Ping's. Piiiing's. Easily a 3-4 times a month, no brainer, comfort food order. If you're reading this, you haven't tried them yet. Because if you've had Ping's, you already love it and are a regular. There's no in-between. Seriously an **amazing gem** of a spot hidden in a Fountain Hills shopping strip at the end of Shea. The food is perfect - every time. The take out is always hot and carefully packed. Every item we've had has been so flavorful and delicious. A neighborhood gem, with a very attractive dining room and excellent service from the owner/operators. While most of their business is take out, it is worth dining in if you can. Some of our favorites include wor wonton soup- some of the best in the valley, mu shu pork, and combination egg fu young. Almond cookies are a great treat at the end- many Chinese restaurants do not offer them any more. Good food and wonderful people. read more

They are so pleasant and fun to be around. I couldn't ask for better company! Service was prompt and very friendly. Food came out shortly afterwards, hot, fresh and delicious! Family owned business that has been here for years. Saw a few regular customers come in and be greeted by name. Very welcoming place. I had the cashew chicken and it was wonderful. All white meat, lots of whole cashews, green peppers, onions and celery. Very flavorful and fresh. read more

Clean friendly and attentive service. The egg drop soup was fantastic with a little bit of celery and chicken added for texture and taste. Egg rolls were cooked correctly and tasted great. Chicken Lo Mien had lots of moist tender chicken meat without any fat or nasty parts. I was either really hungry or the food was good or both. Either way I'm glad I stopped to eat here. read more

One of the best experiences I've had at a Chinese restaurant, the food was amazing . The Sweet sour chicken, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, lo mein, fried rice, spring rolls and white rice is what we got and All of the rice was cooked perfectly ! The lo mein was flavorful and the vegetables were cooked well too. The sweet and sour chicken was very very crispy as well as the spring rolls and was probably my favorite part of the order ! I also enjoyed the orange chicken, the flavor was there and the meat tasted clean with no bad parts. The Best I've ever had to be honest. I'd give it a 10/10 . Worst Chinese food we have ever had. Shrimp in lobster sauce was in some mysterious brown sauce. General Tsu chicken was totally breaded to death and yellow and dry. And things got worse from there. Don't believe me? Try for yourself. We have lived in Fountain Hills for 23 years and have tried Pings several times. Never good food. When are we going to learn? Lunch menu includes soup, egg roll, won tons and crab Rangoon in addition to copious quantity entree. Decor is standard Southern Chinese knick knacks and scenes. Wow! This place has definitely come a long way! When they first opened several years ago, this place was the type of restaurant where you would walk up to the counter, order your food and then they'd bring it out. It has since changed to a sit down place with waiter service. Having not eaten here in several years, I decided to give them another try. I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Pad Thai which was delicious and the portion was extremely generous. The pad thai comes with tofu only, which is right up my alley as I'm a vegetarian. On another occasion I had the kung pao tofu, which was also very flavorful. When I ate here several years ago it was extremely greasy and bland. It has since changed to be a great restaurant that has earned my business back! read more

This is without a doubt the worst Chinese restaurant I've been to my entire life. As soon as we walked in the place reeked of old frying oil smell. I knew it was gonna be bad after that smell invaded my nose. We order chicken curry wings as an appetizer which was horrible. Frozen wings dumped in an old frying oil then mixed with an awful tasting curry sauce!! And the potato steak fries that was mixed with the wings and the sauce was frozen and cold. We also ordered sweet and sour chicken entree and crispy duck entree. Both are horrible, the sweet and sour chicken was below average at best and the crispy duck was definitely not fresh and I'm pretty sure it was reheated multiple times. We didn't eat the white rice as it had a very bad smell besides being very dry. It was a waste of time and money. I strongly advise against going to this place. read more

Our family loves Ping's eggplant with pork, soups, mooshu chicken, green beans, etc We've had Chinese friends indicate that it's as good as home cooking and equal to what they get at local restaurants. Try the Hot and Sour soup (especially if you're stuffed up from allergies) - lots of egg and tofu. Love their spices. Also had chicken chow mien. Tasty, but noodles were a tad overdone. Absolutely terrible service. Ordered togo and was told 25 minutes to pick up. Since the last time I waited 20 minutes for my order after showing up on time I figured I would give them 35 minutes. Once again when I showed up for my order I was greeted with a laugh and that my order was not ready. I asked if it was close to being done and got no answer. Then I asked if it had been started and again no answer but the gal said she would go back and check. When she came back she told me to take a seat and wait. I asked one more time nicely if it had been started and she finally told me he had just started the order and explained there were lots of orders ahead of me. Well there was only one table of three in the restaurant so I told her that I was disappointed and was leaving. Never once this time or last did I get an " I am sorry your order is not ready " is that too much to ask for. read more
