me a lame dealer fee. Internet Sales side is the only one I can say that is worth talking with. Once you talk with a sales team member and sales manager good luck. Once we arrived and looked at the vehicle first thing the quoted price/sticker price and internet price which where all the same is not correct. The actual price is several thousand dollars higher due to demand and chip shortage. But due to some incentives they would see what they can do. Internet sales agent steps in MSRP/Sticker price would be honored. So on to trade in, 03 Toyota Sienna XLE, advised them of the issue, it does have a check engine light. #1 Shift solenoid needs replacing. I was upfront. Vehicle has 87000 miles on it. They advised because of this its only worth $500. Several other places had trade in over $3,000 when looking at same vehicle to include online sales. I left upset. (Internet sales) called and asked what happened, I explained, that the offer was a disgrace. If they would have said they did not want it or that it was worth any price closer to the other offers I would have kept my Van and bought the new one as I had already been pre-approved with check in hand. So, I receive a call back from the sales manager who told me his repair shop told him it would be around $3000 to repair the transmission that is why the low offer. Would MSRP with a $2000 towards it get my business, I advised there was no way I would do business with them. It was not about the money it was about being honest. read more

Still left with my car not fixed and trying to charge me for a diagnostic inspection from a under experienced tech that had to get pulled off my car. The new belt was installed by their own mechanic, who of course wrote the mileage, date, and his initials on the case. We were greeted warmly by Brandon Shields, a sales associate. We told him we were just browsing the lot. He let us do our browsing on our own with no pressure. We found a car we were interested in and he quickly attended to us. He was friendly, offered to buy us lunch, and answered all our questions. If he didn't know the answer he immediately found the answer. We ultimately bought the car and are thrilled to have it. We did not feel pressured from him to make this purchase at all.
